If I could give zero stars I would. I had an appointment with someone and when I got there "she wasn't available" and they threw me with someone else. This person was rude and kept saying "sorry I have to doThis fast because I'm supposed to leave." She didn't do a great job and kept cutting my toenails on the sides. Well she ended up cutting me and the next day it was hurting really bad. I go to the doctor a week later because it was getting worse and worse even after treating it with soaks and cleaning with hydrogen peroxide.  I ended up having an infection. I went back because I was still having pain after the round of antibiotics and I ended up having surgery for an ingrown toenail. When I went back to the nail salon they told me it was because I had an ingrown toenail to begin with. UM no. I'm a nurse, I would have known. It was the way in which their employee was cutting my nails that caused it. I will never go back and they're lucky I'm not vindictive enough to sue and that my health insurance covered most everything. Beware because I question if they are sanitary and if the tools they used on my toes were properly sanitized and if the employee was ever properly trained. Read Less

I came in for a gel manicure on 3/3/18 and I had a great experience. Only issue is the next day, 2 of the 3 rhinestones on my right ring finger all fell off in the shower. I think it's because she didn't put another clear coat over the nail after adding the rhinestones. But I will definitely be back! Read Less

I debated on whether or not I wanted to leave this review. But the more I've looked at my nails over the past week, the more disappointed I became that a salon would perform this poor of quality, and I wouldn't want someone else to experience this. This photo was taken 7 days after my GEL manicure. Honestly, it started looking like this after DAY 4, but again, I hesitated on writing this and even started to think that it must have been MY FAULT it started peeling so soon. However I have NEVER experienced a gel manicure last this short amount of time. To compare, the gel manicure I had prior to this (from another salon) lasted for 3 long weeks! So I knew it wasn't me just being rough with my nails. Additionally, as soon as they finished, I looked down at the nails and noticed the gel was UNEVEN and the cuticle job was SLOPPY. Not clean whatsoever. I'm not one to be picky, but JEEZ this was bad! And to top it off, the PRICE was slightly higher than what I pay at a higher end salon. I was really hoping to find a go-to salon that's closer to home, but unfortunately this is not the place. Added on a second star because the staff was incredibly nice and I wish this had worked out. I am in love with my nails! I visited the salon for the first time yesterday and was greeted by Mindy, who offered an array of complimentary drinks. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and picked the color and she got to work. Other salons tend to be careless with the manual and drill filing and have left my cut and sore but mindy was careful and never hurt me! She painted the nails how I wanted and gave her own suggestion on adding a gold glitter on top of the original glitter and it made the nails pop even more! Pictures do not do the glitter justice! I love this place, their artists are great, they are very hospitable, and I'd recommend them to anyone.The only reason they are not getting 5 stars from me is because I went to get my nails done on a Tuesday at 5:30pm since their hours are until 7pm, but the man inside doing someone's nails told me they were closed. Their hours were right there on the sign saying they were open. I'm not sure if this was a rare occasion, or their hours are changing, but I did find it a bit frustrating, since most people get off work like myself and go. It's not too hard to post a sign saying why you're closing early or post your new hours. Read Less

Perfect mom and daughter date! This place is absolutely clean and does not have a super strong manicure smell, I love my gel acrylic nails ($40 includes cuticle cleaning)and my mom loves her clean gel nails($30). Both of us together costed $70 which is not bad compared to prices in LA. I suggest Carol: she has the most gentle touch and funny stories. I'm not quite sure who did my moms nails but he's from Texas and looks in his mid 20s. Both of them were very nice and did an amazing job with no cuts and rip offs. With several sponsors, including Access TLC Healthcare, Encore Nail Spa served up an evening of pampering in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this week.  Apparently they've done this before, but it was my first time hearing about it / attending. Everything was set up to provide a party atmosphere, from a singer performing familiar tunes, to lots of food treats.  Plentiful fruit trays also featured various cheeses.  The other end of table was laden with cakes and cookies. My pedicure felt heavenly, especially the warm water soak with the massage chair features enabled.  I decided that I should make time to do this more often.  Kudos to the spa owners for making all the guests feel so special.  They balanced getting everyone through their appointments efficiently, while still feeling indulged in relaxation.  That was a great balancing act! My family and I came here last minute the weekend of my wedding. Luckily I got Kathy who was an absolute gem! She was so sweet and accommodating! She even helped me pick a nailcolor when the one I picked wasn't working. Hands down the best experience I have had getting myNails done. Also, Kathy did the toes of myLittle niece and went the extra mile and gave her a cute flower detail on her little toes. This place was very clean, they had all their utensils sanitized and used a plastic cover for the pedicure bowls. I am very happy we went to Encore they provided us with a wonderful experience for my wedding weekend. They helped make a special even more special and memorable! Definitely recommend! Read Less

I have had acrylic nails for many, many years. I took a chance and stopped in for a fill at a new salon because my previous nail salon has ignored my appointment times and made me wait too many times for too long. I heard of this nail salon from one of my friends so we decided to check it out. It was a bonus to find out that they use a liner for the tubs for pedicures and even better to see that they use sanitized one time use (disposable) nail kits. My sister is getting married on Saturday and they were able to accommodate all 6 of us. (We did make a reservation the night before.) They even offered us mimosas and water. The employees were very friendly and I would recommend this salon to anyone. My pedicurist, Steven, was very nice! I brought my own supplies and they had no issue and didn't try to upsale us on anything . Other salons, I would feel that they gave weird looks and made me feel uncomfortable. I am glad to have found a place that cares about the cleanliness of their salon for not just their customers, but for the workers as well. Read Less

THE GOOD:  Exceptional work. They do dipping, a great alternative to traditional acrylics. The location is clean.  They provide new files and sanitize their equipment. They provide refreshments (including wine YIKES). They are very friendly. The facility is quiet, they play spa music which is a great change to the madness of other salons.  THE BADLanguage barrier similar to other salons.  Can be a little rough.
