What a gem! My daughter found Golden Nail Salon on Yelp. I moved to this side of town and could not find a nail salon I liked. I started with Thua and Tanya and have used Bella, Natalie and everyone else. They are all incredibly friendly and very professional. They really know how to care for your cuticles and your nails. Tanya is an absolute pro as are all the employees. It is incredibly reasonable for the service they provide right in the heart of Beverly Hills. I am sure the rent is ridiculous! Whether you work in Century City, visit the Peninsula, live near by or are driving through, this salon is worth a try. I've had acrylic nails for over 20 years, and Golden is the absolute best.  I can now go every three weeks instead of two, because they look great for that long! The pedicure is top notch too! My husband comes with me for the regular mani/pedi, and loves his experience here. We always book our appointments a few days in advance to ensure  availability, the shop isn't loud, the staff is wonderful  and parking is always easy. We are so happy to have found this business. i have to re-edit my review. i went here probably four-five times. on the last visit i nearly got up and walked out mid manicure. the owner's daughter who works there full time and is maybe the manager seems to go out of her way each time to make new people feel uncomfortable and like they are "outsiders," making snide remarks and exaggerated comments. it's almost like a high-school attitude. very strange. i went down the street to a friendlier place and have never been back since. I really liked the owner herself and the staff i had met, but unfortunately in close quarters you cant get away from her daughter's rude comments and obnoxious attitude. shame. Read Less

*~Overdue review~*I stumbled upon Golden Nail the day before my wedding, as I was desperately seeking for a salon to squeeze me in last minute (in order correct a botched gel mani I got the previous night). Thank god everywhere else in the vicinity was booked, otherwise I wouldn't have discovered this little gem of a salon. The owner, Thua, was extremely accommodating and took me in right away. As an added bonus, the salon ended up being down the street from where I live! Bella is an absolute pro. She was very meticulous and did an impeccable job at redoing my blotchy looking nails (blech). I highly recommend this place and refuse to get my nails done anywhere else. Tua, the owner, is a true artist and a perfectionist, and she only hires excellent folks under her. This is a small salon with only 6 spots, which gives it a wonderfully intimate feel--but that does mean you should call ahead if at all possible because they don't always have the room for walkins. I also love that Tua still does things old school - pedicures are done with individual tubs, which is much more sanitary than those massaging footbaths you find in some of the larger salons, and the nail techs spend an incredible amount of time taking care of your cuticles, massaging your hands with lemon and oil, and fixing any chips/cracks in the nail, so you get a lot more than just a coat of polish. Everyone at the salon is incredibly attentive and accommodating, and they always work to squeeze me in when I need it. I've even thrown a bachelorette party and done various girls nights here with great success. Pricing is reasonable, especially for Beverly Hills. Parking is mostly street and availability can be hit or miss, but it's easy walking distance from Century City for folks nearby who want to grab a mani/pedi during lunch or after work. This is the only salon i go to now since I moved to Los Angeles. I tried a few other salons in Beverly Hills and they were awful. Did fast, careless work without talking to me at all. I always get my nails done by Thua and pedicure from Bella. Thua is the owner and has so much passion for her clients. She treats me like a friend not a client. All the stylists are gentle and everything is clean. My nails are impeccable and I'm always getting compliments. I refer all my friends and family here and they all have wonderful experiences! I made an appointment and was 15 mins late, but they sat me right away. I had a gel manicure done and asked the technician to match a photo of ombré white/French nails, and she experimented with a few different shades on her nails before painting mine. It turned out amazing (see picture) and I'm so happy with it. Bella took me for a last minute appointment a couple hours before my company holiday party earlier this month and she did a fantastic job. I have not been able to find anyone that does as quality a job on my french manicures as my nail girl Kelly from back home, so finding this place (on yelp, of all places) was a Godsend. It was horrible !! Do not go there ! Poor quolity ! Rude staff ! I did gel and it wasn't even 24 h one nail came out . When this woman was doing my nails she didn't even look at them . I got the single worst manicure done at another nail salon. So I decided to go to this nail salon to have them fix the job and they did! The workers were so sweet, they listened to be complain about the other nail salon for like 20 minutes. Just had the best mani/ pedi!!First and foremost, they are the NICEST people. I needed a special manicure for a wedding and they were able to replicate the picture perfectly and didn't even charge extra for the design. I personally thought the prices were super reasonable (was way cheaper then I expected for the area). Plus they did an overall fabulous job cleaning and my cuticles and caring for my nails. I love this place. The woman who owns the salon is so kind and considerate. She's an extremely hard worker. Her daughter is as well. I like going to the Peninsula hotel to get a massage, but I'd rather go to this salon across the street for nails - they do a better job at a reasonable price. I work in nearby Century City and was in need of a good manicure and pedicure. My usual frequented nail salon was a bit too far off for me and I would have never make on time before they closed (7:00 pm). There is just too much traffic coming from Beverly Hills to Hollywood around 5:00 pm.I perused through a lot of reviews of local nail salons and called a couple of them asking if they had room for a walk-in. The two places I called did not have any room at all and asked if I wanted to come in the next day. I declined these offers.Finally, I decided to call Golden Nail which was only 5 minutes away from my job. A nice lady answered and told me to come on in. Parking was easy for me. I was able to find a spot right in front of the place.There was no one in the nail salon except for the owner named Thoa. She was so welcoming! I really felt like I was visiting an aunt's house. I opted for the gel manicure and she went to work. Wow, I've never seen someone take so much time on my nails. She really removed all the cuticles around my nails and they were absolutely perfect. PERFECT.This was my second time getting a gel manicure (the first time being in Baltimore, MD). The lady in Baltimore did NOT remove any cuticle, but I did not know they were supposed to. Then I came to Golden Nail and realized that gel manicure was the worst ever.My nails were perfect and I had never seen my cuticles looks so clean and beautiful. She literally took about two hours on my nails. Lisa did my pedicure which was also amazing.These women actually care about you here!I went yesterday for a new gel manicure and Thoa hugged me and kissed me. I brought along a coworker and she was very appreciative. She even cut up watermelon and served us something to drink while we got our nails done. Seriously, I felt like I was a family member's house just catching up.WHO DOES THAT AT A NAIL SALON???
