Went to this beauty bar on a whim. I bought a Groupon for a Brazilian for $19 not bad at all. Service was very fast and efficient. Rooms are fairly sanitary and neat. She didn't talk to me as much as others do but I guess that's not part of the job. Would definitely return to this place in the future. Interior design is very cute! I was blown away by my whole experience at Sweet Cheeks. Right when you walk in, there is such a good vibe and there is a really cute boutique shop in the front. They have so many cute novelty gifts, beauty products and clothes, I was definitely impressed by the selection. The lounge area was nicely decorated and super cute. All of the employees were super friendly and I felt comfortable.For facials, I am used to going to my usual Asian places down in Kearney Mesa. But I feel like this place will be my good to place! My facial was done by Amanda and I love that she took the time to assess my skin and see what I really need. I have been a religious K-beauty skincare routine freak for years, so I appreciate any new, customized skin care information that can help me up my skincare game.The facial was top notch and I was relaxed through the whole experience. Oh man. Why haven't I been coming here all along? I liked my other gal I used to see, but they are SO thorough here! I didn't have any reactions to the wax, they were clean, quick, and got it all! I love coming here. It is super cute and the staff is always great. My husband and I mainly go for the massages because Stoli is the bomb! The only down side is that for some reason there is a lot of re-scheduling that happens and we often have to move our appointments to a different day last minute. Recent weather fluctuations has left me with a few skin issues and since I recently moved to the area, I was on a hunt for a good esthetician. Sweet Cheeks has great reviews on Yelp so I decided to try them out, a decision made even sweeter by the $30 for $50 voucher available for purchase via Yelp!I made an appointment online and booked a custom facial. Parking is street (don't park in the alley behind- they tow) and fairly easy to find. The lobby of the salon is beautiful!! Kitschy-cute furniture and tons of adorable merchandise to peruse while you wait.I requested Deanna for my facial and would definitely recommend her! She made sure to get a full history of my skin (skin type, skincare ritual, etc) before we started. The facial is $70 for 50 minutes and she utilized each moment. If I was masking or marinating in whatever magic goo she put on my face, she was massaging my neck or shoulders or arms. Her facial massage was really great too! I was a little wary of the extractions since she does them by hand. They were definitely a little painful but she did a great job and my pores look cleaner and smaller! I absolutely love this shop! From the first time I walked in I was greeted and treated with some of the best customer service I have ever had. Danni at the from desk was so sweet and knowledgeable about products and all services available. I go see Leili for my facials and she is just an absolute gem! I have never felt so relaxed while getting a facial. I also get a Brazilian regularly and I was so nervous at first. Let me tell you, it may be awkward for the first 10 seconds but all the girls are so nice and make you feel completely comfortable for the service. It was a pleasure to meet the owner Dusti and she really does love what she does. The shop is very clean and the waiting area doubles as a boutique with lots of cute clothes, nik naks, and just the most amazing soaps lotions and skin care items. It is definitely worth every penny! I usually go to the place by my house to get a Brazilian but decided to try this place out since it's by my work and figured I can do it on my lunch break. I'm glad I decided that because it was pleasant as a Brazilian can get for anyone. This place is kind of hard to notice but it's there in Carlsbad, and it's a cute little shop with lots of pretty things in there. From soaps to beauty products, it made me feel girlier being there since well, I have a hard time being too girly these days. I was checked in, in a matter of minutes and sat down in their cute waiting area. Dusti did my brazilian and she was really great with explaining on what she's going to do next. I was a bit iffy or not having anything cover me while I wait but that's ok. I liked that she didn't double dip the sticks into the wax and was quick about it. She distracted me and explained to me what are she'll cover next. I got my brazilian in less than 10 minutes.When I checked in to pay, I noticed that i get a free lavender body butter but since they were out, Dusti gave me a full size vitamin oil for my face that was worth about $50. She was generous and didn't mind handing it off to me. I've been using it for a week now and my skin looks great. I plan to be a regular at this place now, my experience here was very pleasant!
