Garden Nails told me they couldn't do powder gel for my appointment so I called this place at 4:40 on Sunday 20 minutes before they closed and they gladly said I could come in. The first time I got my nails done here was for my high school prom. I've been going to Queen for years since my parents live nearby. Every nail technician I've had was very friendly and did an superb job. I was in and out of here in less than an hour with no appointment (although I should start doing so). They accept walk-ins. I had my wedding hair done here yesterday - I'd never met the stylist as I like 400 miles away! It looked stunning. I was made to feel completely at home and, in the stylists words, the hair style evolved as we were talking! I went in for a boho casual updo and came out with a relaxed, 1940's Judy Garlandesque tumble of curls and loveliness. So many people commented on my hair and how stunning it was. They couldn't believe it was all mine (my hairs only just shoulder length.) I don't have enough words of praise for the magic this lady wrought - I went from being a very stressed out and harassed mummy to being a beautiful bride in just under an hour. My experience at Queen Nail Salon in Brea, CA was by far the WORST nail salon experience I have ever had. I don't typically write reviews unless I want to seriously warn people against an awful place. I went in for a pedicure and came out with a broken big toe nail - down to point of bleeding, two bleeding cuticles, a horrid paint job and the woman trying to pocket my change - basically tipping herself. I have never been so mortified!!! I dont think this facility meets the standards for Nail Salons and I watched as all the employees failed to wash their hands, their equipment and the pedicure tubs where countless people put their feet. It was beyond DISGUSTING!!! Upon leaving I got a closer look at the devastation she had caused on my toes and I asked to speak with the manager. She refused to refund my money and asked to fix the pedicure - HOW CAN YOU FIX BLEEDING TOES?!! I was not about to let any of them touch me again. After refusing to let them fix it with their unsanitary hands and equipment she only refunded me 5 dollars. I have never received such service and I was in shock when the woman who mutilated my feet proceeded to pocket her own tip. I promptly said please give me my change and I proceeded to tip her NOTHING. I have never seen such unprofessional behavior. I have tried to report this salon to the Better Business Bureau but I was unsuccessful in finding them in the BBB database - go figure:( I wont give up though... Read Less

This evening was my first time at Queen nails. I had no problem makeing an appointment, the lady on the phone was very friendly , I did not have to repeat my self five times LOL. I have had nails on for ten years now and I am super picky about how I like them done, I am your worst client to have truely I am. I work as a hair stylist so my nails are a big party of my life I am naked with out them . A lady by the name of Karen did my nails( a full set pink and white powder) and i swear if there was ten stars i would give them ten stars ,I can not stop looking at my nails they look awesome just how i wanted them.
