Went to this place because of the reviews, thought I’d give it a try. Got my nails done last Monday (I get dip gel nails) and they were so thin they started cracking, and breaking which caused my nails to start breaking also she built the nail on top of my cuticle so as they grew out my hair kept getting caught in the nails from the top to the cuticle. Here I am a week later and my nails have separated from the Gel acrylics and they keep breaking. Went in today to get them fixed and all they did was file down the already week product and apply a gel top coat. She had to replace two nails and she filed my nails down so much that they are now tender and sore. I’m going to have continuous breakage because there my nails are weaker than when I came in. My nails are lopsided and many of them aren’t even the same shape. I’m so disappointed. I do nails and have been doing nails for a long time, I know for a fact the procedure she used to do my nails was wrong, I should have just went somewhere else. I want to cry. Read Less

This was my first time at Duke's and my first time getting the Gel dip from them. They informed me that they use the UV light before they started. They told me to choose a color as they pulled out a dusty box which contained the powders thrown in. I thought that was very unprofessional and gross. I continued to pick a color and sat down with Lisa who was very nice and took her time with my nails. I was happy when I left and the price was good. However, the next morning I'm looking at my nails to realize they're already messed up. The gel is supposed to prevent from chipping and I don't believe my nails or the tips of my nails were properly covered. Even though Lisa paid attention to the cuticle area, you can see that the paint is far above my cuticles. Was a regular customer for years but got tired of the hit n miss service, you'll get good service if they're not busy but they'll totally ignore your existence if they have enough customers, sat there for 15 minutes and no one even greeted me or asked me what I needed done. After 5 attempts between San Francisco and Beaumont, I FINALLY found a nail place that can do multiple and trendy kinds of acrylics and manicures. I've been wanting a pink and white ombré full set for awhile and have had no luck finding a salon that knows how to do one. Kelly at Duke's nails knew exactly what I wanted and made it happen with no questions or confusion. My pedicure was great, I got exactly what I asked for without any up-selling or unwanted services like most salons in the area. I was taken care of quickly, both technicians were very friendly and communicated well. My only complaint is the ambiance. The sound level that the employees speak to each other with is quite a high decibel. Whenever employees receive a phone call on their personal phones, they step away from their clients and proceed to have a conversation with the other person on speaker. These conversations then catch the attention of the other technicians who chime in or join the speaker phone conversation. I find this very unprofessional but I won't write a bad review purely on that. I just hope it's something they can become aware of and correct. Their customer service is amazing and they're so friendly which I don't get a lot from other nail salons. I love my nails and have finally settled with Duke's. The roughest manicure of my life.. Followed by the most botched powder dip/sns. Waited 20mins .. not bad for nail shop walk in. But I ended up with the whackest nail tech ever. She plucked instead of nipping my cuticle. She actually drew blood on one finger. Then she applied the powder and polish OVER what was left of my cuticles. And they were lumpy and uneven. 2 days later I'm at home nursing myself with vitiman E oil. I haven't been back here for four years . The last time I was there I went to get my eyebrows waxed the lady ripped off half my eyebrow and didn't even tell me . When I went home I went to wash my face and that's when I realized half my eyebrow was GONE ! Worst part about it it was a week before my wedding day . I just went back because I needed a quick pedi before picking up my kids from school down the street thought well maybe I'll give it a second shot .. big mistake . While the girl was giving me a pedi , one of her regulars comes and stops my pedi for like 10 just to talk to her into staying while she's done with me . RUDE . I'm in a little rush and I tell her this in the beginning and now I'm 10 min late picking up my kids . Second while she was draining the water after the pedi . There was the disgusting smell coming from the chair , it smelled like sewer water . Like it hasn't been cleaned in awhile . Now I have a fungal infection. That's the last time I'll ever go there. Not many people know this but they do eyelash extensions! I got the single lash extensions done by Lynda and she did a great job. They came out very natural and full. She was very gentle and patient and constantly asked if I was okay which I thought was very considerate. Anna does the lashes as well but she does the ones they're multiple in one. But anyway, I'd recommend getting lashes from here. Make sure you ask how to take care of them though bc there are a few things you have to be cautious about. Read Less

Dukes is my go-to nail place. Literally the only place I will go to for nails, pedicures, eyebrow wax any of it.I Faithfully get Duke for my acrylic sets he is amazing I can show him a picture of what I want and he will make it look identical. My edges never lift,  my tips never snap off. They have a wide selection of colored acrylic which is a big deal to me. But they also have a wide selection of gel and regular nail polish. I always get tom for my pedicures. He's fantastic and super creative. When I get designs I just let him do whatever he wants and I'm more than happy every time.  I get Kelly for my eyebrows and she always gets it right! Ask for Tracy!!! She is incredible. She's sweet and funny all while being very meticulous and careful in making sure that you leave happy. Outside of creating what you want on your nails, she also understands the health of your nails, so listen to her when she advises you on how to take care of them.One time I had an infection because I cut my hangnail incorrectly and she was able to get in there and clean up the mess I made. It took two sessions, but now, instead of having a nail that refused to grow straight, I'm feel confident enough to wear sandals.I've also had Kelly, who is also a great artist. These are the only two women I trust at Duke's to do my gel manicures and eyebrows. Kelly always makes sure my eyebrows stay full and shaped. They're never too thin and she knows how to work the wax. I have came here a couple times for pedicures and eyebrows with my daughter and all has been ok until this last time. They waxed so close to my daughters eye, two days later, she still is bright red! My first time having them do my finger nails and they look like crap! Not one nail is evenly covered with top coat, bubbles are everywhere and, they  are already chipping! Never again will I come to dukes! Now I have to find someone to fix my nails today! Update: my daughters skin started scabbing and peeling where they waxed took low. Horrible service . Walk in for a simple gel manicure Had a previous manicure on my nail so the nail tech guy had to of course remove the Gel prior. He decided to start peeling of my nail gel . This is 4 + weeks after seeing Duke. And this is the reason why I consistently go back to Dukes nails. Over a month later no cracking, no peeling, no lifting and most importantly no breaking.Duke is always amazing and gives me exactly what I'm looking for. I can bring in a picture of what I wanted to and when he's finished it looks exactly like the photo, no variations. (unless I Ask Of course) and if I don't know what I want he'll come up with something amazing.  TomTom is a wizard at pedicures and does phenomenal designs.
