Gorgeous salon. I walked in, stunned at how pretty this place is. It took a few minutes to be acknowledged. The front desk clerk was super sweet. They ran,15 minutes, which was fine. The girl I had was nice, I forget her name, but she kind of seemed annoyed to make small talk. They have a lot color options. The girl did a good job buffing my nails and shaping, she listened to me for sure. She didn't quite do what I asked for the design after bragging it was so easy. On top of it, it cost $45 for a fill with gel and a design. I guess you are paying for the rent of the building? On top of it, the polish is already cracking on my nails. I visited Y2 Nail Bar last Thursday for the first time. I got a classic manicure with Maria and was very impressed. She was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I was (and still am) very happy with the way my manicure turned out. It has been about 5 days, and the polish still looks really good. I usually end up taking off my polish after a couple days because it gets chipped, but not this time. I was so happy with my manicure that I went back to see Maria on Saturday for a pedicure. I get ingrown toenails, and my feet are sensitive, so I am really choosy about who does my pedicures. I am so glad I met Maria. She knows how to train toenails to grow properly without cutting down the sides, which is usually anywhere from uncomfortable to painful. Maria didn't hurt me at all. My toes starting feeling better as she was working on them. It has been a couple days since my pedicure, and my toes (and fingers) look and feel great. Read Less

If you are looking for a great nail salon you need look no further. I love their system in that you can book online, cancel online, and pay with a card that gives you options for tipping including a custom tip. This professionalism is a welcome relief from nail places where you must either pay in cash, tip in cash or both. That professionalism extends to their operators. My nails have never looked better. I get hard gels which require skills. Kristen does mine and she has skills. I use Nicole for pedicures and my pedicures last for weeks. Today was my first visit to Y2 and I am HOOKED. I took my mom for a girl's day and we both got spa pedicures - so relaxing, and our nails turned out perfect. We were so well-taken care of from start to finish, and Tyla was so much fun and Erica was sweet and attentive. They both have an impeccable eye for detail and take great pride in what they do. The salon is clean, beautifully decorated, and feels like a chic escape right in Camarillo.Also a huge shoutout to Y2 for using sterile/disposable equipment - I've been to so many salons in Ventura County and am alway sad at how rare that is. Jing is simply amazing at what she does, very personable & has a sense of humor. She went beyond my expectations!! When my #1 spit is booked, I like to try new nail spots. I've actually been on the hunt for another option that compares to my favorite spot, and I think I've found it in Y2 Nail Bar. It has many features that I look for. Friendly staff, clean& posh environment, and a lot of nail color options. But something I liked even better was that it opens at 8am!!! This was music to my ears. Any mom who needs to get stuff done right after dropping your kids off at school knows that it's nearly impossible to do anything other than grocery shop. Super frustrating. I am so excited to have found a salon that is open so early.So let's get to it- Nicole did my manicure and pedicure. I got gel on my hands and regular polish on my toes. She was gentle and got the job done quickly, but I never felt rushed. She was sweet, gave me her input on color choices and recommended I try a hologram polish for my daughter's unicorn party that is super cool. I love it! This place does an AMAZING job! I live two hours away and would drive out here any day to get my nails done. They have everything you could think of when it comes to nails. This has to be my favorite place to come for mani/pedis. The girls here are super nice and really listen to what you want. I have had stephany my last few visits and she is just a gem. She takes very good care of her customers. Jing is AWESOME!! I have been going to her for over a year and I am never disappointed by her work. I found her after getting tired of bad customer service and mani and pedi's from typical nail salons with walk-ins. Because of her large clientele, you always need an appointment with her unless you get lucky and catch her without a client. She is so kind and friendly with all customers. And, if she makes any mistakes or if you accidentally smudge your nails she is happy to fix it. I love when I get my pedi because she cuts my ingrown toe nail which relieves so much pain. Jing always makes sure I am happy with my nails before I leave. Y2 nail techs are all very friendly and they make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. The worst manicure of my life. It was rushed and very painful. She kept slamming the instruments into my nail beds.No massage or scrub even though these were listed as part of the manicure. It was over in 15 minutes and still cost $35.Even worse almost all of my nails have broken since I got this manicure. That has never happened to me before.Never going back here. Read Less

I just had a pedicure with nail gels at another salon in town and they did a horrible job. I came to Y2 and the owner was very nice and helpful. She referred me to Nicole who basically redid my nails.  They were very informative and I could definitely see a difference in knowledge and ability.  My nails now look great and I will definitely return.  I also got a manicure with French tip gels and again another fantastic job!  Thank you - now I can go on vacation and I feel as though my nails will not chip and peel midway through.....By the way the owner was not just after my money! She told me that I should go back to the place that did a poor job and tell them to make it right.  I chose not to as I felt I might just get another piss poor attempt.  In my opinion this is another reason this salon is above and beyond... First time here today and it was a great experience! Stephanie did my mani/pedi and I have zero complaints. A little pricey but you get what you pay for. She was also very pleasant to talk to. The chairs were comfortable but the massaging ones would have been nice. Then I got waxed by Ilene (bikini brow lip), and it was the fastest, least painful waxing I've ever had! I love the hard wax she used. The job was thorough and my brows look amazing. She was very professional and made me feel totally comfortable. Best nail salon in Camarillo by far!! Their manicurists are talented and can paint literally anything on your nails - I've had American flags to snowflakes and everything in between. They all speak English & are super friendly. There's coffee, water & tea and even snacks. The decor is great & will make you feel like a princess which you should when you're being pampered! Y2 is so luxurious! It looks like a nail bar/beauty lounge that belongs in Beverly Hills. They have amazing nail artist and hair stylists but the biggest reason I come in is for the waxing. I have been going to Tiara Nails pretty much since they opened. I was never a nail polish type of person, but was going on vacation and decided to try tips and gel polish. Needless to say I never stopped going. I thoroughly enjoy the massage they give you every time you get your nails done or have a pedicure (they massage you while you are waiting for your toes to dry ). A step above all other nail salons! Pedicure with leg/foot massage with hot stones followed by a neck and shoulder massage while nails drying!!! And this was included in the basic pedicure!
