Came here tonight since my daughter has 1.5 soccer practice down the street for a pedicure. I went to another salon 2 weeks ago and left very unsatisfied and felt like they rushed me out and did a subpar job... in as much as a day or two later my feet and nails looked old.  I had never stepped in here before and called ahead for an appointment... nothing luxurious but my objective was to have a good pedi and my heals scrubbed well. That is what I got! I melted away in my massage chair and the gentleman working in my feet really made me feel like he wanted to do a great job... and he did. He gently scrubbed away my heals, spent a great amount of time massaging my legs and feet and painted my toes perfectly. I am grateful I wasn't in a rush... because it took a long time but that's what I needed and wanted. Not a rush me out the door job! Their hours are posted till 7, but they still let people who just showed up come in after. I am very particular about the way I have my nails done. I must use SNS / Powder / dip gel, since it's made my nails so strong. While they DO have SNS, they do NOT do it correctly. I asked for a design, which you can see in my photographs. Not difficult, but I suppose not easy either. I added a star because the gentleman who worked on my nails was nice, and he did try to accommodate me. Unfortunately, his work is way below standards. These pictures were taken 10 days after I got my nails done.  -You can see they are chipping, cracking, and even raising on my nail. I work in an office, and don't do a lot which would damage my nails, so this is happening due to poor application. -The texture on the design is not smooth. It is very rough and even jagged, to the point that it was catching on my finer clothes. -On top of the SNS, he put a regular gel top. On top of SNS, you aren't supposed to put a UV coat - it doesn't stick. And you can see what I'm talking about in my photos. You can see the shiny gel starting the chip away at the tips. You can also see the way it started the crack across the designed nail. The people at this shop were nice, and I really wanted to like the work they did and FINALLY find a place worth bringing my nails to. Unfortunately, this place didn't make the cut for me, but I hope they work for other people. Read Less

Probably the best nail salon I've been to in camarillo. I recommend making an appointment with Katie- she really does an amazing job and takes her time to make sure your nails look great. I got the dip powder instead of gel and love the way it turned out. The only thing is I didn't get the hand massage with my manicure and I definitely would have loved it...but other than that the place is really clean and definitely an unexpected gem. Read Less

It was my first time going to this nail salon and I was NOT disappointed! Katie took her time with me and left my nails so nice and how I wanted them, even better! Decided to try this place today in hopes of getting ombré acrylics, well that's not what I got. The nice lady didn't know how to do ombré nails and didn't say anything. My nails look more like white tip with falling snow lol. I will not recommend this place. I wish she would have been honest with me and said she didn't know how to to them. There is a reason why this place consistently gets 5-star reviews, they are good!Katie does such a good job on my gel manicure, I don't go anywhere else anymore. She takes her time to gently remove the old gel and trims my cuticles in a way that they don't bleed. The gel polish lasts a good week and a half, sometimes two full weeks.The place is clean and the music is usually good, although it is always too loud. Read Less

I LOVE LOVE this place. Tom is good, but Katie is great (just kidding Tom). Katie's done most of my designs and nail sets. She's always accommodating whether I want pointy, square, short or my natural nails (I change it up almost every time). The shop is very friendly and they all have a good sense of humor. I always manage to come later in the evening and they still take their time with me. I'm usually the last one left. I've been going to them since I was a sophomore in college and I just recently graduated. I only trust Katie or Tom with my nails I'm very picky. Read Less

I love tom! He's very good and the rest of the staff is super sweet. First time I came he did my nails wonderful, second time I got a mani and pedi, he did my nails and another woman did my toes, she accidentally put gel when I asked for a pedi but Tom fixed it right away. Amazing!!! I fell in love with gel-dipped-powder method for my nails and it turns out this was the only place in Camarillo that has this service.  I've always had bad experiences with acrylic and the UV light gel colors ruining my nails and very messy to have removed.  So when I found this newer method of dipping your nails into gel-powder for color and I fell in love with it!! The removal method does include soaking but it rubs off with acetone easyily.  It seems as if my natural nails grow longer and stronger with this new method.Katie is the best at this application - great at attention to detail, cuticle cutting, and lotion massage.  The French Tip was the real test and she aced it!! The thing about this salon (pleasent valley nail salon) is, they don't clip off the old acrylic so every 3 fills Tom will pick at them and say " these are old" you need a new set! So every 3 fills a new full set! That's ridiculous!All the years of getting my nail done i feel like They take the lazy route. Theypaint on new acrilic over the old. I got a new full set of acrylics here after not having them for several months because they have always done a good job at a good price. But this time when I got home from the salon, I noticed that the nails were very loose and felt as though if I did simple tasks such as picking up my purse, that they would break. Tom also didn't put the nails down to my nail bed, straight out of the salon it looked like they had grown out for a week already. I am very cautious with my nails and the next day one of my nails was peeling off of my natural nail. I can't believe this because normally they last me a while. I was hoping to go back and have them fix it for me but I had to leave for an international trip. I was very disappointed in the service I got here this time and I wish I had time to go demand a refund..
