Terrible. Was told a gel mani would be 25$ then midway changed the price to 30$ for French tips which I had already mentioned before she began. She had trouble shaping my nails so the owner took over and impatiently asked what I wanted again and after telling her I wanted thick French tips with square-rounded nails..she proceeded to tell me that thick French tips weren't called French tips and that what I was asking for was a "design". I told her I had no problem getting what I asked for in the 20 different salons I've prob gone to and she js vigorously worked on my nails again. Also. I was grossed out that the small water bowl for your fingers weren't rinsed after I used them. She dumped out the water and put it back in her drawer. Overall I have two cuts on my cuticles and a simple manicure ended up taking an hour and 30 mins with a rude owner who was clearly unhappy doing someone's else's job and continued to reprimand the previous lady in front of me. This place made me so upset!! We got here around 11am , they said the wait was 30minues so left and killed time and then when we got back, they said a few more minutes ... it had already been an hr! Two young high schoolers walked in and got helped right away when I was clearly waiting longer. When they finally started working on my nails, they also started on another lady that had just gotten there.The nail lady gave me a manicure , which only included removing my cuticles, and left such a big gap between where my gel started and my finger . The picture provided is a day old. I missed my other appt at 1pm and had to reschedule. I get its busy Saturdays but 3 hours altogether? Not cool.They are so rude here and everytime someone arrives, they stop helping you to help another person. They are definitely way understaffed bu I think they do it to save money. Read Less

Walked by this place several times...intrigued but just didn't have the time. Finally had the day off and decided to come and to treat my mom. They sat us down and waited to be helped for a good while. Then finally we get someone that's very snobby. After some time passed we tried making the best of it. My mom and I were laughing about something and one of the younger ladies who I'm assuming was a manager...legit got in my moms face and asked "can I help you?". I had just said "we're laughing...is that a problem?" She had just walked away with an ugly stare down. So bottom line we got horrible service, attitude, and too over priced for the horrible job we got. Will never waste my time and money at this place again. like most nail places they always try to add additional services. well she talked me into waxing my eye brows.  my eye brows were uneven and terrible, when i complained the owner was so upset she looked like she was about to get violent, she raised her voice and ended up shouting over $8 bucks. The OWNER is disgusting. I sat and listened to her talk sooooooo much crap about the customers in her shop.. and then smile in their face. She specifically spoke about the lady next to me who had been her customer for a while.. she said it's sad she doesn't know I have her name saved in my phone as ugly fat black lady.. and her workers all laughed.. and then told the poor lady the owner was talking about food. The comments she was making were racist and horrible.. listening to her talk crap about her paying customers while she smiled in their face made me sick to my stomach. Very disappointed !! My nails fell off a week later and the color I asked for was a regular nail polish but they refused to paint that color because it "doesn't last" more like it's cheaper. So they proceeded to paint them gel so I can pay more! Never going back!!!! Read Less

The lady I got my full set done by was Ann. She was very nice and friendly and carried in a conversation with me the entire time. I told her I work in a restaurant and can't have my nails long so she filed them short for me to a good length and shape. Everything was fine until this point. Then when she went to use the nail drill she cut me twice. As she was painting my nails she got the polish all over my cuticles and skin and didn't bother fixing it. Once the gel was done drying she didn't even clean them off with alcohol and they were still a little sticky. Overall, I am not happy with the way my nails look and I will probably not return. I don't know about the other reviews but I had a great experience at this location. My best friend lives in the Chino Hills area and we decided to make it a girls day out. We waited no more than 5 minutes and it was a pleasant experience.Chair was clean, they used a tub line to cover the tub; pretty clean to me.Nice decor, again clean all around.The staff was friendly and efficient. I told my friend I'd be visiting her once a month for our mani/pedi. I'll definitely be going back.Only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because they are a bit pricey; but personally it was worth it for me. Read Less

Don't come here!! I witnessed the lady take her dirty nail supplies and clippers she just used on someone and dip it in the spa water and when the next lady sat down she used them on her!! Also, I had an appointment and waited 10 min and then I left to grab lunch real quick because she told me another 10 minutes and when I came back I waited another 5 minutes ... I made an appointment because I was on my lunch break.. also, she was rude and didn't talk to me at all and beware at the very end she told me my manager was going to be five dollars more if I wanted it or massage what I already asked how much their Medicare was she told me $20 and then after my manicure she told me it would be five extra dollars to add the massage with lotion and oil what was the point of My manicure then? I was really hoping to have found a new nail salon especially after hearing a few ladies from a local FB page recommend this place. Unfortunately I will NOT be back!  The ladies who recommended Elegant Nail reported that they pay $30 both both a gel manicure and gel pedicure. I called the salon to confirm their prices beforehand and was told its $15 for gel pedicures and $20 for gel manicure. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't the $30 that the others ladies pay but thought maybe that was the price for longstanding clients. Still 35 bucks isn't bad for both mani & pedi gel so I invited my mom and sister to join me. After getting there the lady that is doing my mom's pedi says her pedi will be $30. I'm like, "Waaait but I called earlier and was told gel mani 20 gel pedi 15." Then another lady from across the room jumps in and says, "Oh you called yeah" and agrees to that price. The two ladies start arguing in a different language about the prices and the lady from across the room walks over. My mom and I are looking at each other like confused. And I say, "I don't understand I called and asked specifically the price for this and you said 15 gel pedi 20 gel mani." She says, "No you asked just pedi not gel. No one is trying to cheat you!". My face is like, "Ooooooh hell no!" but my sister jumps in and tells me its fine "just enjoy it." Enjoy it!? Wth? Ugh, no. I cannot stand rude people and especially business owners. I kept my calm and moved forward since my damn feet were already in the water and my mom and sister picked out their colors. But I could not enjoy the process. I have the extra money to spend that is not the issue. Its principle. Don't change prices once you tell a client a specific price. And especially don't be rude to them in the process! Oh and there is a "special" on the window but they said it only applies to high schoolers. Wth?! Ageism!? Lol Iam giving them one star because the gal that did my nails (Laura) was nice. Elegant Nail Spa is lovely, with classy decor, a friendly staff, attention to detail. I came in on a whim for a pedicure, and I'm glad I hadn't read these unfair negative reviews first!! Ivy was my technician and she was absolutely the best! Your foot soak bowl is lined with plastic, eliminating any sanitation concerns. I've had many pedicures and often the techs are rough when removing calluses and they are in a hurry to get you done and out the door, but not here! I received gentle treatment in a relaxed unhurried atmosphere. I was served iced tea without even asking for it during my pedicure. I came in for the first time today and I will NOT be back- there wasn't one other person in the salon the girl helping me kept trying to get me to have other services ( I get that) but when I was finished only receiving a gel color change, she told me $19 dollars, I told her to add $5 tip to my card - she pulls out the receipt and it's $30.00 ! My go to will always be Expo Nails....I'm only giving this place 1 star because I like that they had a descent selection of gel colors (and I can't give it 0) ... But other than That... Jenny is definitely unfair and shady. I got a gel Pedi $28 and she asked if I wanted a design so I said yeah that's fine & she suggested rhinestones to match my nails (that I had done at Expo nails) I agreed and she put a cute design on my toes, but after she was done then she said it will be $10 for the design???? Everyone else there charged $5 so idk why she wanted to up the design price without even telling me before hand. My mother and I were asking her why she was being unfair & she literally lost it, grunted "Oh My God!" Turned away from us and walked back to start another pedicure! SO RUDE! I've never had an experience like that in my life! If I could give it zero stars I would...this place is horrible.1. The worst customer service. Extremely rude!!2. Very unsanitary. When I was done, they drained my water 3/4 of the way down then filled it up for the next customer. GROSS!!!3. They can't do any designs after they said they could when we called. I wasn't asking for anything crazy. Two different colors and polka dots on the ring finger. After talking to the owner she said someone else can do it but for $10!! No thank you, I'm not paying $10 for dots. I can do that at home. 4. Assembly line operations. If you're in a hurry and need a gel mani/spa pedi in under 20 min, this is the place for youThe only positive comment I have is that they are reasonably priced...$29 for mani/pedi. Terrible!! Don't go here!!I have come here over the years and decided today while getting a mani/pedi that it will be my last time. The service and quality has gone downhill. I wanted a simple design for Easter (polka dots) and none of the ladies would do it and they wanted to charge me $10 for polka dots on one nail!! Ridiculous! So many salons can do nail design, especially something so simple. They are not friendly and rush through the mani/pedi. The prices are reasonable, but I guess you get what you pay for  My nephew got a manicure today and the lady spent all of 3 minutes doing his manicure. Why can't I find a good nail place!!! This place is soooo not good! The first time I came, I was very pleased with the service. The second time I came, i was told they couldn't do basic designs  Even though the first time, the girl did so much more in terms of design then what i was wanting the second time around. They charged me $15 for the design and the next day later, the rhinestones were falling off and I had air bubbles in my nails. I've been coming here since high school. Whenever I'm home from college, I make sure to come get my nails done here. Spacious and cheap with complimentary grreen tea lemonade! BOOOM. Love comps. Cheap: gel nail set for $10!!! What a steal. I'm really picky, pretty much putting my hands under a microscope every time (putting my biology degree to good use) and have stuck with Kelly for years! She's timely and gets the job done well. The gel set lasts me 2-3 weeks depending on when I want to manually peel off the paint if there's a small little chip. OCD like that. For special occasions, I'll get pink and white with Kelly too. Just the right thickness or thinness, whatever you want to call it. $29 Kelly is always busy so I usually make my appointment ahead of time. Read Less
