I called pinky's to see if the knew how to do SNS nails. I was told yes. I came in only to be told then it was the 1rst time anyone had tried the SNS application! They reassured me they could do it. The second he told me to place my hands under the ultra violet light I KNEW they didn't know what they were doing because SNS nails don't require ultra violet lights. I said something and they continued as if they were doing gels. I never received a manicure which you can see my cuticles weren't touched in the pictures!! Needless to say $40+tip later... the very next morning after doing nothing out of the ordinary my thumb nail cracked and chipped. I'm leaving for a week vacation and the entire week my nails fell apart and lost all shine. They looked like I hadn't had a manicure in months and I did my own nails. I was promised they guaranteed there work. When I went back into Pinky's immediately after I arrived home. They said no problem have a seat will be with you shortly to redo my nails no charge. I waited 45min only for them to start to apply gel not SNS nails. Why because they don't know how to do SNS. SNS is $40 $32 for gel. Not an even exchange so I asked for a gift certificate in the amount of $40 and they said no. I later called and told them that a gift certificate should have been given. They then agreed they should have but no worries they'll remember me. Went in today and ask for a mani/ pedi which is $40. I was in and out of there in 34 min. It usually takes about 30 min just for my basic pedicures. When I bought it to the attention of my manicurist that I've never had such a short pedicure before (I only get basic pedicures 99% of the time) he decided to give me a neck massage while my hands are in wax. Bottom line don't waste your time!! Pricy and horrible customer service when having to back up their guaranteed work!! Still can't believe 34 minuets!!! If this review was based on my last visit it would have been 5 stars, but thanks to Tyson and my visit today it would be negative stars.  I always get a gel pedicure and spend $60 and leave a $20 tip.  I have had services done by several different people and they do a good job.  Today though I got this guy, who waa in a rush because he wanted to get to the next customer as it appears he is one of the few people who can do certain services.  As a result he rushed thru my services and didn't even use cutical oil or properly trim my cutical.  Then he lied about it.  So after dropping $80 I am sitting at home trimming my own cutical.  When I questioned him he said the were busy and didn't have time to take his time. I guess this is because of the woman who came in and wanted a full set for her daughter.  She made the comment that she had things to do and could not wait, not sure if she is part of the royal family, but clearly they think her time and money is more important than mine. What the he'll kind if excuse is that. .I made an appt yesterday for these services.  If you didn't have the time to provide me the services I requested then you shouldn't have taken my appt.  I called to speak to the owner,  and Tyson pretended to be the owner on the phone.   I will never come back to this business, and tell everyone I know not to come here.  It really is a shame because there are some really nice and skilled employees there that provide excellent services.  Tyson is a joke. Uhm my nails looked pretty bad leaving here. The technician cut my pointer finger pretty bad and it would not stop bleeding. I got shellac and that fingers polish fell off the next day, probably because it couldn't adhere correctly due to the blood. The polish did not cover the tips of my nails well and lasted less than a week. The technician was very polite and a nice person, told me to come back within 2 weeks for any problem and get it fixed at no charge. That is nice but I will not be back to this place. Nina and Mai do a wonderful job on gel mani and pedis. This is my 2nd time coming here and because of them I've decided to come here regularly! They're gentle and don't make you feel rushed.  I truly am pampered and their massage towards the end for the hands and feet are the best! I'll also continue to post pics for different gel shades of colors that they offer. The reason it's been only my 2nd time here is because I'm originally from the city. So I would literally have to drive back to the city for my go to. Pinky Nails salon was a nice experience for my daughter and I for manicures and pedicures. Calm atmosphere, clean, nice staff. They even have a kids pedicure chair that looks like a butterfly/Hello kitty. I mentioned yelp to our manicurist and he thanked me for offering to write a review. Went to this place only once because I was in town visiting a friend for our girls day of lunch & pedis.  It sucked!  The folks there come off as nice however when you don't accept their upsale of services they turn rude.  Got a manicure. Why would a gel manicure cost $30!  WTF really?!  So I got the regular manicure ($14) but it chipped just three days after getting it. While the people were very friendly and I was pleased with the final product, I can only give 3 stars max...  i brought my daughter for her first nail salon experience and her tech was great and did a good job in her mani and pedi.   My "spa" mani and pedi was subpar.  The pedicure was ok and the tech was nice. However, I was bounced around once it came time for the mani.  Most important though, I was not happy with the sanitation of the place at all.   They don't use liners for the pedicure tubs, their tools don't seem to be sanitized each use and the towels... my goodness! I don't even want to know what happens there.  Needless to say, when we got home I sprayed myself and my daughter's nails with Bactine and prayed that we didn't get an infection. Stopped in last minute for a gel manicure.  We were picking up my engagement ring that afternoon and I wanted my nails to look nice when I shared with my social media friends/followers the exciting news!  They were able to get me in right away.  The gentleman who did my manicure was nice, did a good job and made sure I liked the color on one nail before painting them all (I love this because there have been times I hate the color on even though it looked amazing in the bottle).  I don't live in Brentwood and rarely find myself out that way with time for a manicure, but I would totally recommend them! This is absolutely the worst nail salon I have ever been to. I got a full set with rounded tips. None of the nails were even. They all go in different directions and the nails start far from the cuticle. When he was clipping the fake nail, he cut into my skin multiple times and made them bleed. Read Less

Completely aweful manicure!!!!! And she didn't even put a top coat on my feet?! What did I just pay for?! I paid for simple mani/pedi- Vietnamese nail technician only cleaned my feet and toenails but my cuticles feel rough and my nail beds feel uneven.  Same technician also performed my manicure, one she nipped me! OUCH! And tried to hide it by spraying solution all over my fingers, OUCH LADY THAT HURTS!  She finally put disinfectant on it after how many times of wiping my blood with her own bare hand with no gloves when she starts seeing the tiny amount of blood.  My cuticles on my fingers looked better before my manicure.  Cuticles are rough, nailbeds are uneven, she missed so much section on my nails for a topcoat..... a topcoat!! Hands down the worst nail salon I have ever been to! Not only did he cut my nails way too short, but I had to ask him to redo them because he made them so thin they started cracking as soon as I wash my hands. His paint job was horrible, and my nails are so uneven while Summer Square and summer round. I had an appointment at 6 he didn't even pull me in until 6:30 and I'm just now getting out at 7:30 p.m. for a simple shellac fill. Not to mention that he charges $35! Very little effort with the man who did my mani pedi today. Really did the bare minimum, didn't even bother cleaning under my nails or toenails. Did six swipes with the pumice and that's it. I like that there are stores around so there is plenty to do.My nails were cute.Nice staff.I don't like that they cut my cuticles too much they started bleeding a little.I don't like that the place was not too clean. I don't like seeing polish smudged on everything  (including the wall).I don't like how they switched up on me. One person started working on my manicure then she got up and a guy sat down to finish. (I guess sitting and playing on her phone was more important than finishing my nails).I won't be back to this place. I had a mani/pedi done yesterday with Todd. He was so friendly and kind. He really took his time to treat me in the pedi chair. He gave me a complimentary hot stone massage. He always had something positive and kind to say about the nail color I choose or how my nails were healthy. It's very pleasnt to have other people really compliment and be kind and sincere when they are doing their job. My toes and hands feel amazing. I will diffently be back for another round. Poor service and overbooked- everyone was pissed because they all had the same appt time. And poor service- Technician doing my pedicure was eating sunflower seeds and spitting them by her feet! Finally a nail salon that is both professional and clean. A man named Jason did my nails and he did a better job than any nail salon has ever done . His nails lasted, didn't break off and he wasn't cheap with watered down polishes like you see far too often . His staff was also friendly . They were all very nice . This is the only place that can touch my nails now. I've gone to far too many places and it took me this long to find a nail salon this good. The surrounding area and stores are also gorgeous. I just had a TERRIBLE experience at this place!!! I was seated in a pedicure spa chair and the technician motioned for me to submerge my feet in the tub. To my unpleasant surprise, the water was ice cold! Then, rather than draining the cold water and replacing it with warm water so I can soak my feet, she motioned for me to place my feet on the padded, toweled bar. After removing my polish, she began to clip my nails. She clipped the skin on TWO TOES!!! I squealed in pain loudly! I examined my injured toes and decided to leave before I was further harmed. PROS- none at this visitCONS- Small Shop- Parking- OrganizationMy best friend made an appointment for us both to get manis before her trip, back in June 2016.We arrived about three minutes before our appointment, they seemed unsure of what appointment we were talking about, mentioning names other than ours.  Regardless, they sat us and had use start our hand soaks.  My technician did not talk to me, nor did she try.I had asked for white tips, on my natural nails, with gel so that they would last longer.  Color and technique were fine, however, she did not make sure that my white tips were even on all my fingers.. or at least the corresponding finger on my other hand.  Also, I said square nails with rounded edges.. I did most of the filing myself prior.. and she rounded it completely losing its square.She was abrupt and quick with what directions she had for me, assuming I knew when to switch hands, put a hand in the UV light.. etc.For my friend, her technician engaged with us both.. while multi-tasking.. acknowledging everyone who walked in, answered phone calls, booked follow-up appointments for customers that were done.. my friend had a more pleasant experience.Personally, I do not plan on returning to this shop.  I understand they are new, but there are plenty of other places that I had better first, second and third experiences at... Pro-tip: if you're going to talk crap about your customers in Vietnamese right in front of them, make sure first that neither of them speaks Vietnamese. So rude and unprofessional. Very Kind & helpful owner & staff. No lousy loud TV's playing just nice music. My 7-yr old daughter & I went as a walk-in last night and we ended up staying for 2 hours.
