After reading the great reviews about Mario I decided to book an appointment for a cut and blow dry. I have only had a handful of hair dressers in my life, and moving also meant having to find a new one, so I had to take a chance. The salon sent automated texts to remind me of my appointment which I found thoughtful. The salon: it's very clean and has an east coast feeling with a brick interior. Receptionist is warm and friendly. I was offered a drink upon arrival, already loving this place. Mario was very thorough and took his time with cutting, which was great because I don't like when hair dressers rush services. Throughout the whole process we talked, he's great at active listening and intelligent, fun to talk to.One blow dry later and we're done - I got lots of compliments on my new look. This is probably one of the best haircuts I have ever gotten. I'm really happy to have taken this chance and will be returning. Mario is very humble and a very skilled hair dresser. Morgan gave me the best pedicure left me super silky already booked my next appt! She gave me the best foot scrub. She shaped my toes super cute! Not only did she do a really good job but she is super friendly! I hate going to salons where I sit there all awkwardly and here I felt at home ! I absolutely love the decor here at the loft! It's very trendy and I love the vibe! I followed my hairdresser Vanessa, who is one of the sweetest people I have met in California. She is incredibly talented and her prices are very reasonable.  I may be one of the only women who hates going to the salon as I much rather be outside or doing something fun, but since coming to Vanessa I actually don't mind it. She works fast and conversates just enough to past the time. She is truly a gem and I'm so happy to have her as my hairdresser. I'd follow her wherever she decides to do hair, but I really hope she stays at this fabulous salon in camarillo! Read Less

As a patron to it's hairdressers, I would not book any appointments online.I was disappointed when I booked an online appointment through this Yelp app & when I showed up they turned me away.I explained to them everything I went through to get the appointment and they did not care. I've always gotten my hair done the same way. I described to Blanca how I usually get it and how I'd like it different. She did it exactly how I wanted it. I've literally never been this satisfied with a cut and when you come in they offer tea, coffee, or water. I got it for $35. I always get a great haircut from Mario everytime I visit The Loft. The decor inside the salon is very relaxing, which goes along with all the friendly smiles from evryone who works at the Salon. When I arrive I am always asked if I would like any water, tea or coffee. Good people, good place, good service and a good haircut. Sounds good to me! Read Less
