This place is amazing. When I walked in I was treated very, very, very well. For a mani pedi I was charged $25, that's a freaking steal! When I sat down I was treated like a queen. They put my feet in a warm water tub, and soaked my nails in a bowl with warm water.  They brought out oils, lotions, and warm rocks. They rolled the warm rocks and oil on my hands and it felt AMAZING. They got warm rags and placed it on my feet and hands. I will be coming back here for sure not even a question. We had the mobile princess party at our house. The two women (Leila & ?) that provided the services were very friendly and professional to work with eight 6 year old girls. They were also punctual. They provided everything to host a party. They painted nails, cucumber mask, did the girls hair, a toast to the birthday girl and provided princess dresses. Worst nail salon I've ever been to!! Had a gel manicure and a spa pedicure which was done in under 30 minutes. The lady who did my manicure rushed through the whole thing, used cuticle oil on my nails and then rubbed it on my hand and didn't bother giving me a massage with lotion. I asked if I could have some lotion and she gave me something that was watered down and smelled like a dirty wet rag, not sure if it was even lotion and my gel started to peel off the next day. The lady who did my pedicure didn't remove all my cuticles, had used her own nail to push them up, toenails we're not shaped the same, didn't receive hot stone massage which is part of the package, no foot massage was given, what she did was apply lotion to my legs. Once I was done drying my toenails I proceeded to pay and brought it to the owner's attention who had the annoyed face look on her. She defended the lady by telling me she did massage me with the stone and that I probably didn't see it and that it's the same routine that these ladies always do. No apology was ever given, all she told me was not to tip them if I wasn't satisfied. This place needs to have better training and customer service. We hosted a spa party for my daughter & overall, I'd highly recommend Prestige for a girl's birthday party. I'll share some things I would've wanted different but the pros more than outweighed the  cons.First, the areas for improvement:Now the photo booth is not owned or run by Prestige but is one of their affiliated vendors.-wrong date was printed on pictures on photo booth.-would've loved an online gallery made available so my guests could've downloaded the pictures.- requested no zebra print & was told no zebra print (but then there was a few things still with zebra print)...not that big of a deal-although we paid for the facial & cucumber masks, they weren't provided day of the party. We started late (because I planned a game to keep the kids busy while they set up but the game ran longer than expected so not having facials was my bad & also turned out not to be a big deal.)The praises:-Michelle & her crew let us borrow their tables & chairs till the end of the party when they absolutely could have packed up & jet out. I soooo appreciate this awesome customer service. They cleaned up around us while leaving the chairs & tables last so the girls could finish their cupcakes. Thank you!!!-Staff was friendly & nice. One even ran to her car to lend me her phone charger because I didn't have mine & my phone battery was about to die.-They were flexible with our set up.-The bow updo was a favorite & so much fun! See picture!-Michelle was great with communication via text for party planning & reservations.-There was a hair "station", mani "station" & pedi "station" and craft "station" where girls could bead bracelets onto pipe cleaners so everyone kept busy. Since we brought in a photo booth, girls waiting on stations could take pictures.Most importantly, my daughter & her friends had so much fun.Some things we did on our own:-Peonies were late blooming this year but it worked out perfectly for our party. The pink peonies were perfectly matching with the pink tablecloths Prestige brought!-flip flops are not provided so I bought $1.99 flip flops from Michael's & decorated them with flowers. I give this place a one because it is cute and big. I deducted four stars because linda added on extra charges without telling me (-1).  I told her I usually get gel but I wanted a full set for an event. She said she would put gel on top so that it would look nice and hold better. Yeah didn't mention it was an extra $5. Principle. Should I have known ? Perhaps but also I just told her I never do a full set she should have told me the extra charge plain and simple. The prices outside the shop are misleading (-1). The full set manicure I got is subpar. (-1) there  are  so many other salons on magnolia- check them out first. However, Mary who did my pedi was a sweetheart. I would like to let the establishment know that the counter receptionist was very rude.(-1) It was almost 7 so I get that she wanted to leave (she left immediately after she ran my card.) Also, the system declined my card (it worked when I asked her to run it again) but she yelled it across the salon which to me is extremely unprofessional. One star for the place. 5 for Mary. Hands down WORST pedicure I've ever received. Start to finish I was done in about 15/20 minutes. The woman who did my pedicure, did not clean under my toenails, she did not scrub my feet for more than 10 seconds. There was NO massage (that's the main reason I like to go) AND the toe nail polish looked like my 7 year old did it. I will NEVER go back to this salon. And then they have the audacity to have a sign posted asking you to write positive reviews on Yelp and if you had a problem to speak to the manager. Mind you the manager sits behind her desk and looks as if she wants nothing to do with clients. This is not a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the pedicure SUCKS. We had my daughters 9th birthday there and it turned out fabulous! The ladies were very helpful and great with the girls. They got put into robes when they get there . They did a lemonade toast 1st . Had facials, massages , mani and pedi. Played just dance and did karokye! The room has a pink and black coloring so I used the same colors for cake ect!   The only thing I didn't like was the speaker is low for music ( no biggie) and it gets a little hot inside . I went here last night at 6PM. I asked for a gel manicure and pedicure. The window outside says you can get a manicure and pedicure for $25 so I figured gel wouldn't be much more than that. She finished my gel manicure in 10 minutes. didn't push down my cuticles and there was nail polish all over the creases of the nails on the sides. Very sloppy. Aaaaand I walked out the door paying $60 for a ten minute gel manicure and pedicure that I could have done myself. Thanks but no thanks! Read Less

Shoddy manicure that peeled after 2 days, old nail polish, unskilled "estheticians" that had no idea what they were doing!! Save your money and go elsewhere. I got a mani/pedi for $25. The manicurist had no idea what she was doing- didn't even push down my cuticles or cut them properly. She got nail polish ON my cuticles. It looked so sloppy that I asked her to fix it. She didn't know how. All the nail polish is old; many of the tops are actually visibly worn. Apparently I picked a popular color because there wasn't enough of it in the bottle, so they added a few drops of something to it to thicken it up. When I asked for a new bottle, they told me that one WAS new. Um, I wasn't born yesterday...The kicker? They made me walk barefoot on their dirty tiled floor to the hand/foot dryer! Great local salon. Friendly staff where they know your name. They are one of the few salons to offer silk wrap which I've been doing for years.  Prestige is quick, professional and reasonably priced. So I decided to try something new and check this place out. Well I will not be retuning. I got a deluxe mani pedi. The pedi sucked. The website description said callus remover and hot stone well that didn't happen and my feel look just as I walked in. I still have the same dead skin which never happens at my regular place. Let me add I do my feet every two weeks with a callus remover so it isn't like I have crusty feet. The mani lady was nice but she made me walk barefoot, I gave her a confused look like yo that is nasty and told her you want me to go barefoot and she said YES! It wasn't till the end that she gave me the paper sandals. Anyway back to the mani, the lady was nice fixed my nail when I missed it up and tried to make small talk she is the only reason I gave them three stars. Read Less

I have had acrylics nails done by Ann, the owner, for over 20 years!  She runs a tight ship and keeps her salon looking beautiful!   The best thing she has done is add extra amenities to her business!  This includes a very talented hairdresser, Nelly, waxing at every level, eyelashes, and Spa Parties for young ladies Ages 5-16!  I wish I had Spa Parties when I was a kid! It's a brilliant idea!!  I love the services she offers!  I also love that fact that she employs young ladies in their very first job out of the house!  I love that fact that she actually starts careers!  I will always support Ann and the opportunities she has created!  Besides, I love her work!  Nelly too!! I was calling a few places and was asking if I can walk in to get a full set of acrylics done.  All I'm getting was that they don't do walk-ins and that I needed an appointment.  I was getting frustrated and upset until I called Prestige.  The lady that answered the phone which was Anh was very accommodating.  She said that I can come over right away.  When I got there, the place was very welcoming, friendly faces and i got in right away.  Tweety was the one that did my acrylic nails.  I loved how she did my nails specially when I specifically told her I don't want it thick and looking like it's fake.  I am truly satisfied and will definitely come back again! Normally I grow my own natural nails but they've been breaking and have been really brittle lately. I went to another place to get acrylics and I really didn't like how they came out. Decided to try this place out today and am really pleased with them. I'm kind of a nail nazi and will nitpick on the slightest thing. This place cleaned them up and made them look really nice. I wish they were a little more rounded but I'll take care of that next time I go in. Prices are good. They take debit card and that's a major plus for me because I never carry cash. You gals are not giving Prestige Nails enough credit. The owner Ann and her husband have worked hard to develop this business. This is my go-to nail salon in the LA-area: 1) they have solid prices and great deals 2) they have diversified by adding children's nail parties and a hair salon 3) they re-upholstered the pedicure massage chairs which shows they are reinvesting in their business. I got the worst set of acrylics here. Not only are they extremely misshapen the color has already started to chip off, I have never even heard of your acrylic color chipping. The initial painting of the acrylics was horribleTo begin with though it is a dark color polish you can still see through it as if it didn't revive enough coats. There is left over residue of the acrylic under the nails, very messy job. The clear coat they put on has seemed to bubble. Maria, Lisette, Danika and Linda  where pleasant, patient and professional. I took my niece for a surprise mani-pedi. They treated her like a princess and were very attentive to me as well. Being from the NYC area I'm not used to homie feeling salons.   The only criticism I have is that the place is a bit run down and the process is a bit choppy (i.e. Put flip flops on before painting toe nails, request payment before painting finger nails, etc.), though it is clean and hygienic, which trumps all else. My sister bypasses a few other salons to go to this one and I understand why.    They do nail art as well, which is a bit of dying art in Manhattan and I'm pleased that they did such nice design work.
