My pedicure was okay he didn't even scrub my feet for a second. Then the guy doing my nails burned me with the drill so they had a women do the ombre and she didn't know how to do what I wanted... she stared to do pink and white then I realized it was regular not omre she hurt me by trying to RIP it off so I did it myself...Also they use the same file on different clients and were required by state board to use a different file on each client how I know I's I'm a licensed professional myself.... she rushed through my nails it was the worst experience was here for over three hrs the only good outcome was the massage on my feet and didn't have to pay for my nails... will not return until they get more people that are professional Read Less

I have gone to this Salon for many many years.  Peter was my absolute favorite but he has moved to his own salon now.  However, this review is not for Peter but for the new Owners that have taken over.First off, the entire place is very very clean and redone.  It looks very fresh.  They even cleaned the sidewalks outside as well.  They will give you a guarantee card with the kind of polish you have, the date and nail techs name on it in case of chips or cracks.  They will redo for free.  All polishes are organized and clean.  This place is now nice and such a treat to go to. I don't go here for my nails I only go here for my eyebrows. Nancy does them. She is quick and nice. My brows are done pretty well. They are $9 if you pay cash and $10 if you use card. I noticed she doesn't completely wax the middle of your eyebrows which is odd but that's I fine I can pluck that when I get home. She does a nice little massage at the end of the wax. Read Less

Would not ever go back again!!! They had horrible service! Mother, maid of honor, and I went in to get our nails done for my wedding this weekend. Woman had a crappy attitude to my mother when asking a question. Two men did mine and my maid of honors nails. I had a fill and she did a new set.  The man who did a new set on my moh put pink on the nail which she didn't want. She asked him to get clear like mine because they need to look more natural. He said no it looks better with pink and she insisted on changing it but he was denying to do it because he can't, it looks better. I came in with a fill with one nail off and he purposely losses two of my nails to replace them so he can charge me more. So rude of these people to give us horrible service especially the week of my wedding. Unbelievable how they don't care one bit of there customers. Will never go back again! Read Less

Where is Peter? I use to go to Peter at Oildale Nails but he's no longer working there. The other guy is rough and weakened my nails by filing all of my natural nails during a gel only color change. It took me several months to grow my nails out again because they kept breaking due to being filed too much. I'd like to know what shop Peter is working at! They didn't remove all of the old polish and told me that it was paint on my finger and made me bleed when taking off the prior tips. The nail started lifting after just a few days and I had to go to another place to get it fixed.Hope your experience is better. Read Less

Oildale nails is near where I live and shop but I can't understand why I haven't been here sooner?! It's in a convenient shopping center that houses lots of chain businesses and a local restaurant. It is nothing fancy. Know that and don't expect that. If you're looking for a place to go for a quick wax or a pedicure. This is a nice place for that type of service. My daughter and I came here for our weekly pedi date and really enjoyed it here. The employees were super friendly, nice and happy to see my daughter in there. As a mother that made me so relieved and happy. At many of these type places that I've frequented, I have gotten mean looks, eye rolls at places before because I choose to bring my daughter. Not at Oildale Nails!! They treated her like a paying customer that she was and not some heathen. She's a well behaved kid which is why I take her out for mommy and me pedi dates. We both enjoyed our pedis. The lady employee made us feel comfortable and helped us pick out a super pretty polish. We are happy with our paws. I might stop in soon for a mani. they are so rude!!!! they don't clean their utensils. they would just use the same stuff on different people with out sterilization! !! it was 6:30, they close at 7 and they were being so rude to people walking in!!! just say you don't want to work and call it a day!!!Read Less

Had the worst pedicure ever. Went with my mother in law and I was done 30 minutes before she was. No base coat or top coat. He cut my nails crooked and they started chipping the next day. Pathetic. When I arrived, the place was empty except for a lady in the corner who was talking on the phone. She said something 3 times before I realized she was speaking to me instead of her phone. I told her I wanted a Pedicure. Out comes this guy who says..."Sit here". No hello, no smile, no nothing. He had a frown on his face. I asked him...."Do you like your job?" He said "Yeah" without even looking up! He gave me my pedicure without saying one word. When he was done, he just left me there. I didn't know if he went to get something else or if I was done. Finally I just assumed I was done, went and paid and left. It's an okay Pedicure, but very unprofessional...very unfriendly..and NO I won't go back. Read Less
