Myself and 4 other of my friends came across this place while visiting our friend in the area. They have great service and made us feel welcomed, but the quality of their work did not match. It felt a little bit rushed considering we called ahead to make appointments. Attention to detail was not there. Each of us had imperfections, all of which could of been cleaned up if they took the time to check their work. One of us only had one nail to be fixed on her big toe. Her nail was broken and they put in an acrylic nail and painted it they charged her $10 while one of our friends got all of her toes repainted french tip and she was charged $12. Coming here is like visiting family. The workers here are very friendly. They treat you well if you treat them well. Respect is what they need. they work so hard 7 days a week. They seem to need a break sometimes. If you have an appointment they try to fit it into their schedule. I think it's hard for them to balance walk-ins and appointments. It's best to arrange an appointment when there isn't much foot traffic. Stay away from mornings and book one past 6 or 7. I'm always there past 7 and this is when you really get the best service. I don't think I'll be going back here anytime soon. I took 2 of our clients here yesterday to get our nails done. I also needed fills. The prices were totally different than what I was quoted. The paint job I got was horrible; very messy. I don't recommend going here. Read Less

I'm sorry, but I don't think I'll be going back here. The staff was nice, but the quality of service was not. The prices were different than what was quoted to me over the phone.  The actual paint job on my nails was very sloppy, lumpy. The price was so no not worth it. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. I called, in desperate need of a FAST pedicure as I was attending a wedding in an hour. I was in and out in 30 minutes! I am so thrilled with the work as well. Even though I requested a quick pedicure, She didn't seem rushed, I still got a leg massage and everything. I will be returning! Read Less

Spontaneously went here with my best friend about two weeks ago after breakfast at Eggs 'n' Things.  She had been having a rough time, and I had just finished the brunt of a house move (my hands were THRASHED from it), so I decided to treat us both to gel manicures ($30 per person, before tip; idk if this is cheap or slightly expensive since I don't due manicures often... or didn't before this visit).  We were immediately seated; I can't recall the name of the lady who did mine, but my bestie got Tom, and he was an absolute treasure.  Such a kind and giving heart!  We three hit it off very well, and he took a strong interest in our lives despite us being total strangers, and made conversation easily, and even shared some of his life story with us that left us teary eyed (he's a real inspiration, let me tell you!).  Sometimes that kind of conversing feels awkward or forced at salons, but it naturally blossomed between the three of us, and it's made an incredible impression.  In addition to a kind heart, he had a great work ethic; he really went above and beyond on making sure my friend's manicure was perfect, and she even commented to me afterwards how incredible and long the massage was.  Her manicure took nearly double the time mine did (which isn't to say mine was bad; it was lovely), and I'm so grateful for how much work he put in, as it really made my friend's day!I'm due for another manicure here soon, as the last leg of moving + a very nonstop two weeks have left my nails thrashed again; but you can bet I'll be scheduling an appointment with Tom after all the great work he did! I never knew this nail salon was here and I'm so bummed I didn't know about it. I used to go to the one across the freeway. But this will be my new spot. Everyone in there was so friendly. They talk to you they're awesome. Everyone who came in looked like they had been going there for awhile. They knew people by name. I had to get a fill and he did an awesome job. I love this place. The service is amazing and the workers are so friendly. I recently got gel nails done here and I took a while to find my polish and even changed it after she showed me the color. She was so nice about it and told me not to worry and to take my time. I left with beautiful nails and a color that I love. Plus the price is unbeatable. I would definitely recommend this place. What can I say, I love this place. They are alway so friendly and welcoming. The color selection for gel and regular polish is great. The facility is also very clean. I have been going to Nail Perfection for the past 6 years, which is when I moved to Camarillo. Tina is the only one who does my nails. She has done acrylics, gel nails, and french manicures on me. In November I was treated to a full set at another salon & the whole time I just kept thinking how I wish I was at my regular salon, Nail Perfection. The other salon did a horrible job on my nails, they looked like i had scraped them with something and they cracked within a day. Thank God for Tina, she took me near closing time and fixed my nails. She is truly the best at what she does!I have also gotten pedicures here by 3 different people and every single time it has been amazing.FYI- Your mani/pedis will last a month here! Ok so let me start with this review by saying I read ALL the other reviews including the ones not recommended ... I have know the owner Tina for over 21 years. I have worked with her in a beauty salon as well ( I am a hair dresser) this is how I met her. I have followed her from place to place and she has always done my acrylics. In fact she is the only one who can make them last for one month! ( yes I see her only monthly) I love Tina she has always been professional but takes care of the clients too. What I will say about the other complaints is this: one we all have off days in any job! Two: if you see 20 people a day chances are your gonna nick someone or someone is gonna get upset with you. It's a matter of statistics..... I have been to a lot of other places as well with traveling and moving and such... All the complaints I heard have happened their as well it's the nature of the business.  I have always been treated very nicely with all the staff members as well. I have moved out of the area and tried other places.... None as good as Nail Perfection... Needless to say I drive back monthly to see Tina and once agin I get tons of complements. Her prices have gone up over the years but I feel like they are about right in the industry. I think people come here and seeing  an all Asian staff assuming to get an amazing job for cheap.... Doesn't work that way. They are professional and friendly and I recommend them. Also I would like to say I have NEVER in 21 years got an infection from Going to Nail Perfection! Tina and her husband have upgraded their massage chairs regularly over the years. They constantly reinvest in their business - new floors, counters and equipment regularly. They take this business and their clients very seriously. Tina (owner) will always answer the phone and then greet you in person with a smile & kind words. I wonder sometimes if she ever leaves to eat or sleep! Only 1 downside: Tina doesn't consistently start on time and 5 minutes is more like 15 minutes.
