I had ombré nails done by Kelly. They turned out so beautiful! She took her time because she wanted to make sure they looked perfect. I believe it was $56 for the ombré nails. i have been coming here for years. i will not return on a sunday. don't you love being in the middle of a group of 5 girls speaking a different language- looking at ur nails- and laughing. oh and that same group eating on the service floor. right next to you in the spa chairs. disgusting. pedi was ok. gel mani was a mess. cutting the cuticles was painful- pulled hard every cut. she was sanding off the gel off my skin that she put on so sloppy. when it wouldnt sand off, she use the cuticle cutters to cut it off my skin. unprofessional ladies. i paid $60 for something i could've done at home. so disappointing Read Less

Very disappointment. They are dishonest and can't be trusted. The first time I went to Cosmo, I went open minded. Wasn't really too concern with prices, just the quality.(I went into Cosmo with round nails and came out with almond which I didn't ask for)When I was ready to pay they explained all the charges. There was an extra $3 for reshaping. Why? I came in with round shape and the nail tech shaped them almond without my asking. The receptionist showed me the chart of the shapes( I'll post the chart) that they don't charge for. Square, round and oval no extra charge. Almond, coffin, and the stiletto  they charge. Fine, I let it go because I figured it was my mistake for not making it clear.3 weeks later, I went to Cosmo giving them a second chance. I explained to the nail tech that I came in three weeks ago with round and whoever did my nails shaped them almond. When it was time for me to pay there was the extra charge for reshaping. WHAT? Why? I asked to look at the chart and the receptionist said she doesn't know what I was talking about because she just started. Then she asked the nail tech, they ended up charging for the round shape. Came here for the first time 2 weeks ago & my acrylic gel is still holding up! Jennifer did my nails & eyebrows, did a wonderful job on them. They had exactly the color I have been wanting! I love getting my rock stars gel color for special occasions & around the holidays when you want that extra pizzazz!!! They cost a little more than regular glitter gel polish but they last several weeks longer and their glitter keeps it lustre. Clean beautiful nail salon with great service!! This ended up being the worst dip manicure I have ever had. She said the color would match my toes and does not, my nails are red and toes are pink. My nails are rigid and not shiny. They are uneven and stained. I went back and asked for a refund since I had gone on my lunch break. The more I looked at them the worse it was. They would not issue me a refund and all I received was a gift card, not my money back. I do NOT recommend getting dip nails here. I didn't end up getting my nails done here, which is unfortunate since I really wanted to check the place out. It looks really nice inside. Walked in and saw the sign that said "cash only tips" and since I don't generally carry cash, this is a GIANT turn off for me. Guess I'm going elsewhere today and will have to try another time. How fabulous is this place! Clean, disinfect utensils after each use, friendly staff- What's not to love? Was getting my nails done in Fullerton until my daughter suggested this salon. HORRIBLE!!!!! First time coming the 2 out of 4 girls there are RUDE!!! I asked for full set with gel. The girl didn't even file me nails properly!! She later coated my nails with the wrong gel-colored. By the 3rd nail she had colored I noticed and I told her. She kept saying "yea yea yea, I fix" she kept coloring with the wrong color. I told her I didn't want her to over coat my nails with the correct color as it would look bad. EXACTLY what I asked her NOT_TO_DO, she does. She coated my nails FIVE times to have look somewhat the color I initially asked for. I ended up with nails coated 6 times +the clear gel. They look THICK, like if an unexperianced person did my nails. I mean this place is not your cheapest nail place. I dont mind paying for my nails. If I want good nails I know I will pay $$$ but, when they are worst on doing nails than my 13 year old daughter. I take that back even my 13 year old daughter knows not to over-coat her nails. The lady gets up and yells she will not do my nails anymore. I am like FINE_LADY. I dont want you to continue doing a disgusting job on me anyways. The wanna-be manager comes and she starts giving me more B_S its like can they JUST ADMIT they did a horrible J.O.B!!!!! like please, just admit. IF you do and apologize for not listening I am even willing to pay full price and tip you. But, NO! later on as the girl sitting next to me agrees of the ugly job and tells them I kept telling the nail girl to not over-coat. She agrees the job is horrible she asks to give her another 30 minutes of my time to do a better job. Like, REALLYYYY you make be mad by denying your disgusting job and than wants me to give her more time. NO, LADY!!! I tell her I am paying for the material of the nails, but not the job. She priced the material at $28, like I am naive and not know that is the price of the full case of nails they buy. I say I am giving you $20 (I am still trying to pay something). She says, let me correct myself. She YELLS...NO!!! I am like here GO CHARGE, like i have more time to waste with you. Charge the $28...she is talking about me while I am standing in front of her in her native language. Like have manners and speak English. I am Hispanic and not even I do that, that is plain RUDE. I walk out as I am tired of dealing with them and leave my friend behind with my card to pay. My friend later says, she kept telling other customers I wanted a FREE JOB. REALLY lady, I wanted a FREE JOB. YOU should be ashamed of yourself speaking of your customers behind their backs. And still OVER_CHARGING people for bad jobs. Would I come here again? NO, thank you! ALL they have going here for themselves is the decor and wine selling (I wonder if they are even allowed or have a proper permit to to sell alcohol). Anyways- I am going off topic. I wouldn't go to a place where they wont admit when they are wrong and try to fix it, before they screw the job worst. I hope the manager or owner reads this and talks to their employees on proper customer service and pep talks to them about admitting and listen to the customer as soon as they voice that something is wrong. The lady seriously sucks my eyebrows are perfect shape and she messed up my arch and everything seriously just don't get your eyebrows done there I didn't complain while I was there because I didn't want to cause a scene but just wanted people to know. Officially switching nail salons today!! I used to go to JJ Nail in Placentia but after a couple of bad acrylic jobs I decided that it was time for a new salon. I came on a Tuesday afternoon so they weren't too busy. They were all very nice, the salon is very clean, and the prices weren't too unreasonable. $33 for an acrylic fill with gel. They also offered me an array of herbal teas, coffee, or water while I got my nails done. My only complaints would be that their color selection isn't too fantastic and that the girl knicked me with the nail file and didn't clean the blood up. But aside from that, it was an overall pleasant experience and I absolutely enrolled in their rewards program as I do intend on going back again! Read Less

Five stars. I couldn't ask for anything more. Well, it was so relaxing I could have used a glass of wine. But seriously, once you have come here you will be ruined elsewhere. Karen is just amazing! And from what o can see, everyone here is very professional and talented. The technicians here are meticulous and truly tailor your experience to you. I appreciate that they did not once try to up sell me! You do not feel rushed even on a busy day and they certainly do not talk about you like they do in other salons. If you like gel, they have one of the largest selections of beautiful colors. The pedicure is also impressive. Everything here is what you would expect from a high end nail salon. I was shopping in the area and saw this Nail Bar. Took a look at my mom's hands and toes and knew she wanted a manicure and pedicure. We were nicely greeted the moment we walked thru the door by the receptionist. She explained all the different types of manicures and pedicures and offered us a glass of water while wechoose the color. My mom was then taken to an available spa chair where she got a massage while the technician worked on her hands and feet. The service was great and the ambiance was unlikely other nail salons I've been too. I saw little girls getting their nails done too. Women sure love their manicures and pedicures. I would highly recommend this place due to service, cleanliness, ambiance, and the skills of the techs. My mother loved her hands and feet (pictures attached).
