UPDATE:: Changing from a 2-star to a 3-star, because damned if they didn't do a great job. My nails just now started to chip... after a work trip, a weekend in Vegas, 5 swim workouts, and countless showers. This knowledge, plus the convenient location, mean I'll be back.---**Yelp 100 Challenge 2017 41/100**Zero-frills, busy salon located in the Golden Triangle area of Beverly Hills. I work basically next door, Let me preface my review by saying I do NOT go to nail salons "regularly" aka my nails are bare half the time; I'd say i to once every 6-8 weeks to get them done. The worst part about leaving this review is that this coudl've been EXACTLY what I was looking for. I don't go to nail salons to relax; I go usually because I have a work meeting or vacation that I want my nails to look pretty for. With that in mind, things that other people didn't like are actually Pro's for me. See details below:PROs:-Came in at 12 for mani-pedi and was started immediately, no appointment required. This is why there are so many people milling around - they have a TON of girls available. For my, not a detractor.-Out the door/done in 25 minutes. For me, HUGE pro, because I can be in/out during my lunch break. Huzzah.-Nails look great when they were done.-Good selection of regular polish, with high-quality brands.-CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN. Everything is very hygienic, with tools sealed in individual packages marked "pre-sterilized". Honestly, this is worth the higher price tag, since I use my hands at work and ALWAYS have little cuts all over my fingers that I'm worried about getting infected.-Let me use my credit card without any attitude!!! AHHHHHH!!! (I brought cash for tip, as always)CONs:-A little pricey ($36) for basic mani/pedi. HOWEVER, I didn't factor this in as it's a crazy expensive area and with that in mind, it's reasonable. However...-Manicurist (Vanessa, courtesy of the name tag she was wearing) was in such a rush she forgot to give me a hand/arm massage. Granted, this is not super important to me, but for $36 I expect something. She didn't say a word, but after my polish on my hands was done, she gave me a half-assed rub on the middle of my palms, which I didn't enjoy because I was so afraid of smudging. Then, had the nerve to give me major shade when I didn't tip her generously (she still got a 15% tip, mind you.).-Pedicurist's "massage" was a joke, but at least she remembered. One additional note: Vanessa missed my edges on multiple fingers while doing my initial manicure; however, she also went back without me having to say anything and fixed every single one. I really, REALLY appreciated this, and it makes me think that she was probably having an off day forgetting my hand/arm massage. Doesn't make up for the SHADE she was throwing when she messed up and didn't even offer an apology. Will wait to see if my nails stay for any reasonable amount of time. If they last, would return and give it another shot. If the edges are chipping in a day or two, I'll cross it off the list of options entirely. Read Less
