Exxcel Nails is under new management and the new owner has made some wonderful changes! I have been going to Exxcel nails for a couple of years now and I have to say that Yen, the new owner,  is doing an amazing job.  I am very picky when it comes to my gel polish and I love that I don't ever have to ask Yen to fix a nail.  She always wants her customers leaving happy and makes sure you are given the best quality work.  Mary gives wonderful pedicures and is so sweet! They also have all kinds of new stuff and OPI Gel Colors.  The prices are fantastic as well! So happy with the new management. Read Less

Was excited to try based on the reviews and pictures. I even showed the nail tech pics from other reviews for the design. Like one of the other reviews said, it depends on who you get. Unfortunately, I got someone who while very sweet, was not that great at nail art. The design was lopsided and out of proportion. After showing pictures again, no improvement. I was tempted to just leave it as, go home and repaint my toes myself. The tech was working on me then had one of the other ladies do the design. There weren't any sample designs to choose from like many other salons have so the second tech said she'd just do it her way. It turned out ok. Not what I asked her to do, which was a simple flower and not a design that wrapped around my whole toe but ok. She finally understood what I was asking for and the final result was very cute.It would have been much easier had the first tech just deferred to her colleague initially. There was a misunderstanding with my usual nail place on a Saturday morning so decided to try Exxcel. There was no one there at a time when nail salons are most busy. The owner (forgot her name) did my nails and she was really nice and friendly. But she wasn't as precise about the shaping and coloring of my gel nails. Didn't color evenly around the cuticles, which is what I specifically look for. Probably won't come back. Stay with what you know, especially with nails. Read Less

The people here are friendly and low pressure, comparatively speaking. But, my feet are left in about the same condition they came in. If the standard procedure would not fix the dry skin patches on my feet (minimal) then I wish someone would have shown be what thy tried and offered me an additional solution. I felt bad even asking for more because the people who were told it was only going to be a 5 minute wait, had already been waiting for 30. I didn't want to contribute more to that. The worst part of the experience was the pricing. I walked in (no one was there) because there was a $15 pedicure sign. I asked how much it would be to have gel. They told me $20. They asked if I wanted a manicure and I said, "no." They asked multiple times and I said I didn't need a manicure. I was very clear. So when the total was $30,  I was surprised and asked why the price had changed. They just said $20 was for a manicure (that I never mentioned and said no to multiple times). I don't think I will be going back, regardless of how nice they were until the pricing hiccup. I'm not sure how I could have been more clear and I don't want to risk another mistake. Read Less

I really like this nail salon!  They are family owned and everyone is so nice and helpful there! They all do their best to bring you 110% customer service. Mai, is the lady who does my manicures and pedicures. She does a great job!  The only thing I recommend is that you bring your patience with no agenda or time frame planned for the day. They take a little longer than some other salons I've been to. They take their time and don't treat you like a number or try to rush you out the door. Even if there are other customers waiting. On 1/15/15 my younger daughter and I went in for a pedicure and gel nails for my other daughters  wedding the next day. Ann was very nice and professional. They did do a fantastic job. I will definitely recommend  excel nails to friends! Read Less

This was my first time here. I asked, but was told there are no coupon specials. No biggie. I saw a little lawn sign saying "organic pedi $15". I got my pedi and decided on polka dots before she put the top coat. The dots look GREAT! However I kinda wish there were all the same size. She didn't ask, but I didn't tell her either. Also wish my big toes weren't cut quite so short and rounded at the edges. But it's ok. Overall I'm happy with the result for the price. They said polka dot on big toes $5 and dots on all toes a couple bucks more. So it's a good deal. They were short staffed so my ability to pay took time. But I wasn't in a hurry and yacked it up with another client. It was a good experience and I would go back again. Read Less

I just moved to town and wasn't sure where to go. I came here on impulse because I happened to be in that shopping center, and I am glad I did! Mai was fantastic!
