I used to go here because the lady has a "secret recipe" acrylic that she calls "fiberglass".  If you continue coming back to her, she will make sure your nails are never damaged.UNFORTUNATELY:1. An appointment for a full set may last 3 hours2. The woman tries to impose her nail design opinion on you, over &over.3. She does not honor appointments-no matter what your plans are.  Ok, so I'll schedule an appointment around my schedule..WRONG!This lady will pencil you in, you'll to call to confirm..AND she'll say "yes honey" but when you walk in, she just started on someone's walk in full set 7 minutes ago! *UPDATE 6/18/15*  Just had another stellar manicure from this husband/wife duo.  I appreciate that they thoroughly soaked my hands in water before trying to cut away skin.  Instead of rushing through each step trying to get as many people through as possible in a day, they take their time and make sure it's done right.  This is not the place to go if you are in a rush or you are with a big group because it's just the two of them.  But if you want kind people who are gentle with your hands and detail oriented, go here.  Treat them nice and they will treat you well.  *Original Review*The husband and wife who run this nail salon do a really nice job.  I've been there three times for a manicure and each time the manicure surpassed my expectation.  The husband tends to do more of the shaping and filing, and then the wife comes and does the polish.  I really enjoy the team.The nail polish is numbered and in order on the wall.  It's easy to remember you liked #15 or #178.  Any request will be accommodated, and oftentimes she will offer to show you something for free, like a nail design or something, and if you don't like it she can take it off.With only two people working there, it can get backed up.  But I like that they don't rush, because when it's you in the chair you don't want your manicure rushed because someone comes in the door.During conversation she has told me about shortcuts other nail salons will take to save money like re-using equipment and watering down supplies.  She says she can't find employees who will clean things properly.  That is really sad, and gross.  I trust that she sanitizes according to the law, and I trust her husband, too.I'm not really sure why Pretty Nails has gotten such bad reviews.  If you are easy going and are kind to them, they will be kind to you.  If you need something done differently, just ask. This place is a joke!! The only person in this place with a valid license is the owner. The husband and the owners sister do not have a license!! They make it appear to be clean and nice but they only clean their pedicure chairs with a sponge and liquid soap!! FYI read up on State Board Rules!! I will never go here again. There was only one review for Pretty Nails, but it was such a positive review that I decided to try them for a pedicure. I walked in without an appointment and was greeted warmly by Betty. She and her husband, Minh, own the business. I had a basic pedicure. Betty prepared my feet and Minh gave me the massage which was one of the best masages I have ever had. Everything is new and clean here. The prices are nice compared to other places. The employees are professional, and they take very good care their customers. Nails designs are fancy, creative and beautiful. I definitely want to come back here to get my nails done. Read Less
