This was my second time here for a pedicure.  I don't live locally but my best friend comes here every month.  Let me say I would drive from San Diego just to get my nails and toes done here.   First off, the place is amazingly clean and comfortable.  The owner, Nicki is friendly and professional.  The chairs and equipment are clean and look brand new.   My pedicure always comes out perfect and lasts forever.  This time I had one nail that needed a repair.  Even though I had gotten my gel done in San Diego, they repaired my one nail and was able to match the color perfectly even though I had no idea what the color was called.I am seriously considering visiting my friend every month so we can get pedicures here together.  Thanks Sunflower for taking good care of my toes. Love the ladies at Sunflower, they went out of their way to accommodate our schedule even though their appointment was full...so impressed with their customer service.  They opened the shop a little earlier than usual to accommodate (she obviously understands the urgency for messy cuticles!) I have come to Sunflower a few times now and the quality of their nail art far exceeds that of other nail salons that I have gone to.Nikki is an artist in her own right and she is meticulous with the work that she does. I feel like I'm coming to visit a friend every time I come here. She is the sweetest person you'll ever meet!The nail polish and gel selection is of the best quality and the location is always immaculate. You can be assured of how hygienic this place is when it comes to getting a mani/pedi. You actually get the opportunity to enjoy your experience here, and not rushed out the door like other places. I came here a few months ago to get a gel manicure and I absolutely LOVE how they turned out!!! However, they didn't last me very long and my nails were already peeling by the 2nd or 3rd week which was a little upsetting considering Sunflower Nails is a bit pricier than other places. Whenever I get my nails done at other salons, they typically last me about a month but unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. The lady who did my manicure was very sweet and used a lot of care and precision on my nails, but I don't know why they peeled so quickly.. Perhaps it was the UV light machine and the gel didn't cure properly? I don't know.. I'll probably come back in the future to get gel manicures here for special occasions since I loved the way they turned out but I won't expect them to last long. Highly dissatisfied. I used to recommend them to everyone. In recent months (approx 1 year) it's gone down hill. They're in a hurry and use Polish that is old and thick. They get Polish all over your toes and make a half hearted attempt to clean up. The Polish is so old and thick that it bubbles and clumps. Going elsewhere. Read Less

I've gone to this massage place at least once a month for the past year but lately they don't have any openings because they only have one person working.
