My daughter's and I came here for the first time today to get pedicures. The ladies seemed polite and efficient but the similarities end there. The woman who was doing my pedicure was more concerned about the lady who came in 10 minutes after we did, she was a 'regular' So much so that she skipped my massage, and skimped on the callous removal which was included in the idientical pedicure I watched my daughter receive next to me. Katie did a fabulous job on the two pedicures my girls got. I have no idea what my lady's name was as she didn't answer me when I asked her any questions. I will ask for Katie IF we do return. I am super picky about my nails. I hate when they don't paint the entire nail, or get the polish in my cuticles. I called the same day as getting an appointment and the entire staff was very friendly. I saw Kim for Powder Gel and she did an amazing and efficient job. I've recently started going to Sassy Nails in Cameron Park for gel manicures because they are open on Sunday and that seems to be the only day I have available to do my nails (Sassy Nails in Placerville is closed on Sunday).  Katie has done my nails the past three visits and I am happy with her work.  She pays attention to details and the end result is quite nice.   She suggested that I add a glitter polish to my nail tips to strengthen them (no additional charge and it is really helping!) and I like that she makes recommendations that ultimately make me a happier customer.   Only four stars because I haven't had a pedicure yet - hopefully soon. We were expecting it be more professional. I asked one of the ladies in there that seemed to be in charge to see if she could fix one of the nails that had lines in it from the other nail lady messing it up and the lady responded with, "Dont ask me you have to ask the lady who did it." And then proceeded to laugh at the end. We asked to see if they could do the ombré they said yes, but when my friend ask for it again the lady didn't seem to know what she was talking about so other workers explain what it was and ended up doing this... I recently moved here to Cameron park and was looking for a place I can regularly have my nails done. I found this location on my way to picking up my boys from school on 9-14-15 and asked if they had time to do a full set in 45 minutes. The lady said "Yes, sit down right now we will do it now"  she then had a man come over and start doing my nails. an hour later he said "Ok you done" he charged me 22 dollars then an extra 5 dollar charge for only painting the tips. I was OK with it until I went outside into the light. my nails were put on cricked and nail polish was all over my fingers and back side of my hand. It looked like my child tried to do my nails. each nail was cut a different size and to top it all off instead of coloring the tips and having the bottom half of my nails clear, he put pink clear polish under the color. It looked horrible. Even my children thought they were bad (and they love everything) Now that is not even the half of my complaint and why I am doing this yelp review..... I called the place and spoke with the owner that said "here talk to the guy that did it" and the man gets on the phone and tells me to come back in the morning between 9:15 and 9:30. So this morning at 9:30 I came in to the nail place and asked for someone to fix my nails. A little thin girl that was reading a magazine told me "in order to get my nails fixed I would have to wait for the man that messed them up to come into work and fix them. I HAD TO WAIT FOR THE MAN THAT MESSED UP MY NAILS TO COME BACK IN AND MESS THEM UP AGAIN... first off, how dare you tell me to wait longer when I paid for the service the day before, second off if you wanted to keep my service you may have WANTED to make sure I was happy so I would come back on a regular basis. I was very unhappy with this service and I will be speaking with my credit card company to dispute the charges. I ended up leaving Sassy nails unhappy for the second time and finding a new nail place. I now go to Tips and Toes down the street, they were more then happy to fix your mistakes and only charge me a small amount and received the tip you could have had along with an extra tip for the kindness of that staff... if you are looking for a great nail place ... go to Tips and Toes at the cambridge light about a block up the street. Horrible. Went for a full set and wanted white polish with red on the ring finger. Halfway through I asked if I could get red on my ring finger and thumb, she said "no I'll give you polka dots on your thumb" then charged me for the design I didn't want in the first place. This is the first time my wife and I went to Sassy Nails for pedicures. On first impression, the place is kind of rundown, with older equipment and not all that clean. The saving grace here is the prices are extremely reasonable. The lady that did my Sassy pedicure, nails, callous removal, not sure what this is called, but has a rough texture to remove dead skin from feet and calves, hot wax, and lotion rubdown for me, basic pedicure for my wife for a total of $49 for both plus a $5 tip for each lady. At another place, it would have been at least $50-60 just for me. It's in Cameron Park, so it's not too far of a drive for us. We'll probably go back again as there is an old school barbershop next door, so I can go get a hair cut while my wife is waiting for her nails to dry. Update: 8/5/2015 My wife keeps having problems with her feet after going here. She finally used an Epsom salt foot bath and it relieved a lot of her problems. She has problems with the toe nail polish chipping also. She also thinks they reuse their hot wax as she saw them take the used bags to the back instead of throwing them away. So, apparently, we're not going back anytime soon. However, if you do go, ask for Kim, a slightly older Vietnamese lady. I like the work she does on my feet. Read Less

Acrylic glitter nails? Look no where else. Lots of selection! I mean I looked at many salons from Folsom to Cameron Park. I was so disappointed at the lack of selection before I stopped at Sassy. Others were just so boring and plain. I need bling. The only bummer for me is to remember to bring cash for a tip when I am not a cash carrier. Read Less

I have gone to many places and I always end up back here. My favorite person to have to my nails is Jason but john does a great job as well. They don't life or come off and they always look great. I tend to not be as satisfied when one of the ladies does them though. I'm pretty picky on the shape and thickness. Staff is always friendly and remembers who you are once you've been in a few times. I am being a little nice with 4 stars, but the employees were really friendly and did a great job on my pedicure. Im kind of weird about germs and noticed something that grossed me out... The employee had handled my feet while wearing gloves and left for a second so a prior customer could pay. They wore their gloves that entire time they were handling the cash and came over to me to continue with my pedicure with the same gloves. Not only that, they finished my pedi and wore the same gloves while touching up some polish on my friends toes... We have clean feet, but it makes me wonder if I now have dead skin cells from numerous amounts of other people embedded in my soles. My friends foot bath had particles floating in it as well when they were filling it up. Clean otherwise, not a long wait if you pop in without an appointment, and you get a pretty relaxing pedicure for $25. Bring cash to tip, because I couldn't tip off my debit and kind of felt like a bitch. Read Less

I have been here three times and two out of three the nails were done well, but all three times the simple art I chose was crap! The prices are good and they are friendly, but if like art I don't recommend.  I will keep going for nails hut will def go somewhere else for the art Read Less

Its not bad. This is my second time here with my friend. We haven't had a bad experience. Not bad for a girls day out. Get your nails done then get amazing pizza next door. This place is very small though. It can be hard to find parking sometimes if other businesses get busy since It's in the same parking/shopping center as Valero gas. They have lots of cute colors and cute designs, which is awesome because I don't do the same color twice. They have so many different colors and shades.
