I have been extremely happy each time I've been to this location! All the staff is friendly and patient, but I especially love Tina! Tina always makes sure that I am happy with her work on my nails, and now my eyebrows. She makes you laugh too so it doesn't seem as though she is there strictly for work. I came in here Sunday afternoon just because my go to nail place is closed Sundays, I needed my nails done couldn't wait for Monday so I decided to go here since it was one of the few that where open Sunday. This was my worst experience, rude ' rude. The guy that was doing my pedicure was terrible made me bleed and was doing a lazy job. The lady that did my nails was rushing and did a lazy job her self cause she was "tired" that's all she kept saying the whole time. One of my nails is already coming off and the nail polish as well. This was a very unpleasant experience for me. The workers did not give me what I wanted. I asked for a natural, French tip but received pink nails, instead. The workers just spoke to each other the whole time in their own native language, and could hardly understand English. It was such a poor service. The hospitality was absolutely rubbish. I have my wedding this week and they RUINED my nails! They would not correct it, and told me that the pink was my natural colour, and looked more healthy. Never go to this place. My gel manicure was awful. Peeling off the same day. I get it they will probably get more money from someone getting a mani and pedi but to speed up to get me out of the chair is so unprofessional. 40 bucks down the drain! Read Less

They mostly only have DND brand gel polish which in my past experiences has always peeled off like a sticker days later. Against better judgement I took Katherine's recommendations and decided on using the brand once more. She didn't do the best on my cuticles and never used rubbing alcohol to remove the stickiness afterwards. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. Read Less

Kathrine is the best! She is the only in that place who actually case what i want, and doesnt hurt me. She also doesnt try to get me to pay more then what i want, and will only offer a serivce if she thinks i really need it. Today i got a pedicure and a full set and she did both and i have never been happier. i have never made appointments to go to nail salons but from now on i will be calling and making appointments with just her. She did the best job on my nails, i always get burned by their nail grinder cause they dont care about my skin and she made sure she didnt touch my skin once and since i have a son she had me dry my nails before i left so that they wouldnt get messed up. She is amazing and i wish i could have given her a bigger tip. if anyone is looking into going here, make an appointment with her, she also speaks english very well so you can understand her, and if you cant and ask her to repeart it she doesnt roll her eyes and get mad like the rest, she understand and repeats her self. I took a 16 year old friend who has never had a pedicure before. We requested the basic pedicure. Later, my friend was offered a menu, and again, I clearly said the basic pedicure. While I wasn't paying attention, the woman giving the pedicure asked my friend if she wanted callouses removed, failing to explain it was an extra charge. Then she offered to paint designs on her polished nails, another up charge. Of course, my friend said yes. When we went to pay, the extra cost was $18.00!! So it was a $38.00 pedicure!! I felt like the woman giving the pedicure was deceptive, taking advantage of my young innocent friend. I never heard her ask anything, which makes me think she was asking quietly so I wouldn't hear, because I heard her talking about other things. This place is horrible. I had to tell the lady to clean my cuticles and she still did a pathetic job. I had to file my own nails because she didn't understand when I told her all my nails needed to be even and uniform. I was so upset with the service and ability I would even let them paint my nails. I walked in and they asked what I wanted never once did they say how long but I waited for 30 minutes. The lady was nice and said thanks for waiting. She actually did a good job for finishing them in 30 minutes but the paint job is awful. And I had asked for a matte finish top coat and she still put a shiny top coat. I've been here before and it's usually my go to place when my original nail lady can't take me or I have to cancel which this case cause I work and with her you have to book in at least two week advance...she's that good lol but yeah just wanted to write a review on my take on this place. Lana did a great job on my nails! Warm and sweet customer service and she did my nails in a timely manner also the prices are quite good compared to other nail salons. I always depend in going to Jing on getting my nails done ( highly recommend ) but she was fully booked hence this is a wonderful alternative. Read Less

I have to say, I'm so disappointed. Sam did my toes - my toes are good. I'd go back for him to do my toes. That's why there are two starts, for Sam. Cindy did my nails. They are so sloppy looking. You can see the nail polish in patches and there is polish on my skin. She was really rough too and my nail beds are sore. Here's the bigger issue. I was charged 5.00 to remove my gel nail polish. This would have been helpful information, had I know, I would have just removed it myself at home. Cindy also waxed my eyebrows and lip. While doing my nails she said "you need to be waxed" and then when I was done took me into the waxing room and started. She also said, your lip too and then just started. My eyebrows look nice but my lip, I have no idea what she even did because the same hair is still there! It was just awful. Worst service EVER!     Before I had any service done I asked what the price would be for the removal of a full set, and just a manicure. I was informed it would be 23$; so I agreed.     Just to clarify, the nail tech Mike was a sweet heart but, he broke my nail in the process of filing and buffing. He was a little to rough after he had soaked my fingertips in water causing the whole nail to rip off! It has took me quite some time to grow them out to the length that they are now. So obviously it was a big deal that he broke my nail.     He mentioned he would fix it and sure enough he did by gluing on a tip. When it came to adding polish he polished all of my nails even the one with a tip; which did not have acrylic powder!? So I asked him to please add powder because I could see where he LITERALLY glued on the nail.      When it came to paying, they asked for the full 23$. . I didn't think this was fair given that my nail got ripped off in the process due to his negligence. So I brought that up to their attention and she insisted that the 23$ was already including discount given that they weren't charging me the extra 3$ for fixing a broken nail.        This makes no sense to me given that I didn't walk in with a broken nail to begin with! PLUS! The 23$ was what I was told to pay for the service when all my nails were intact! She refused to give me a discount on the unsatisfying job I received. This was my first and last time here. I went to get a gel manicure the other night. I have had a pretty decent experience until this manicure. A man did my manicure and he was very rough, and cut my nails unevenly (which I didn't notice until left). I have sores around my cuticles from him buffing my nails so aggressively. Also, my gel manis usually last about 3 weeks and do not chip, but within the first day it has already chipped due to the gel getting on my skin and pulling up. I used to love this place but recently I just can't seem to get anything good from them. My acrylics are always crooked, misshapen, and quite frankly - ugly. I'm tired of going back in to get it fixed. So overpriced for the basic quality. Services are very rushed and doesn't feel as clean as it used to. By far the worst place to go to for Nails in Camarillo.  Unbelievable experience for basic overlay of acrylic.  Had a tech named 'Sam'; I asked a simple task- thin layer of acrylic over my natural nails.  He left so much acrylic over my fingers, underneath my nails, and didn't use the right bit to have a smooth finish. Ive been here a couple  times and each time it was ok. I hate how when you don't  get all the extras they say things in their  language and they make me feel like I'm  cheap because i don't  spend extra on things i don't  need. Ive always been a good tipper so it shouldn't  matter what i go in for. My pedicure each time had been good. This last time i asked for a french tip mani and was not satisfied with it.
