I always love coming here to get my mani-pedis. It's a little farther from home then I like but in my opinion it's worth the drive. I love the fact that they do my mani and pedi at the same time I am a very impatient person and hate sitting for long periods of time. The highest mani pedi you can get is what I highly recommend!! It feels amazing leaving your hands and feet so soft. Not to mention the awesome hot stone rub you get. The ladies here are always friendly and I have yet to have a bad experience. John did my nails! Ahhh I love them! Ok, so I've been coming here for over 5 years and I think I can say there has been trial and error. I've had good manicures and really bad ones. But once I started weeding out the bad ones, I have come down to 2 ultimate favorites: John and Trisha. John is great with acrylics and Trisha is my 2nd favorite with manicures and acrylics. I get my manicures by John and only John.  He does a top notch job.  I get powder over my own nails and then gel paint.  It always lasts two weeks unless I do something dumb like close my finger in a door!  Ask for an appointment with John and you won't be disappointed!!! Read Less

I came first thing in the morning when they opened; my regular salon was closed and I was in a hurry. There were a few other customers already being helped but they had enough staff to do my gel manicure and pedicure. Staff was friendly and did a great job on both my hands and feet. The gel manicure lasted 3 weeks without any peeling or lifting. I wash my hands a lot, do lots of dishes and change baby diapers, so for there to be no peeling really impressed me. I was in the area needed to get a fill so I decided to try this place. The place is very clean, very nice looking. Everything was fine until the nail technician slipped with their Dremel and cut up my finger. It's scratched it pretty bad and they did not even apologize for it. They did clean it up with rubbing alcohol, and put a little bit of medicine on it.  I was asked if I wanted my nails shorter, I said yes but the nail technician didn't even bother to ask how short I wanted it he made the decision on his own. He did not ask the shape I wanted my nails done in, and he's made them too rounded, I prefer more square.  I gave this place in okay rating, the nails do look decent it's not horrible, but there should be more communication between the Nail Tech and his client. And not apologizing for slipping and scratching up my finger? That is just in poor taste.I updated my score, as the manager contacted me to discuss the issue, and I greatly appreciate that. I've had a lot of trial and error here in the last 6 years since I've been living in Chino Hills. You would probably be disappointed if you go and don't have the ones you "like" and be like me who took awhile to find the "one/s".  I do regular manicures and pedicures, sometimes gel and sometimes acrylic on special occasions to give my nails extra strength.  Vicky  is the best and regular/gel mani and pedis. Trisha is the best at manis, gel, design and acrylic! She's the only one now who touches my nails! Jasmine use to do both of mine too until she became one of the managers there. And can't forget June who as also become a family friend is theeeeee best at brows! They have recently renovated their spot so it's nice and clean and good enough for me! I normally don't like big salons and rather go to a boutique type place but when you've found your "girls" you gotta stick! I went to this place regularly when I moved to Chino Hills. It went downhill quick. I was never really satisfied with the rush job. If you get hands and feet done they do them at he same time and it feels like you're being tugged and pulled in different directions. Not relaxing in the least. I don't like their selection of colors a the gel polish always starts peeling off within a week. It's always busy and loud and the TVs are on too. The worst part is that I don't think they're reporting all their earnings. The last couple of times I went and got both hand and feet done, I was first asked how I was paying, I answered cash, then I was given my check. The check only had my pedicure on it and not my manicure. I told her the manicure was missing and she just told me my total and took me to the register. She took my check and asked for the cash. I gave her the cash for mani and pedi and they only put the cash for the pedi with the check in the register. This has happened to me twice. I will never go there again. Read Less

Very pleased with my visit to happy nails!! I had Henry for my acrylic nails and Amy for my pedicure! Loved the way it turned out. My nails have never looked so clean. Horrible service signed in for brows and they had me waiting 45 minutes they were taking others ahead of me even though I was signed in first. Don't know if it's because they were getting manis or pedis so they moved them ahead or what but they were all signed in after me and left me sitting there even though I showed them I was ahead on the list. So...if you want the best pedicure around, go to Happy Nails...and if you want acrylic nails to last for over 3 weeks (like they do on my sweaty hands), go to Happy Nails.  They are the best around!!!  Even with a more basic pedicure, they take their time on you and you leave perfectly relaxed and pampered.  Whether it be manicures, pedicures, full sets, or fills, I never leave in under an hour...that's how much care they take with you.  (P.S. To begin I arrive at this respectfully decorated place at about 3:45 as I enter I inform the person at the front desk assuming she's a manager of some sort. More over once  after getting signed in for nails, I mentioned I needed an eyebrow wax she points to the back of the nail shop and states I need to sign in there because it a "different " person. So as I approach I sign my name in for a wax separate from the nails and get called immediately for my nails and pedi to begin. AFTER AN HOUR AND A HALF of correcting and adjusting both pedi and nail people to make an effort to do half decent nails. Once finished I head to the wax room to get told the wax lady has already left mmmmm ok sooo then I'm basically out of luck till the expression on my face finally gave them a sense of urgency to find SOMEONE to complete my request. Mind you I get gel on both full set and pedi along with wax eyebrow and lip. When it comes to quality I'm not stingy. All in all my nails have more than 5 layers of nail polish. My feet look like chiclets barely holding together. The only positive was the wax lady. For everything it was $120!!!!!! I'm tired of being treated differently each time i try coming here. I wait a while almost every time which is acceptable because there's only one waxer and a lot of people waiting to get waxed. But today i got cut by a rude lady who tried being fake friendly to the waxer to get in front of the line, AND IT WORKED!! her name was literally last on the list. then the waxer apologized to me saying she thought we had the same name. ???ok??? anyway then she asked who does my eyebrows (I was there for lip and chin) and I said I get them threaded and I don't like getting anything else threaded because it hurts too much. she then asked me "you don't think waxing hurts?" and i said "yeah but it goes by a lot faster and easier" then she proceeded to wax me really aggressively. it was the worst pain i ever felt from waxing and I've been with her before but she probably just doesn't remember me so thought it was okay to show me that "waxing hurts." I don't know why she waxed me this way. she also didn't take her time with me like she usually does or was doing with everyone else. I'm so sad to be treated this way. Not coming back or recommending this place to anyone.UPDATE: i just got home and looked at my face because it was hurting so bad and noticed there is 2 small chunks of my skin gone. Got my nails done here by Jolie two days ago for my senior prom! I made an appointment, but I pushed it back to 6:30, which was half an hour before closing time but they still let me in. I still was able to get seated right away, and in about 5 minutes, Jolie was working on my nails. I told her I wanted gel but not a full set, but I was worried that the shape of my nails would be awkward and ugly since I already cut them short the week before. She was still able to file and trim the cuticles with ease, but I wish she went slower because she kind of picked the edge of my nailbed. Thankfully, it didn't bleed, but I guess it probably didn't look like it'd be painful to her. I got a nice baby blue color and I liked how Jolie was able to finish painting my nails with just 2 coats. I've seen some bad salons go for 3, even 4 coats of polish and that just thickens the nails way too much and makes it look fake, especially with acrylics. Anyways, I was out in about 30 minutes and it was $30 because I didn't do a design. I guess the price is reasonable, but being from LA, I could probably find a lot more salons that do the same work for less money. I just found that expensive because when I went to Ten20 nails (also in Chino Hills), I got a full set acrylic gel nails with designs for only $40. I would probably not come back here just because I don't usually get my nails done often, and when I do, it's usually for some special occasion. Overall, I liked how friendly Jolie was and how easy it was to talk to her. I would recommend everyone giving this place a try at least since it can get hard to find a decently priced salon here around Chino Hills. Read Less

I went to this nail shop for the first time yesterday and I was very pleased with my whole experience there. I had a fill and a pedicure. I splurged on the pedicure and had the "pamper me" and it was so worth it. I loved the hot stones and Jody did the best pedicure design. Here's the thing.   I'm sure this shop has some nice people working there.  I went in for a pedi and gel nails.  I had never had gel nails done before.  I asked a few questions and explained what I wanted and showed her a photo.  I totally understand the language barrier, but never have I been treated so rudely in a nail salon.  They acted so put out that I had any questions. She kept jerking my hands when she would adjust me.  I have been getting my nails done since I was about 16, so at 38 I've had more than a few.  She was so unbelievably rude, and then proceeded to talk about me with the other ladies (I know this is often a cliched joke) RUDE. I will never, ever set foot my unmanicured foot in here again. Too bad, because the nails look pretty great.  It's never ok to treat people that way, let alone a paying customer. Read Less

Not happy with this place. I just moved to the area and thought I would make this my new nail salon. I had an older lady do my pedi, polish came out well, but the extra money, I paid to get my feet scrubbed was not done to where I was satisfied. She put the callus gel on and barely scrubbed the bottom of the feet where I always have trouble. She started prepping my feet for polish. I was confused because she barely touched the bottom of my feet, so I told her that "I needed more scrubbed off, otherwise the part that was soaking in the water and had turned white, will turn rock hard when it drys". She was having none of that! She kept saying that if she keeps scrubbing, it will hurt me! I corrected her, and told her, I need it, I've done it for years now and it doesn't hurt me!!all she kept saying was to go home and put Vaseline on it, lol, I will not be coming back here, no ty! Walked in Valentines Day with no appointment. They were busy but took me in, I waited about 15min. It's been a really long time since I've gotten acrylic nails, probably about 10 years. I had a picture of a natural ombré coffin nail I wanted, and Natalie pretty much replicated. I can't have them super long because I have small children, so I was concerned the coffin style wouldn't look good short. I love my nails and am looking forward to treating myself more often. Also, I know it's important for a lot of people for the technician to talk to you and not speak in their native tongue to other technicians while doing nails. This place is hit or miss, today was my last straw. The woman who did my mani was on her phone and  she also made my nail bleed. She didn't apologize or even acknowledge the fact that she made me bleed. She was very rude and the woman doing my toes even seemed appalled by her behavior. She didn't speak to me once if she wanted me to do something she would tap my hand and point. She did speak to the woman who did my toes so I know she spoke English. For $63 for a gel mani and regular pedi, I think the service should have been a lot better. Also the chair they put me in was broken so I didn't even get to enjoy a back rub. Never coming here again. I decided to try this place with my friend and literally was the WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! I got a fill and received a older lady that seemed like she knew what she is doing. SHE DIDNT. She kept having to be helped by the owner and my nails looked uneven, resembled hills, and DIDNT EVEN GET PAINTED. I was SO pissed, I told the lady to stop and yelled at the owner for giving me someone who didn't know what she was doing. It took her over 2 hours to do a horrible job. I had a meeting to go to so I couldn't have someone else to finish so I had my nails looking uneven for a entire weekend. I had them touched up with the owner and never went there again. Really bad service I went today October 5,2016 they cut my skin I got a 30 dls pedicure and she told me to do gel for 5 dl more but I end it up paying 50 dls after I pay the lady that was doing my pedi was doing a 10 min massage she noticed that I only give her $2.50 for tip she stopped doing my massage. So I go in and get my brows done the first time with June two weeks ago and she cleans them up and tells me not to do anything to them and let them grow out. In fact, she left them alone in certain areas and said she needs to let them grow out. I followed her orders and went in yesterday with a two week growth excited to see the results.  Instead I was disappointed because she took everything off via wax and left my brows really thin. I told June at the beginning of the appointment that I did as she requested at the last appointment and I let my brows grow out, so there was no lack of communication.  Now my brows are thin and I don't like the way they look. I heard about the shop from a coworker/friend. I came in and they seated me quickly, also served me with a beverage. I was unsure of what nail trim to get and one of the nice ladies made a suggestion, and she did such an amazing job! Even as I was leaving the gentleman was concerned about my feet as he didn't want them to be ruined by my shoes so he wrapped my feet in cellophane.
