I only came because I was in the area/had a broken nail already. I'm gonna start by the only positive I experienced which was friendliness. I wasn't satisfied with my nails at all & I'm upset I'm such a pushover and didn't say more than I did.( I felt like I was already asking too much from them) when at the end of the day I am paying for this service. First of all she had to redo my thumb 3 times for whatever reason. They really had the audacity to tell me next time just get a fill because the full set took too long for them. My nails are uneven in my opinion and one finger is completely different shape than the rest. If I'm paying extra for the coffin shape I expect a nice shape, I'm not satisfied with this "coffin" same day and I already have some paint missing in my nails, they didn't put clear coat on the thumb she messed up on. I wouldn't comeback. At first I loved how my right hand looked but she just got sloppy. Some paint not even going all the way completely down and along side. I'm sitting on the message chair getting my normal French tip pedicure as I write this review. Let me just say that this is the best nail salon I've been to so far. The massages are relaxing and they use heated rocks! (Something I've never experienced before). The French tip is clean and beautiful and I'm hoping it lasts for at least a month like most of my French tips do so I'll keep you all updated. The cost for the pedicure was affordable (~$27) and the service was so friendly. They even let me sit on the message chair for a while longer to let my nails dry! I really enjoyed this mani pedi. It had the best massage chairs and my pedicure was beautiful. Prices were pretty average I usually expect to spend that much. I'm very particular about my manicures and so I never really like when anyone else besides me does them ( I play guitar and have to have them very short but I file them a certain way ALSO). **DO NOT GO HERE**Do not go here if you want the skin around your nails to be intact. I went to this nail salon because my usual nail salon was busy. All I needed was a fill and the woman was a butcher with her drill. She cut me 5 times and 1 time actually slipped the drill from her hand and cut across my index finger! I was seconds away from just getting up half way through and leaving not caring that my nails weren't finished. It was one of the most stressful, painful nail experiences I've ever had. This is my first time at this salon even though it is so close to my house. I'm so impressed! Came in for a fill/gel manicure. The place I got the full set done did a pretty bad job, my nails were super chunky. Vee fixed them up so nicely and they look so natural! She worked with me a lot and asked lots of questions about the shape and length throughout the manicure. I will definitely be coming back for her again. Out of all the places I've gotten my nails done at this has to be one of the worst experiences! The man who did my nails cut my pinky very short and I politely asked for the rest longer and he continued to keep cutting it. When it was time for the massage on my basic manicure he put his arm down next to mine and made a horrible comment about how fair skinned I am ( which is extremely unprofessional and racist!) I tried to brush it off but he kept going on about it and laughing out loud and I mean loud about it. To make it worse I asked for the gel top coat, which keep in mind is an upset for them with no effort in there part he looked at me and said no! I went to ask why cause they offer it on the giant service board behind him and he replied with it's no good. I said well I need it for my job or it's going to just come off and he again said no it's no good. I gave up his next client came in and he shooed me out of his chair and stuck me under the light which does nothing for regular polish in moving my stuff my thumb got nicked and he instead of redoing it just globbed polish over the spot so while it dried it has a lump and darker spot cause of it which looks ridiculous. I paid and tipped cause I work in a service industry too and I know that's how we make it but I feel like I just flushed that money down the drain cause I'll be getting them redone else where. Loved this place. First time there and it was a great experience. So many gel colors to choose from, was taken as soon as I walked in and Keith did an amazing job on my nails. Terrible customer service. Was ignored when I walked in (like usual), and that part doesn't bother me but when I finally was acknowledged, was told "We're too busy, come back later." The guy doing my nails handed me a price list and asked me what I wanted buy there was no description of what the prices included ranging from $23-$71+ just for pedicuresI wanted simple pedi with callus remover...by the time he pulled out the DIRTy dremel (yes) to scrape the stuff off my feet OUCH THEY WERE BURNING from the calua remover already and I told him he needed new tools. It took him another 10 min to replace dirty sand paper on dremel and get to work so disgusting! Then he scrubbed away with the scrubby soap bar. My feet are raw now. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE!Please don't waste your time, money or effort!This is the rudest nail salon I have ever, ever been to. It was the main woman that waited on me, I simply asked her to make the color even, she argued stating that skin was in the way when there was no skin at all. She left half of the top unpolished, therefore it looked horrible. After that she quit right in the middle  and said I'm not going to do it! She got up and stormed off like a little kid throwing a fit! I guess she got mad because she knew she was wrong!  When I first walked in, I was told to sit in the chair and was ignored for the next ten minutes. The chair she put me in was broken. One of the manicurist was shaving rotten skin off of someone's feet and skin was flying everywhere. It was so dirty and disgusting. I should have left right then and there. Please people this is a very dirty, rude nail salon don't waste your time here. I will never go back and I will tell all of my friends... and I know a lot of people in Camarillo... about this place! One of the worst experiences I've had at a nail salon & I've been getting mani/pedis for 20+ years. Only ended up here BC I was visiting a friend in town & the place she likes was too busy for us. First of all- the guy spoke almost none and understood  ZERO English. The strangest part; when it was clear he didn't understand me, he didn't ask one of the others to help him understand what I was saying. Weird. I asked for square-rounded and for him to cut the nails on one hand and just file on the other & he completely ignored me. I had to keep telling him what to do and he still did it wrong. He then over-filed my nails, like 6-8 times each hand, and once the polish was applied, sloppily by the way, it became clear that a couple of my nails still had rough edges. I'm really not sure how this could've happened. To make matters worse the technician was SO SLOW that the fancy hot towels they put over the paraffin dip on my feet turned cold, for at least 20-minutes before he finished the hack job on my hands. He cut my toenails so short that one bled and didn't even acknowledge it. The file job on my feet was uneven, and shotty, at best. He left chunks of paraffin under both my fingernails & toenails. I don't know what's up with their polish, or technique but I waited for 10 minutes+ with my hands under the dryer, and when I went to check if they were done the polish on my pinky SLID COMPLETELY OFF. I was already displeased with the shape/filing of my nails and when I approached him to discuss, after hunting him down in the back, (I guess they get off at 5?) he offered to fix it and started to take the polish off the ones I showed him as examples of why I wasn't pleased. I had already been there over 2 hours so I said, just take the polish completely off. I noticed when I got home that a few of my toes (which had upwards of 30-40 minutes to dry) had been ruined because the polish never completely dried. Old polish? Added acetone to stretch it? Applied hastily with no time to dry between coats and WAY too much topcoat? Who knows? Not me, and I have no interest in finding out. Complete waste of time and money. These technicians could care less about the integrity of your nails and the quality of their work. Clearly, I don't recommend coming here unless you're into being treated like cattle, into severe pain, or a sadist...Posted below is acrylic removal performed by prying off with nippers, and extremely painful, aggressive drilling. They can't soak them off (the proper way) because, "it takes too much time..." Attached are the end result. Pink, raw, sore nails for days.  Sanded down to practically the nerves. My usual place was booked today and I already had a couple of nails fall off so I wanted to get it taken care of before the weekend so I thought I would give this place a try. Despite all the bad reviews I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I asked the price to get a fill on my acrylic nails with gel polish, they were upfront that the cost would be $30. Came here with a bunch of ladies to prep for a wedding. Wish they would have more staff there as let them know in advance that we would have a group of 10 there. Great prices for groups as I paid $30 for a mani/pedi combo - also came with a free flower on a nail, but mine was very low quality compared to the other girls. I thought long and hard before lambasting this nail salon with an acrid review but it is important for the consumer to be aware of WHY the rating is so low. Needs improvement:1. Please sanitize your implements. Top rule of a good nail salon is clean equipments. I saw my technician and others around her reusing tools that did not look like they were sanitized. To her credit-- is I am typing this review and my nails (both hands and toes) seem OK, healthy and not infected.2. One of your nail technicians nicked my big toe when she cut my cuticle and I began bleeding... I understand that accidents happen but for goodness sake, it is MY toe-- I CAN feel pain. I don't think it was professional of the woman to pretend nothing happened... Apologize, apply some thing to stop the bleeding and move on. She did not apologize for her snafu... Fellow Yelpers, is this normal?3. I got a gel manicure and the color TURNED. As in I got a pretty soft pink and the color that I saw the next day on my thumbs were different (as in the color on my thumbs were paler, uneven, not homogenous, almost whitish) than some of my other fingernails. I suspect this is due to very old gel polish that separated (yes, I didn't know this was a thing before I got my nails done here).4. Oh, the pedicure chairs had massagers that were pretty weak-- I didn't factor that in as it's not the salon's fault that the massagers were so sad. But I want you to know in case that's a deal breaker for you.Now for the GREAT:1. My gel manicure (yes, with the partially uneven colors), lasted a full two weeks! No chips and I am happy how durable gel manicures are in general. $30 for the gel manicure.2. They took their time with my "VIP Pedicure" where they took off a lot of callus. I didn't even know I had such much callus to begin with. Their upsell to upgrade definitely worked with me. The pedicure was $45.3. I did not feel rushed at all and they helped me into pedicure sandals. 4.The women there were very nice and they took their time with me. I appreciate that. They gave me three coats of gel polish because two coats looked very translucent at the time. All in all,  I paid $75 before tips for my pedicure and gel manicure. I liked my nails overall, but due to the lady making me bleed and the uneven color on my gel manicure, I am hesitant to return and basically spend another $90 on something that is just ok, but does not make my heart sing.I do believe this place has potential though since the people at the salon were super nice to my people who were also there at the time. My first time here, I got the basic spa pedicure $20 , they have other pedicure packages that can go all the way to $45 that's the VIP pedicure package- I think I'll come back again:) happy to say. I'm new to the area, and thought I'd try this place out for gel a manicure. I should have checked the reviews, but a coworker told me they do a great job, so I didn't bother.I wasn't necessarily disappointed with the manicure; however, the man doing my nails, stopped in the middle of my manicure and sneezed INTO his hands. I thought surely he's going to get up and wash his hands before he picks my hands back up. Nope! He continues on like nothing happened. I should have been more assertive, but I was honestly so grossed out and dumb founded, I let it slide.He continues with my nails, and then pulls an already USED tissue out of his pocket, and blows his nose, and then shoves it back in his pocket. No hand washing again. He did this one more time, pulling the same used snot rag from his pocket, never washing his hands once. There are very basic rules of sanitation. If something as simple as washing your hands when you come into contact with snot isn't being done, it makes me wonder what else slips through the cracks. Read Less

I went to get the gel mani off of my nails and the girl scraped the paint off and it PULLED the top layer of my nails off... I asked her to stop because it not only hurt, but was damaging my fingernails. She acted upset about this, rewrapped them for about 2 minutes and proceeded to continue scraping my nails off. When she was finished, she told me to go wash my hands. When I came back, she had already moved on to another client. I sat back in the seat and she said, "do you need something else?" I told her I would like at least some cuticle oil on my nails.... I'm used to that at other places anyways! She acted perturbed but did it anyways. She didn't ask me for my money or say "thanks for coming" or anything. I threw down the cash on the table and left without a single nail tech saying "bye" or "thanks!" Took my daughter in today to have a mani / pedi so she would have pretty nails for the 1st day back to school. Yes we got in fast but that was the only positive thing i can say . We were asked to pick out a color and after that they spoke to eachother non stop. After the first coat of polish was put on, i told the lady that my daughter did not like the light color, her response was " thats what she picked ." Yes, i get that she picked that color but she doesnt like it ! The lady got all upset with me , said something to her friend and my daughter was told to find another color.  After being asked about 10x if we wanted a flower, we finally gave in. What she gave her was far, far, far from a flower ! It looked like she painted eyeballs on her toes. The worst job ever !!!  We paid waaaay too much for such a horrible experience and job. Absolutely the worst mani ever and a terrible pedi.  My usual place was booked today so I tried this one.  My first clue should have been that it was empty on a Saturday. They quoted me $28 for a mani and pedi. I sat down and noticed the place wasn't the cleanest. Next, the pedi spa had drainage issues. The mani was done in record time and when finished I noticed he hadn't even removed my old, clear pink polish and I somehow had more hangnails and cuticles than when I arrived. My nails were filed unevenly and two not at all. The pedi was short, and the callus remover she insisted I needed left my feet cracked and bleeding. It is painful to walk on my right foot. When done, they asked for $38! I paid and got the heck out of there. This was supposed to be a nice treat after a long week and instead I left feeling blue. Read Less

They are quick in sitting you but not very effective communicator in letting know about the services and how much they actually cost. The mani-pedi is $30.00 which is fair but that is it! Anything more than that you have to specially look at in the small menu they have on the wall because there are different gels and all cost different - Also minimum tip on the credit card is $5.00! I came here for a gel mani. I was the only client in the salon the whole time. My manicurist was an older lady who could barely speak English. The other 3 employees were sitting in the spa chairs on their phones. My lady was just ok. She didn't file them good, she could have polished them better. Another coat could have been applied. And she didn't massage my hands... Just my arms. Ugh. Overall I give my finished mani a 3/5. The only reason I came here was because my current manicurist is out on maternity leave and my current salon was booked and I was in big need of a mani. I'll wait next time. I took my daughters there to celebrate the start of a new school year. I was disappointed with 3/4 of our jobs. First, my toe nails were cut wrong. very inward. Not good for ingrown nails and also not aesthetically pleasing shape. polish didnt last. I get gel nails on my hands. At other nail salons, gel lasts really nicely on my nails for 10-15 days before beginning to peel off. These gel nails lasted for 3!!!Two of my daughters designs they had done (which costs $5 extra) came off while swimming in the pool, just where design was in center) two days after pedicure. I kind of felt like to them it was more about doing a job & getting the $$ than giving you that "spa" ambiance feeling. Get in get out kind of deal.I know most of the places in the area are run by asian families.. Most places I can actually understand but the group of the people here were really hard to understand. (I hope this doesn't offend anyone) just FYI. The good thing is the fact that they do SHELLAC nails. My manicure was $27. The BAD thing is the guy ended up accidentally painting one hand a different color.. like actually two nails would be one color.. two would be a different color! It's partly my fault for being indecisive (he brought me both bottles to look at) but once I made my decision, he should've put the other away. He was on the phone most of the time completely distracted. (I don't know if you can tell by the picture I posted)SO!! One pinky on my right hand matches the left hand but the rest of my right hand is a different color! I didn't notice until the next day. And I thought back to it & he even asked as I was looking at my nails "Anything wrong?" he had to have known what he did!!
