After having 5 different salons turn me away I found my way here , lucky enough to meet and have Micah as my hair dresser today she left me feeling beautiful and amazing. I will only come to her from here on our even tho everyone in this salon has been amazing and super friendly. I would recommend this salon to everyone looking for a good hair dresser. I've been looking for a hairstylist since I moved to Bakersfield a year and a half ago from the East coast.  I found Micah and instantly knew I found her.   She is friendly,  professional,  and amazing.   I love my highlights/ color and cut.   I would highly recommend her to everyone.   She cares and wants took help you look your best. I have gone to his salon 4 times, twice to Stephanie, and twice to Toni Brewer. Stephanie is an excellent colorist, one of the best I have ever had - which means a great deal since I have had my hair colored by some of the best of Beverly Hills. The only problem is trying to track her down to get an appoinment and she tends to cancel atthe last minute (numerous times this happened). Toni, on the other hand, came highly recommended but knows absolutely nothing how to properly color hair. I gave her a second chance and when she didn't do it correctly again, she refused to correct it. The ONLY reason I am giving a seond star is because the salon receptionists are very friendly. The massages are AWESOME! It would be even cooler if while getting one they didn't use the overhead speaker to announce customer arrivals. It's quite loud in the massage room and doesn't help with relaxation! Read Less

Took my daughter here to get her legs waxed. Traci did an amazing job! She not only talked my daughter through the waxing she also took her time. Traci is very detail oriented, professional and patient. Pricing for leg waxing was reasonable. Will be back in four weeks, and every month after! Read Less

This salon was terrible. I purchased an shampoo/conditioner combo pack for color treated hair, used it for a few days and then realized it was killing my hair. I called the salon, assuming they had some sort of procedure in place as I'm sure this is not the first time this has happened before. I explained the situation, stating that I had only used the shampoo/conditioner twice and was told returns had to occur with a receipt, within 60 days, and only for unused products. When I asked what if the product I had paid good money for was killing my hair, I was put on hold and passed to another associate, who I'm assuming was the manager, but was only given the name Carly, with no title. I was told that I could not return the product and she suggested giving the product to a family member as a Christmas gift, which was absolutely outrageous. I will not going to give used shampoo/conditioner as a gift and will certainly not be purchasing any more items from a salon that thinks this is an acceptable practice. I was stunned and horrified by their policies, procedures, and customer service. I would not suggest this salon to anyone. Read Less

Serenity Salon & Spa is absolutely amazing! I went in here to get a facial and realized they have completely remodeled. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly, assisting me in picking out some great skincare products and my facial was perfect!
