This is a great group of talented ladies here at Suzie's.  They all show how much they love what they do and how much they want to take care of you.  Suzie is the owner and is always very warm and welcoming.  She is very professional and takes great care of her business.  She has given me a facial and has waxed my eye brows a couple times using coffee wax.  The wax is great and helps reduce inflammation.  Suzie does an excellent job both with shaping my brows and providing a facial.  She is very knowledgable.  I also get my nails done by Kathy and Ana.  They are both the sweetest ladies.  They do a wonderful job every time!  I've had my nail fall off and my big toe nails crack and they fix them each time.  The first time I came to the Salon was to see Jee for eyelash extensions and I was referred to her.  She did an amazing job!  It was my first time getting eyelash extensions and she really talks to you before she starts to make sure she gets what you want.  Jee just like all the other ladies there is very friendly and is awesome!  I don't have to wait much but when I see the other customers that come through they are returning customers and also just as happy with the treatment they receive. Been coming here for years. They recently moved to 2217 S. BASCOM, Campbell, a few months ago. Suzie Skin Care, NOW at 2217 S. Bascom Ave in Campbell, is the best! They have everything you could need for skin, nails, and hair. They even have a doctor of acupunture! Kathy and Anna who do nails do a fabulous job on design, service, and general health of your nails. I had been looking for a good manicurist for quite some time when I happened to walk by their new office, which is right next door to where I live. What a great find. They took me as a walk in, although, that, I think, is becoming more difficult because they are busy...so book ahead. Everyone in the salon is welcoming, kind, and accommodating. From the moment you walk in and are greeted you feel like people care about you. The decor is simple but elegant. The atmosphere is comforting.I have a beef with YELP, though, when Suzie tried to get them to change their address in YELP's system, she was told she would have to pay for that...seems slimy to me and unfair. I've been coming to this salon for many years now. It recently moved to a new location in Campbell - so I followed them. It is certainly worth it! They do such a great job with manicures and pedicures. Recently, I have been getting the shellac manicure. Came out of the salon crying and immediately had to go to another salon the same day to fix what this woman did to my hair. It was like a scene out of a movie!Came in for a cut and color by a stylist who's name starts with an M I believe (only two people that cut hair there) I basically asked for an all over color and ended up with highlights. Seriously. She kept tooting her own horn and wouldn't stop trying to sell me their products. Haircut was alright, she only spent like 5 min on that part. I have many friends that I have recommended to Suzie over the years and every single one of us are thrilled. She is the skin care and eyebrow guru and is some where in-between an Esthetician and a Doctor. Koreans are known for all things skin care and Suzie is no exception to this rule. Got eyelash extensions here last week & within hours my eyelids were bright red & puffed up like two marshmallows. I called back asking for help and was told to leave a message. I did, and got no call back. After a few more attempts I finally spoke with the girl who did the extensions and all she said was for me to get them removed. *duh* By that time, I had already taken them off. It's now been almost a week and my eyes STILL look horrible! The swelling is not quite as bad, but my skin has developed this strange rash looking texture above both of my eyes. I'm afraid to wear makeup as I don't want to irritate the skin any further, but it looks so horrible without makeup that I've quarantined myself indoors since this started. I have been a client of "Suzie's" for over 12 years and I have never been disappointed in her services.  My eyebrows have never looked as good as when Suzie works her magic.Anna works wonders on my pedi's, I love her.  My toe nails work great for at least 4 weeks and never ONCE has the color chipped and the only reason I get them redone is because my nails have grown.CYNTHIA...my hairdressing saviour...I LOVE THIS WOMAN...I have NEVER had a bad color or hair cut from her.  As with everyone else at Suzie's she is very personable, patient and the one thing that bugs me to no end is most hairdressers are too rushed, Cynthia never rushes, she meticulous and since I hate the color RED in my hair, she takes great pains in making sure that I'm happy always.  I have highlights done through the summer months and I LOVE the color that she blends just for me. I have been going here for about 7-8 years now! I go here for my manicures, pedicures, facials and waxing! The ladies that do the manicures and pedicures here are so sweet and amazing! I NEVER feel like they're rushing to finish my nails just so they can move on to the next client. They always take their time and offer me beverages. The prices for manicures and pedicures are amazing here! Kathy is the lady who I most of the time go to (even though they're all amazing). I have in the past referred my friends there and they ended up loving it and continuing to go there.I go every three weeks for waxing my eyebrows and more. This place is different than any other eyebrow waxing place I have been too. They work on shaping and training your eyebrows. This is a good place if you need your eyebrows to be shaped or have fine hair eyebrows, they work miracles! They also have different types of waxes if your skin is sensitive. When I first came here I had a horrible eyebrow shape and overtime they helped me find my natural shape and grow them out as thick as I want them to be. I had purchased the $35 hair cut + oil treatment from Groupon. Before I talk about the salon, I want to let you know my fear of salons. I have fine curly/wavy hair and haunted by $15 haircuts. When I asked for a trim, they chopped like 2-4 inches and they always straighten if afterwards (which I hate because I have so little hair it makes my face look super huge). I have given up on salons and pretty much cut my own hair for the pass couple of years. I decided to try out this Groupon as a little birthday present to myself.The receptionist and who I later found out to be Suzie, the owner, was very nice to me when I arrived. The hairdresser (I can remember her name, but she was blonde and a little on the older) was a little off pudding. I can't really tell you why. Some about the way she acted when she found out I had a Groupon. I was hoping she would be able to give me advice how to cut my hair that was chin to shoulder length, but I didn't really get much. So I told her I wanted layers to bring out the fullness of my curls and slim my face and side swept bangs and keep the length and she did that. In my experience of hairdressers always trim way too much, I was shocked. It didn't look much different than from when I had went in, but the curls did curl much nicer when she cut it. For $35, it was pretty good. If I had to pay full price for a trim and oil treatment, I don't think I would. If I am going to shell out $100 I want to look different and love the way I look. I did tip her 20% off the original price and she seemed to be nicer, which makes me wonder.The owner and front desk person were really nice. They didn't treat me any differently because I was a Groupon of that fact I had to walk in the rain to the salon because my car was in the shop. They even offered me 50% off a facial but the place is really expensive. Most of their clientele are wives of guys who run start up companies. Ladies who have money and like to get quality mani pedi and facials every week. Buying the 1.7 oz Lancôme Génifique for $102 is already a splurge for me, so a $100+ facial is kind of out of the question. If you have the money, it's a pretty nice place. You could make a day of if it and get your nails done, get a massage and facial. I am still on the hunt for a real curly hair guru because I feel my hair cut is really cookie cutter. I feel my hair could look better if someone who really knew fine curly hair cut it to flatter my square face. I would pay big bucks for that in a heartbeat. I probably will go back and try what they have to offer if I get a higher paying job in the future. Read Less

I had a Groupon here for a glycolic peel.I called to make an appointment, and was able to get in the same day.  The receptionist was very pleasant and at least 3 people made sure I was comfortable waiting for my aestethician.  It was a quick in and out service.  Not a glamourous facial, but I was totally OK with that.  I am glad I only paid the Groupon amount.My facialist was great, and the facial didn't burn much at all (I have had a lot of them so I do have a tolerance).  My face felt amazing afterwards.I would go back at a discounted price, but would never pay full price here. $35 groupon: paradise pedi and mani... not a bad deal considering the paradise pedi is normally $42.The paradise pedicure is a bit over the top though. Here's how groupon describes it:"During the Paradise pedicure, nimble nail technicians soften up rugged soles with an exfoliating scrub, a moisturizing paraffin wax, and viewings of documentaries about orphaned children before melting down tension with a hot-stone massage."Sticking my feet in a plastic bag with melted wax was a pretty cool experience.  Kinda reminded me of S&M clubs where people pour hot wax over each other..... feels kinda good.... hahahha. :XAnyway....My nail tech, Kim, is so nice. Very attentive to my needs. She asked me if I wanted a magazine or a tea refill (the free passion fruit tea was yums).  She did a great job massaging my legs and feet.  Felt great after running a half marathon 4 days prior.Suzie's Beauty Center is a very clean and beautiful salon.  The pedicure station is very modern and colorful with pillows everywhere, so it's very comfy too.  The nail bar is literally a bar.  Pretty cool, but got my mani over at the pedicure station, so I didn't really get a chance to sit at the bar. Overall, good experience for the Groupon price. I definitely felt pampered but would not pay regular price for it.My ONLY GRIPE is that I had to make an appointment about 2 weeks in advance.  I guess they're THAT busy?  Especially right around the time when I first bought the groupon.... i didn't get to use it until 3 months later..... Bought services through Groupon ($28 for basic mani & paradise pedi) and used the coupon this past weekend 10/1/11. We started on my nails first and because I am pregnant they did not want me sitting at the nail bar, which was understandable, so I sat on chair on the side and had my nails done. Next we moved over to the pedi station and this is where I noticed the same lady doing my nails was rushing through my pedi. There were people at the pedi station while I was getting my nails done, the lady was catching up to everyone else who had been sitting there for a while. So I asked her 3 times is if she could please scrub the bottom of my feet better because she had spent maybe about 2mins scrubbing (now being pregnant and only able to wear flip flops, I need a bit more time scrubbing). She then had the look that she didn't understand me so I asked her if she could slow it down a bit that she's going too fast and I asked her if she was in a hurry cause she's catching up to everyone else. She then told me that everyone was on a different pay scale and that I have a Groupon. So she told me that because I pad for a Groupon that I couldn't get the same Paradise pedi that the full price paying customers were getting. We then got into it, she rolled her eyes and rushed through the rest of the service. She got no tip for her bad services and I will never go there again and will definitely not recommend that place to anyone. And to top it off it's Monday and I have a chipped nail. Read Less

-The nail techs are Incredibly nice! - Location is clean and autoclave is used- The place is terribly expensive - and cheap top coat = bad nail job! I went in Thursday w/ no appointment but taken anyway. I fell in love w/ my nail tech she has amazing customer service and incredibly friendly. She always asked how what and where I wanted things. She really cleaned up my cuticles pretty good, and massaged really well. The color job was far from sloppy but yet still lack luster. I blamed it on the color I selected. But really I think they use a crappy top coat. My pedicure lasted until Saturday night, my nails started chipping :( Same problem w/ my manicure, cuticles were great, polish was lack luster and my nails chipped that same night :( I would have loved to give a better review, but I've stayed loyal at places that have great food and crappy service.... after all food is what I'm there for. So I'd expect great nails, since that's what I'm there for. I guess the only good thing I can say about this place is that I left with a new best friend! lol Waaay too expensive for what it is. My mom decided to buy me a groupon for this place.  This included the basic mani and the paradise pedi.  I am so glad she did because this place is amazing.  They also have OPI and ESSiE nail polish.  It seems like they're updated with the new nail colors because they had the new OPI crackle polish.I love how small and cute the place is.  It's very personal.  I had Ha, I believe.. she called me by my name the entire time.  She was friendly and funny.  She commented on my purse and even tried it on when she moved me from the mani to the pedi station.  I thought it was cute.  She also took very good care of my nails.  She wasn't aggressive at all.  I felt pampered.I definitely recommend the paradise pedicure.  It's $45, but well worth it.  I can see myself paying for the whole thing next time.  The soak was nice, the massage was perfect, and they wrap your feet in hot wax!  AMAZING!  It was about an hour and a half of pure pleasure.YES to this place.  I'll back for you. As a designer in Silicon Valley, I am extremely particular about the way I want my eyebrows shaped, the way my legs are waxed, the way my make-up is applied and the way my pedicure is done. I simply don't let anyone touch me if I don't trust them. To date, no one I know matches Suzie and her dedicated staff in terms of quality, professionalism and expertise. With their warm, welcoming and clean environment, Suzie's Skin Center might as well be called a ""clinic"". I've witnessed Suzie personally clean all her counters and equipment with alcohol between clients so I know I can trust the high-level quality care I get - hands down. I've been a client of Suzie's for over 10 years and for the past 5 years I've bee driving over the hill from Santa Cruz because I simply can't get the same experience anywhere else. Having all services under one roof saves time: in addition to electrolysis, micro-dermabrasion, permanent make-up and facials, they carry professional product lines such as Jan Marini and G.M.
