I absolutely love this place. I don't think I can explain how great this place is. I took my mom for the first time to get her manicure and pedicure and she was quickly obsessed. I also must say that their no chip manicure last about a month. Every nail technician in Shiny Nails does an AMAZING job and the owner make sure everything runs smoothly. This is my second time here and it is clean.  They are all very nice that work here.  They do a great job that lasts.  I will be coming back and recommend giving them a try. They have several massage chairs and it was nice to have 3 of us getting pedicures at the same time.  They are located next to Dad's Cafe in Safeway shopping center. Read Less

This place is awesome.  I've been getting my nails done here for over 7 months and I've never had an issue.  Tom does my nails and he does a super job.  If you are not happy with the color or the shape of your nails, tell them they are happy to fix whatever is wrong.  If you leave dissatisfied that's totally your fault.  They will do whatever you ask. Tom did my nails. I got a full set of acrylics. And a pedicure. He pulled my skin on my thumb and now have a skin tear. It happens. He did a good job otherwise. Asked if I liked the length and shape. I walked in for a last minute acrylic fill about 2 months ago and have found my go to nail salon! I see Tiffany, she is gentle - no file cuts or pain. She works to salvage the existing product versus peeling slightly damaged acrylic off (ugh..the worst feeling ever!) Every other tech I have seen over the last few years provided thick, uneven shaped nails that I'd have to nitpick about (hate doing this) to get a decent finished look. With Tiffany the first couple of visits I checked for thickness and consistent shaping - I've never had to have her correct anything. Second visit here, DISGUSTING Place!! Filthy bathroom smells! the guy with the tattoos is very unpleasant. I went for the cats eye method. The color was wrong even though the bottle said it was the right color. Very unfortunate. But the color was dark brown and very ugly. The worst part was that this guy starts yelling at me. He was trying to bullying me into believing that it was the correct color, and it was not. Very obvious that was not the color I selected. He tried to paint the pinky on one hand to prove he's point when it did not, he yelled at me even louder, The Rudest! I finally just left, I could hear him yelling all the way out into the parking lot. An Awful Experience. . I paid him explaining why he was Not getting a tip, I am normally a very generous tipper. Way too expensive! I went here a few times and they do a decent pedicure, however the last two times I went I was way over charged. I took my young daughter in to get our nails done and had my newborn with me also. My daughter and I were supposed to get manicures and pedicures. Hers turned out fine, I was cut twice on my toes and because my son started fussing he just did a color change on my nails. I was charged $114 not including the tip. A few years ago I went into this salon to make an appointment for either later that day or the next day. 4 nail people were standing around doing nothing. Not a customer in sight. They did a great job, gentle yet thorough as we had not had pedicures in quit a while. The place was clean and well organized, Brian and Tiffany were super nice. I just happened to find this nail salon because my chiropractors office is down the street and I was looking for somewhere to get a pedicure. The salon is warm and exciting, super clean and the owner and staff are super sweet. I'm really picky about my pedicures and they did a fabulous job. The polish was perfect. Although I felt like the staff was very thoughtful and accommodating I felt as though they completely overcharged me to have a manicure pedicure with acrylic nails and gel polish. I have never ever paid $85 to get my nails done anywhere. Usually anywhere from 35 to $55. Although I didn’t agree with the math, I paid the $85. Sadly its only been two weeks and the shine on my nails is gone plus the nail polish is damaged just from doing dishes and working around the house. When I go to other nail salons, I pay less and my nails.last over a.month and that’s with gardening, cleaning the garage and remodeling. My sister in- law and I were looking to get our nails done- just manicures with gel. Happened to drive by, saw the sign that said walk ins welcome, so we checked it out. It was quiet, and the people were extremely nice. They were able to take us back at the same time, which is a bonus. They had many colors and options to choose from. The woman who did my nails was so friendly, and kept up a conversation with us. Our nails turned out beautiful! I will for sure be going back! Had a great pedi which has lasted a long time and I am happy with it. Staff seemed very friendly and remembered my name after just one visit! A nice touch. Only problem is they charged my daughter and I over $50 for pedicures and hers was done in about half the time of mine (she's only 12 years old). If they were going to charge us both the same, we should have both received the same leg massage, etc. which she did not. However, since we don't get pedi's often, it was still a nice treat. So extremely rude, I showed up at 9:17am and was told to come back at 9:30am which was only 13 mins away from open time. How do you have the little buisness that you have? so i decided to return and have a manicure which was horrible! Had so much bubbles on my French white tip nails that I paid $45 for. I said kindly that I think she should re-do at least one nail that was extremely horrible, she immediately started taking smack about me in another language to her sister. Get my pedicures done here... They always last for ages! My last pedicure lasted 4 weeks, and the one I have currently has lasted 3! It would last longer, but I changed my nail polish color and REFUSE to have mismatching hand/toe nails. $22 for a pedicure. I have been going to this nail salon for quite awhile. I have tried other place in Brentwood, but still seem to come back to Shiny Nails. If you become a frequent customer the owners remember you by first name which is a great personal touch. They always do a fantastic job  on their spa pedicures and manicures and If I feel the need to get a full set of nails I will always come here for the pink and whites because they are done expertly with high attention to detail here.
