I was on my way to Costco the day before Easter Sunday and realized I hadn't gotten my nails done. I saw this nail salon before, as I pass it every time I come to Costco. So I decided to give it a try.I was greeted by a man who told me 10 to 15 mins before someone could take me. So naturally I expected this was a terrible guess. Most nail salons tell you 10 to 15 then before you know it they're closing but you swear it was just noon. Guess what guys, I was wrong they really did take me back to a chair with in the time frame. EXPECTATION SET AND MET! He provided me a water and turned the chair on, the massage chair itself was pretty standard. The pedicure: amazing, Kathy did a wonderful job, she did upsell me because it had been a while since I had my nails done so I figured it was worth it. The price is a little steep considering most places pedicure standard is lotion, hot oil, scrub and polish. Their standard is cut trim and polish. So I splurged and went to the 30$ one. Again my pedicure was awesome she got my ingrowns out. Did wonders on my cuticles and her massage was awesome. The manicure: I typically do not get polish, just a buff. I'm a stickler about my cuticles which Snow missed a lot of, she is sweet and kind but seemed bothered that I asked her to go back and fix them. I prefer my nails to be filed rather than cut, I asked for round she did a square round. Again I asked her to file them round she said she did, so we had a discussion what round meant to me and what round meant to her. She fixed them, in the middle of fixing the square round issue she brings up her tip. I get it just like serving, tip is where the majority of their money comes from. Now, I am not a shy tipper. I will tip you. However being asked about your tip while you're fixing my nails just doesn't seem appropriate. Now we are having a conversation about the tip, I said I have card, she said she prefers cash, again I totally get it. However I do find this unprofessional. To top it off, as I walk up to the counter to pay she tells the gentleman in front, NO CASH TIP, now I get it, I'm sorry I didn't have cash I was planning on tipping you on my card which I know doesn't get to you right away. But again just simply unprofessional. They do have a sign that says prefer cash tip, they even have an ATM which is great if I would have brought my ATM. Over all I paid 55 bucks for a mani and a pedi. No gel. No flowers. No real extras. I won't be coming back here, I'll stick to my normal spot next time. Read Less
