The place is VERY small, there are only 2 ladies that work there. Jenny did my nails I get acrylic coffin nails... they aren't coffin! She attempted to do coffin they just look absolutely horrible! There is a waxing table in the the corner of the room (Again Small Salon) and the only thing separating you from that table is a drawn curtain!!! It's so gross in there definitely not sanitary, the pedicure tubs had crust in them that's definitely not sanitary!! I will not be going back! Read Less

I needed a fill so I looked to yelp and found Cute Nails & Spa. I liked the reviews and the location so I gave them a call after work and was able to be squeezed in at the end of the day and she even stayed past closing to help me out. Jenny was so sweet. I don't get my nails done often so I do not know the terms or what is what - she was very kind and understanding and explained a lot to me without making me feel silly. I showed her a photo of what I'd like and she did a beautiful job! She was very gentle with the drill, my nails are all even, and she was excited to do something fun for me. I walked in for a manicure + shellac. She tells me to look on the wall for a color. I finally pick one after about 5 mins then she tells me I was looking at the wrong ones. (It was only me and one other customer in the place and she knew what I was looking at) Anyways, she finally starts doing my manicure which was fine then she starts with the shellac. Usually manicurist are perfectionist and don't go outside the nail, well she just plopped on the nail polish literally all around my nail and cuticle. I thought maybe she had a plan for this in the end and found out that was not the case. She then tells me I'm done, I look at my nails and they are a disaster. I ask her if she can clean them up because you can't even tell where the nail ends and cuticle begins (yes, that bad). She then starts CUTTING my nails and cuticles to try to make a shape out of it. She made me bleed twice and finally I told her to stop cutting them because she was hurting me. She continues to file my nails and attempts to start cutting again and I literally had to pull my hand away because she wouldn't stop. My whole family goes to Jenny and we love Cute Nails! I love the personal touch that she has, and she is on a "first name basis" with so many people that know and love her! Whenever she has a new client she honestly takes the time to get to know them. The shop is small so it doesn't get too busy. After going to two places in Brentwood and being extremely disappointed I finally found my nail place!!! It's clean and friendly and they do a beautiful job. Seriously, such a good little place! I'm new to the area and chose this place based on distance from my house - and, I'm so glad I did! I called first to make sure they had room for a walk in - when I walked in, a woman (I think the owner), said, "Kelly!?" I picked my color for a manicure and the cute lady was so pleasant and did a great job! Towards the end of my mani, they asked if I wanted a pedi (there was no one else in the shop at this point), and I said, "why not!?"Anyhow, it's just a little nail salon. This shop does good work but the employees are rude and unprofessional.  2 of the employees came into the hair salon next door and started yelling and screaming at the owner of the hair salon.  I couldn't make out what was being said exactly but they could have chosen a more appropriate time to come and discuss whatever problem they had with the salon when no clients were in there trying to have services done. The owner of the nail shop (Jenny I think)has always been very nice and does good work but she unfortunately needs to have a serious talk to her employees about professional behavior.  Will not be going there for any future appointments. Walked in today, it was just one lady there but it only had the owner. She told me to come back around 1:30pm which was perfect because I wanted to check out Dino's Deli anyways so I came back around 1:30pm and she was finishing up her client. It took her about 5-10 minutes to do my waxing and the prices are affordable. I don't really know the prices around the area because I just moved here from Hawaii and what she charged me to both services is what I would usually pay to do one. My mom and I visited Jenny and Julie today for pedicures and manicures and received beyond excellent service. They spent so much time with us. Massages were great and nails look wonderful. Conversations were great. They did not make us feel rushed at all. Met a client who has been going to Jenny for over 20 years and travels to see her. She raved about her. I'm a little surprised at how positive the reviews are on here. I had a good, not great experience at this salon. I called and talked to Jenny. She said they were available to do my nails if I walked in. The salon was smaller than those I had been to previously. Also, I found it strange that they have the facial/waxing table right in front of the shop. I feel like if I wanted a facial or wax, I wouldn't want people who are receiving their manicures and pedicures staring right at me. My manicure was good. Maybe I'm just used to more of a massage than just a quick "let's put lotion on your hands before you leave." Just seemed kinda rushed. I also found it odd that they say they accept credit cards but pressure you to use a debit card or cash. I understand the fees of accepting cards for small businesses could be steep, but who carries enough cash for manicure and pedicures, plus a tip, without emptying their wallet? Overall, I feel like my experience was "ok."Edit:For every gel manicure I have had in the past from other nail salons, they last at the very least 3-4 weeks without chipping or noticeable growth. Not this one! This gel manicure chipped in a few days and started  peeling off within a week! I am SO disappointed!  Because my nails started looking so harsh, I went to remove the polish and the gel slipped right off. Gel shouldn't do that! My normal polish doesn't even do that! I had my nails done by Nikki and she did a fantastic job. The shop is clean, which is very important to me, and very accommodating. My phone was almost dead and she asked what kind of phone I had and offered me her iPhone charger. As you can see I had a different design for each finger and she happily did it for me. Terrific shop. Terrific staff. They have a really nice selection of colors. The price is fair for the service that you get, which is phenomenal. So, there's this thing there called an herbal pedicure. They mix the herbs and essential oils with their scrubs and lotions and it's exquisite. They weren't busy when I was there (which is a crying shame because you are definitely missing out if you're not in one of those chairs), but you should call for an appointment before going because she said they get very busy throughout the day. I decided to try it out after reading the positive Yelp reviews... I went in for a shellac fill. They had plenty of colors to choose from and it was a friendly atmosphere. Nikki did my nails and she did a great job! I tend to be picky about my nails and I have no complaints. And it is definitely affordable which is a plus! Read Less
