Sam is great! She has been my hair stylist for 16 years. I moved out of the Bay Area over ten years ago and I still make the hour plus drive to see her when I need my hair cut and highlight. She is very good at cutting hair and also coloring. If you tell her what you want she will do it. She is also very flexible with appointments since you are dealing directly with her and not a receptionist. Her prices are very reasonable and to go somewhere else and pay more is a waste of money (even considering my commute time/gas). From time to time I have tried stylists in my area, but they never measure up to Sam. I definitely recommend her. Read Less

I've been going to Sam for years off and on.... I only try other hairstylists when I see my friends with cool haircuts, however I cannot justify paying 75 bucks for a haircut when Sam does it for way cheaper.. She does great layers as long as you tell her what you want... and specify whether you want a razor cut or scissors.  My friends always say they like my cuts, layers and its good to know I don't have to pay an arm and a leg for it.
