Let me tell you about my experience and then you decide.I was recommended to come here for an amazing pedicure that beats all pedicures that I've experienced in the Chico area. So this place came highly recommended.I liked the vibe of the place, truly clean and up to date decor, mural on back wall of a sunset ocean beach, it looked  and felt relaxing. There are four groups of nail stations through out the room, and a bank of pedicure chairs are on either side of the room. Four nail techs and two pedicure techs.I came in, noticing three young women waiting, I thought, this could be a while, so I asked the younger male host and he said "10 minutes, he even held up his ten fingers for me to count... or to assure me that my wait won't be long, those who are waiting are getting a manicure and that's different wait time.The two pedicure techs were both working. By looking you can tell at what point there going to finish up by what they were doing and personally to me it looked Like longer than ten minutes... I'm 20 minutes into my waiting and two young people come in, chat a second with the younger male host and he jokes and says to me not much longer and tells them 30 minutes.Next, I would guess 2 minutes he calls them back their pedicure and tells me it's going to be a longer wait! Yes! I sure will, because I doubt I will ever return and I will tell everyone about my treatment! This guy (younger male host) has no idea what sort of day I had and to treat the owners customers with an obvious attitude of favoritism is poor customer service. If the owner of this establishment knew this behavior toward potential clients would they approve?I don't mind being told that it's 10 minutes, and having to wait when I can clearly see that the techs are busy, but what I don't appreciate is being told I will have to wait longer when two people who came in after me, clearly did no have an appointment, got called back just minutes after the host acknowledged that I was next. Went here with my 2 friends for a gel manicure. The staff was wonderful and my nail tech was very nice. Unfortunately all 3 of our nails began to lift and peel within a week, not the quality I was hoping for. I expect my gel to last 2 to 3 weeks. Read Less

I came in this afternoon and had my nails fixed. I had gone to another salon this morning and asked for a medium length, slightly tapered, neutral pink nail... she gave me short, highly tapered coffin, crooked nails... I was absolutely upset and mad at myself for not speaking up for myself and Lavish Nails was so nice about it. I didn't feel judged for going to another salon and Angie was so nice. She gave me EXACTLY what I wanted in the first place and let me be as picky as I wanted knowing how upset I had been. She removed the other acrylics and put on a full set. Her application was super precise, my nails are all straight, and the polish she put on is nice and smooth and shiny. No stray messy polish on my cuticles and skin like I had before! I plan on going back in a few weeks for a fill and I'm so appreciative of how nice they were to me after the morning I had. She did knick the skin on both of my ring fingers, but she was super clean and professional about it and I'm honestly not concerned about it. First time going yesterday. I got such a nice pedicure. The ladies there were polite, friendly, and nice. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant. One of the better experiences I've had at a nail salon. Will definitely be back to get a manicure. Read Less

This is by far my favorite nail place in town. Clean, comfortable and short wait times, especially with appointments. Everyone is skilled with what they do and efficient. Some of the guys are a crack up and definitely make you smile. They have powder dipped nails now so I don't plan to go anywhere else again. Lots of color selection and styles. Some places don't do the upkeep part when they do gel, powdered etc but Lavish always trims and beautifies the finger as well. I have never had nail fungus but a month after going here I started seeing my nails looking weird took 2 months to get into a Dermatology Office. Just to find out what this was they took a sample of my nails and sent it to the lab. FUNGUS now I have to be on meds for 10 months. So be very careful and if you have to go here PLEASE bring you own stuff. Read Less

I just got my nails done at Lavish and was so impressed! They were very accommodating and were super nice! They made my Disney World nails look so cute and used the stickers I brought! They stayed late to finish my nails but I never felt rushed! Will definitely be back! Read Less

Very nice staff, beautiful salon. Definitely luxury pricing. I came to this salon on a Saturday morning while I was in town visiting. I was there for about 2 and a half hours. I paid $85, before tip, for a gel pedicure and acrylic fill in. (With all the add ins: shape, cut, callus remove, paraffin wax). The pedicure was delightful, but the very next day the gel polish started peeling off of my toenails & of course it was Sunday and they were closed. My fill was also very pretty. My technician was great at small talk and her opinion was helpful. Even, nicely shaped nails at the perfect length. After a week the polish was chipping vey bad and the acrylic was lifting off of my fingernails.I was rather annoyed to have to get both services redone so soon and a little disappointed in wasting so much time and money here. I absolutely love Lavish Nails!!! I got a manicure by a woman named Lena and she was so sweet and precise! She kept making sure I was happy with my gel nails and even resurfaced one nail on her own because she saw something that I didn't see! I've had the same gel polish on for 4 weeks now (obviously my nails are super grown out) and the polish still hasn't started to lift! I'm definitely going back soon to get my nails done again!!!The staff are so customer friendly and really know how to take care of their clients! For the service you get, and the quality of the nails, their pricing is so reasonable! I got a gel set for $25! Check them out because they really are amazing! Read Less

I'm very sensitive when I go to pedicures being that my toes are deformed but in 25 years of doing pedicures I never been so ashamed when I took my shoe off The lady giggled in her arm and start to cough from laughter started to talk in her language and they started to laugh I feel so ashamed and humiliated it's not my fault I was going to this way Read Less

It's unacceptable when one of your nail techs fat shames a child and the rest of the employees laugh about it! Horrible customer service! Do NOT come get your nails done at this place or you might get bullied too! Read Less
