I am so irritated I choose one color it doesn't work, so they redo yet make my cuticles bleed and now this pedicure lasts only 3 days and two nails are already gone/ off and paid for gel which should last up to two weeks so this wouldn't happen this is ridiculous and horrible I HIGHLY suggest anywhere else! I'm not going to Paradise Nails again. I've been 6 times, and 3 of those times were horrible experiences. Once I went to get my eyebrows waxed and the lady was holding her cell phone with one hand and talking on it the entire time she was attempting to wax my eyebrows. Another time my pedicurist rolled my pant legs down after my pedicure but before I had walked over to the drying lights. When I stood up, the edges of my pants touched my toes and ruined the entire paint job. She hastily tried to fix the mess (another client was waiting by that time) and it looked horrible. The third time, my pedicure felt like I was getting my toenails removed she was being so brutally rough. My vibrating chair wasn't working. Very basic typical Asian bare bones nail salon. Not sure they actually autoclave the instruments, as the packages weren't even sealed. Poor quality polish selection and cheap lotions. Manicure looks mediocre. Very nice pedi massage though. And Tracy was sweet.Read Less

I love this place for acrylic nails from one woman. cindy is great. I just found a new woman who does acrylic nails here too and they were amazing! it's been 3 weeks and they're still on! But---- DONT EVER GET A WAX HERE. They do a horrible job and miss a ton of spots. too bad I went on vacation the next day or I would have made her fix it. $60.00 down the drain for that wax.Read Less

This review is based strictly off of cleanliness.  I am honestly not sure why the health department has not shut this place down. First there's the tools. They do not sanitize their instruments! The lady pulled them out of a dirty plastic box! Literally went home and scrubbed by toes, as they even felt dirty driving home! Then there's the staff. The lady doing my pedicure was very aggressive and I had to say "Ow you're hurting me" multiple times. Not only that, my pedicure only took about 20 minutes she was going SO fast. Sure they were friendly, but who cares when all your worried about is how you're probably going to get a staph infection! I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Terrible. The owner only cares about getting everyone in like cattle so she can make money. Do not care about their clients with appts. I went in with an appt made a week in advance. I waited 25 minutes, watching my person work on a person that looked like she just started. She then took me and started me and left to finish working on the other person. When I was finally done, I discovered she left half of one nail unpolished. I had to call her to fix it. There went more time. Very sloppy job. I ended up being almost 3 hrs. My time is valuable to put up with people who could care less about those of us that make appts. They also do not listen when you tell them what you need. Read Less

Don't go here! I took my 7 yr old niece for a Mani Pedi day with me and it was 73.00! We went on Sat Feb 20th, 2016. For her, they painted her fingernails, did a micro-mini pedi massage and painted her toes. No skin clipping at all, and it was 25.00! It took all of 20 min! I have been here many times. All the techs are very thorough, kind and professional. Helen is great! My only wish is that they kept a more updated assortment of OPI polish. My favorite. They are always busy and yet get me in without a long wait. The massage chairs are nice too! Read Less

I really hate doing this, but I need to. I recently went to get fillings in for my acrylic nails. I was excited and I left disappointed. Usually when I go here the lady does a great job, but this time another lady did my nails and she ended up cutting me on almost all my fingers on my hands. It burned a lot. Also the fillings were horrible. I have a bubble in my left index finger nail. Some of my cuticle was cut off too... Sloppy work.  They don't allow any time in between coats for the previous coat to dry.  The sides aren't coated.  Polish on my cuticle.  My manicure didn't even last 1 day.  I hate it when someone is clipping away at my cuticle while looking and talking to someone in Vietnamese to her left. I arrived without an appointment at 4:10 to 4 ladies working and 5 ladies getting manicures/pedicures, and I waited for about 15 min which wasn't a problem. I chose to get just a color change with no trimming or filing. The lady was very rushed and did not say a word to me. As she was doing my nails she got polish on my skin around every nail, but she cleaned that up before the top coat (although she could still do some more cleaning up). There are many tiny tiny bubbles in my polish on every single nail, and the polish is on top of my cuticle on 2 nails. I did ask her to fix a few things (like an unpainted gap on the side of my nail ect.), but I am still not satisfied with her work. I would never recommend this place to a friend, unless they are looking for a last minute, inexpensive, and fast mani/pedi.Edit: I forgot to add that the top and base coats were definitely not opi even though the bottle said they were. The base and top coat they used were in the same bottle, AND the bottle was for normal opi polish, NOT a natural nail base coat or top coat.Two days later: my polish is chopped on every nail and there are cracks + lifting on 2 nails. Awful! My pedicure was chipping within a couple of days. My full set was atrocious! They were so thick and uneven...even the file job was done poorly. They are always busy which is so surprising. I found a "shoppe" in Carmel-by-the-Sea that I have been very happy with. Avoid this place!!! Read Less

I had a pedi and hubby had a mani. I agree with prior reviews that the staff pays little attention to the customers and chat amongst themselves.  Be sure to pay attention to what service they are supposed to do vs what they actually do and point out what they are not doing. Trim cuticles, buff nails, massage, they tend to skip it..We will not return. Read Less

I don't make much money but I do splurge to look nice and get my nails done I always stick with French tips but I felt spontaneous and getting color. I went to this location with high hopes but I was so dissatisfied. My nails on the sides were not painted all the way and then I told the workers there and they seemed to give me such attitude. I also hate that I couldn't get my point across because they couldn't or chosenot understand me. I give them a 2 star because they tried to fix the situation as best as they could I guess. I love this place.  Fast.  I can always get an appointment for manicure/pedicure at the same time.  I am a regular.  I just go with whomever is free.  They do a great job, I am never disappointed, and I have never been there longer than an hour and 15 minutes, which means a lot to me since I am really busy.  Even though not all of them speak English, they are really, really nice.  Just ask another lady to translate for you if necessary.  It isn't a five star salon experience, but it is faster and the end result is the same.  Oh, and the chairs are comfy too.I also never have a hard time getting appointments to go with friends and sit next to each other, which almost always happens at other places.  The availability is awesome.
