Honestly, if the management was better at keeping track of appointments , I would give this place 5 stars. I love my technician, she is the best. The best at cleaning, shaping , and painting. Jeannie is the best. Literally. But the way they keep track of appointment times are horrible. This is my go to nail salon in Cerritos. Their service and quality is hit or miss though - it really depends on who is doing your mani and pedi. Sandy is really good - detailed and thorough. Cindy is also really good. They don't have a huge selection of OPI branded polishes and they have no OPI gel polishes. OPI is the brand I typically prefer as it stays on longer. They are usually packed, so I recommend making reservations. If they're busy, they'll only do one service at a time rather than getting both your mani and pedi done at the same time. Read Less

I have been coming to this Nail salon for a few years now. They are so fantastic! The ladies at the front desk are always so attentive and sweet!! I have gotten both gel and acrylic nails done here before and they always turn out fabulous. Tina is the lady I always request to do my acrylics she always does such a great job on the coffin and almond shape that I like! Ann is also someone I would usually try and book with because she is so good at design and unique nails. They usually have a pretty good staff on at all times so there isn't a too long of wait, but they are really good so there could be a wait sometimes especially on the weekends. The best times to go is during the week days! Not only do I love this place but my mother and sister always get their nails done here too! The ladies always ask how we are doing and if I am alone they ask about my mom and sister! Super sweet and personal! Love it! Today was super weird at this place. I've been here before but not consistently because it isn't the closets place to my house. I went today because I wanted this blue gel polish that I have yet to find anywhere else. I was given a sheet that has the options for services. It was either get a simple pedicure or one with a salt scrub, sugar scrub, cooling mask, callus remover and something else. I typically get the fancy one but opted for the cheaper one without the scrub because my skin had a bit of a reaction to a scrub a few days ago. When I explained that to the one doing my nails she tells the one doing my pedicure. Then makes a remark, assuming I don't understand what she is saying,  along the  lines of me not wanting to pay extra and that im just cheap lol. I just looked and rolled my eyes because I didn't want to make a scene, but i knew I definitely wouldn't be going back. At some point during my pedicure, the lady starts to rub a scrub on my legs, to which I respond no I don't want any scrub, the one who made the comment about me being cheap then says "this comes with it we aren't charging you extra! Its not extra so don't worry.  It's not extra money " now...why the hell would that be the response when i told you i didnt want any type of scrub. Like, my concern isnt a extra 10 bucks its my skin being irritaed. And why not mention the regular one comes with a scrub too. Oh i know why, because i was obviously lying and too cheap  so it's totally ok to be rude to me, not mention there is another scrub,  then procede to have a attitude the remainder of my appt. Made an appointment to get a full set & pedicure for 1:30pm. Came in sat here until 2:30pm a lady walked in after me and asked what's the wait for nails and then was given a seat before me. Then I go to ask about when will I be serviced and they act as if their confused and say the person who's doing my nails is in the back. I wanted to write a great review for this nail spa because I have such a positive experience every single time I come. Today was one of the best experiences by far! I got both a mani and a pedi, and they turned out great. Jeannie did an awesome job with my pedicure. She took her time and made my feet look amazing. I appreciated how much care she put into her work. She didn't rush even though there was a line. Katie did a fantastic job with my manicure as well! I asked for a heart design. It was hard to believe it was her first time doing it because the finished product looks so cute! (My friends all agree.) I could tell she was committed to doing her best work because she kept asking me if the design was what I wanted. I won't be going back. When I go to a nail salon, I always like to get a design. If you can't do the design I'm asking for, please just tell me. I don't like being a guinea pig. In this case, the design I asked for was just to one finger in both hands, 3 straight lines in navy blue and white to form triangles. The lines were not straight, some lines were thicker than the others, and one the lines in white was faded!I also got a French tip pedicure...I'm sure we've gotten nipped a little too deep in the cuticles by accident before, no biggie. But the lady that did my toes, it felt like she had it out for each of my toes!!! I've never had such a painful pedi before!! On one of my toes, she nipped a piece of skin so deep that even until now, it's scabbed but it still hurts....and I got my nails done 4 days ago!!!! Yeah, definitely NOT going back!! Read Less

*TIP: Make an appointment with a lady named ANN! I wanted to be selfish..but since we're an awesome Yelp community, I decided to share lol. Shes the best one here (in my opinion) and she will make your nails look really good!! She makes nice coffin or narrow shaped nails -- if you're a big fan of skinny, elegant looking nails. This place is a hit or miss! I have some days when I walk out with my nails looking bomb af, and some days when I felt like I wasted money for nails I could've painted on my own. Honestly, you just have to find a nail lady in this location that has done your nails really well and continue to make an appointment with them for your next visit. Most of the females here are not that good. I've had a few where they had always shaped my nails so unevenly -- it's quite annoying! It's like..do I have to file my own nails to my own liking before I come here? I come here because it's close to my house, and $20 for a gel mani is a good deal. I've been coming to Lotus for several years and it's my go-to place to get a manicure and pedicure. I always make my appointments beforehand with Jeannie because she's my absolute favorite! Their prices are fair and the place is very clean. They have a variety of regular and gel nail colors and I am always satisfied with the way everything turns out.
