The salon  is super cute and customer service is great BUT the actual product (the nails) is not at all on the same level.Once I got there, I couldn't find any parking so I went ahead and called to ask if they had reserved parking for the nail salon. The lady was SOOOOO SWEET and kind. She took the liberty to come outside and help me locate parking. It was extremely generous of  her to go out of her way! This was a great start...BUTWhen I had called the salon for an appointment, I requested someone who is thorough with cuticle removal and I was assured I would get someone diligent.I chose my color and both techs were simply amazing and kind! However, the work was simply just ok... my fingernail color didn't match my toe color even thought it was not really a biggie because I was able to find the matching color. The tech painted another coat with the correct color on my toes  (wish they would've just repainted with the correct color instead of piling on yet another layer) the tech was extremely sweet and kind and didn't make me feel uncomfortable for wanting to correct the color... my nails are a whole other story. Again, the tech was so sweet and kind to me but my nails look like they are a week old... $55 for a gel mani and a regular pedi is on the pricier end but I figured this place had great reviews it's probably worth it... I have tried all the nail salons in area and this is my favorite one! Angel is amazing. She does an incredible job with my SNS manicures. She always listens to my style requests and I love the shape that my nails are now maintaining! She is gentle when removing the polish as well which has helped my nails to grow long and strong after years of scraping at other salons. Not to mention my manicures have been lasting over 3 weeks! I never thought that I would find a manicurist as delightful as Angel. Go see her! The salon as a whole is great. I am always happy with my pedicures too! This salon is too cute. Very modern decor and extremely professional staff. My girlfriend and I were immediately welcomed and helped right away. Their gel and polish selection is extensive and their nail art is very current. I definitely recommend this place and I look forward to coming here again. The gel is a little pricey. I usually pay $5-$10 extra for gel but here it's $20. Aside from the pricey, I really enjoyed my time here. You definitely get what you pay for. Read Less

DO NOT PAY THESE CROOKS IN CASH!!!!! To say I'm upset would be an understatement. I was completely taken advantage of and mislead. Upon arrival, the nail technician handed me a laminated paper listing 3 prices for services. Due to the fact that I brought my 6 year old daughter in with me; I opted for the express (which states $35 for combo: nails & toes) underneath in fine print it states $20 for gels. To me this means $55 total if gels were added. I even asked the lady; while their manager was standing there and they confirmed. Upon leaving; the male manager charged $150 claiming that gels would be $80 extra?!!! I did not want to make an issue of this in front of my child but I feel completely robbed! My daughter & I get our nails done every 2 weeks... the only reasons we tried somewhere new is because my regular nail lady is out. DO NOT GO HERE! This is the most dishonest establishment. I was already having a bad week & I am so upset right now, I could cry.UPDATE! The police were called. These people are CROOKS! They had NO record of my appointment when the police arrived. They could NOT justify the cost. They REFUSED to return any portion of the money they stole from me! I will be contacting the better business bureau tomorrow! Read Less

My best nail experience I have ever had. Not a doubt. The guy at the front desk was so polite and wonderful. I got a mani pedi and the chairs were comfortable and plus work!!!! Massage town for me! The girl who did my toes was so gentle and precise. Normally I am uncomfortable with ppl touching my feet but she was great. The other girl that did my fingers was really sweat and I do like when there's conversation and personality with my nail artist. Hope I found a new home here! I WAS a frequent customer of Varnish Nail bar. I stopped in and received a manicure the manicurist sliced 2 of my fingers they bled and it took over 10 minutes for the bleeding to stop. The manicure was completely ruined because of the cuts and it took a week for recovery. I still paid for the service and generously tipped the manicurist that cut my fingers. I was very understanding because it was an accident. The manager assured me he would take care of me on the next visit. When I revisited he would only discount $3.00. He wouldn't even reduce the cost of the service from $35.00 to $30.00 and acted like he was doing me a favor! That's very sad and shows a major lack of customer service. I felt I was VERY understanding by not demanding the manicure completely free when she cut 2 fingers. I WILL NEVER RETURN the city has so much competition for nail salons. Another yelper messaged me and told me this was the best spot in our area to get nails done.  I've been meaning to check it out for some time since I received this message a year ago.  Went for the second time this month.  My gel mani lasted exactly two weeks and the pedi is still going into week 3 without a chip.  They really take their time and are meticulous and yes, their products are amazing.  I'm sure I'll be here again next month! Really friendly and great prices too.  Also, it's pretty-it's in a pretty spot and there's tons of free street parking.  The only downside, is more buffing than my other salon, so my nails are now so frail. Perfect place for pedis, but staying loyal for manis bc I have weak nails naturally and can't take a super buff. Read Less
