There are a few professional staff in this place but know that you’re gambling by picking this spa! You could have a good experience ... or you could totally waste all that money and get the crappiest work done on your nails....or you could even be sent back home since they have over booked your person (even when you’ve booked your appointment A WEEK before!)... This is one of my favorite nail spots!! They are always packed, but for a reason. They have a great selection of gel colors and powders, even the chrome and holographic. After years of going here I felt compelled to finally write a review. Bout to sound real 1st world problems here: I tend to wear my real nails long with gel over and I'm always picky about the shape. I asked Terry (the owner) on her opinion on who to go to-- I've been with a lot of techs, but my nails seemed to always break or the shape was off (they would file the gel off before soaking but almost always ended up filing my actual nail too thin).Since then I've been going to Bella or Mia. Since they work with acrylics most of the time they both take their time shaping and soaking off my polish. My gel manis have been lasting over a month without chipping in most cases. Recently I came back to get my nail repaired by Mia since it was breaking at a really awkward place(completely my fault). She repaired it, TWICE, also putting clear coat on the rest of my nails BOTH TIMES and charged me NOTHING for it. She didn't want to take the tip I offered but I insisted. i absolutely love this place! terry and lucy are both so talented and friendly. they are priced very reasonably and they always (i mean ALWAYS) take me at my appointment time. i have never had to wait. the salon is clean and i can tell the employees enjoy working there. also, my acrylic gel manicure always lasts three weeks. 5 stars! Been holding off from writing my review about this place for a while. No real reason but I think it's time.I'll start by praising LINA. Lina. Lina. Lina. Lina.Remember that. And tip her well dammit. Very rare and few actually deserve it.I had a very bad experience at this other one place nearby and was really hoping to make up for it by coming back and remaining loyal to this place.Well, I definitely got a substantially better experience and then some (with Lina).I won't get into too much detail about the conversations (don't know the field and don't want to get her in trouble) but I had questions about SNS, acrylic, and gel. She not only answered the questions honestly, but she asked me questions so she could truthfully give me her opinions in the matter.Who does that anymore?? Thank you Lina.I'm not the girly type and color is never really the end game. For me, it's about getting the cuticles cleaned. Getting my nails decently filed so my (already super short) nails don't make my hands look like they did when I was in elementary biting them to shorten them so I could play ball with the boys.My toes, I have slight ingrowns and rarely have they been successfully removed. This woman did and the relief was amazing!Also, I explained to Lina how my skin was sensitive and probably allergic to wax, but threading was too painful for me, so she told me she could tweeze! So few places do that anymore! And she did such a thorough job, it was great!The price I paid for all that was well worth it. Used to come here all the time, but they have changed.  My last visit was so awful that after 10 years of loyalty I will not be coming back.  I called to make appointment for my mother and I for pedi/mani.  Spoke with Terry who I have been going to for 10 years, and she said they could take us before our movie. When I got there she did not honor my appointment and said to another employee that I expect her to drop everything and have four people come work on my mother and I at the same time, so I left.  Years ago it really was difficult to find someone who could do a nice nail job, but let me tell you that is certainly not the case now!  Oh yeah, and every place nowadays lets you tip on the card!  Terri needs to learn how to be nice to her customers and wipe that poo-poo look off her face. Love love my gel mani done by Terry! I went in to remove my acrylics and she pointed out that the previous nail salon drilled too much in my nail so when she paints over with gel it will be uneven. Terry put so much time and effort into making my gel mani look more even! I also loved that she painted the gel super close to my cuticles! Many other places leave like a gap. Read Less

Randomly found this place and so happy I did!! I've struggled to find someone who can do a good a proper almond shaped nail without it being too round or stiletto like. They did an amazing job, I couldn't be happier, also the lady who did my pedicure did a great job too! Read Less

Mia did an amazing job with my nails. She was probably the best nail tech thats ever done my nails. She shaped it perfectly and my nails werent too thick either, just right to stay strong. I paid $36 for the nails plus gel. That was a lot to pay for the basic nails I got so I wonder how much they charge for design but I cant complain, I'm happy. $24 for the worst pedicure I've ever received. Don't go here for pedicures. EVER. They do a great job with manicures, but that's it. I called and made an appt for 2:30 and came ON TIME and wasn't seated in a spa chair until 2:45. But plenty of walk-ins for pedicures got seated AFTER I checked in. Superb customer service. They removed the gel nail polish from my toes with a nail drill. THEY DIDNT EVEN SOAK THEM IN ACETONE. While she was using the drill, she also managed to scrape off some skin. Not cool. She slapped on the nail polish and didn't clean up the polish that ended up on my cuticles. Not neat. My 7 year old niece could have done a better job. I still gave a tip because she provided SOME kind of service, but I would've given MUCH more had she actually done a good job. Consider it a parting gift because I will NEVER return to this place. I came here thinking I was going to a good nail place since I was around the area. The workers made my husband and I feel uncomfortable because they kept speaking in a different language and laughing. The lady that did my nails was pretty rude and did a terrible job with my gel nails. They didn't clean under my nails like other places I've been to do. It's been 5 days and I can already see all my cuticle that wasn't removed well. Will definitely not recommend this place nor come back! Read Less

I find it easier to ask for specialists that can speak English well, because I've had a lady misunderstand me and mess up my nails.However, this past week I asked the lady over the phone for someone that she recommends who speaks English and she suggested Mia.Mia was great. This place is busy but they get the job done, the service is awesome. Unless you have a fav technician you can walk in on a Saturday afternoon and not have to wait long at all!Amy did my manicure and she read my mind spot on. *TIP: BRING CASH. They do not allow tip through card and you have to go through their ATM. It says that it'll charge you a $1, but it really charges you a total of $2.50 (according to my bank statement).TERRY IS A BOSS! She is an expert on scheduling/pairing up her clients with nail technicians at the right time. I didn't have an appointment and told her I needed to be done in an hour for a dinner. I had to wait a little, but she was able to get my nails done on time! Let me just add that this was on a Friday late afternoon/early evening, before a long Memorial Day weekend, and they were a FULL HOUSE. Definitely pleasing!What I liked most about this salon is that their nail polishes are already paired up with the exact same color. This is a really good method for when clients want their nails on their hands and toes to have a perfect match. Other nail salons I have visited have to go through the trouble of finding colors that are somewhat similar, and sometimes it won't even turn out to be close in color in the end. Now I don't have to worry about picking what color I want for my toes lol.The ladies that did my nails were super friendly. My nails were carefully crafted in the most neat, clean, and fast way - really great job (very satisfied!) I also appreciated the fact that they tried having a conversation with me while working on my nails.Even though this place is ALWAYS busy, I would definitely come back again. They are so accommodating. They close at 7p.m., but I've gotten there at 7p.m. and they still let me in. Someone stays to do my nails, even though they're closing. They always fit me in, even sometimes at the last minute. The parking is readily available, and that puts me at ease. If I tell them I'm in a hurry, they will make sure the whole thing is done within an hour. The whole staff there is amazing. Most people choose one person that they like and stick with her. I used to do that and I decided that if she wasn't available, I would still want to try one of the others. So now I've had all of the ladies do my nails and they all bring something unique to the table. I like different things and each of them can pull off the funky designs I request.
