Terrible service the guy that did my nails watches football the whole time my nails ended up croaked . I asked for chrome and he got the dust all over the other nails and left it there. Very sloppy job and when I told him I wasn't satisfied with his work he told me he can repolish them for 20 dollars. Never attempted to try and fix the problem. Read Less

A younger girl from Orange county did my nails and toes. She took her time and did a great job. She paid attention to detail and the shape was on point. I did just a polish change on my toes and she still cut and filed them. She's also super sweet and great conversation. Salon is clean and well priced! I'm live in Los Angeles and happened to be up this way and had to kill some time. Just as good as a flashy LA manicure if not better! She's great! Read Less

If there was a 0 star rating I would give this place this. Reasons why:1. The water was literally so hot I couldn't bare to keep my feet it. I couldn't even put my feet in all the way. It was probably as hot as your average latte. I asked them to turn it down at least 2 times and they weren't really paying attention nor did they act like they cared. 2. All they do is talk to eachother. They don't connect with the costumers. 3. My friend I went with asked to get her eyebrows waxed, but they were too busy chatting with eachother to even hear her! They also ignored her several times when she tried to talk to them.4. They were digging into my friends skin. I get you're trying to get the callus off but not so rough. 5. After callus removal they left and didn't come back for 13 minutes! (We timed it) before they came back and finished my friends pedicure. You should stay with your costumer the whole time. 6. When saying we were paying in debit, the owner gave us a dirty look and said, "no cash or check?" Overall it was pretty sucky. I hope they see this and learn from this and better their store. First impression: Cute little place but find a different nail salon. Period. Or pay cash. It's called Nails Talk because they talk a lot lol. Gossip central. The Work: French pedicure on point but it was rushed and asked her nicely if she can thin the line more, she remarks, "Then no one would see it." XD I wished my nail tech would have taken her time but oh well. Customer Service:I should have told myself to kindly leave when the Water was boiling hot... she didn't even check if the temp was ok, no apologies. And when it came down to paying, I used my credit card and she almost charged me $400 y'all I kid you not. But then unfortunately, I guess it was destiny, she entered the wrong number... my total price was supposed to be $46 but she entered $64 :/ she was upset at herself I can tell, and the owner didn't even apologize! Lol! She gave me the difference which is fine and I asked KINDLY if they can reverse it but she said she didn't know how lmfao. After this, their friendly demeanor was wiped out... instead they had an attitude like it was my fault that her worker entered the wrong number. Huh??? Lol! Not even a sorry or goodbye. I wish them the best of luck and I advice the owner to train her employees how to work on the credit card machine. Read Less

About a year and a half ago I was finally convinced by my wife to go to get a pedicure. I'm an oilfield worker and my boots cause bad ingrown toenails. Great place to come with out a appointment.  This is the place I like to come with my friend her and I love to come here .  There so nice and talk to U, not just to each other. called to see how soon they could get my daughter in to get her nails done for graduation and the lady told me if she could come right now she would get done right away.  My wife got her there within 10 minutes and was told it would be a 20 minute wait just to get a chair.  My wife explained that I had called and the lady just ignored what she was saying. When I had acrylic nails I used to come here every two weeks to get them filled and polished and had nothing but good experiences.  Two years ago I went back to having natural nails and hadn't been back until yesterday when I returned to get a manicure and pedicure.When I entered the shop one of the older ladies who works there recognized me and started chatting pleasantly with me while I got set up in one of the eight pedicure chairs.  They also have seven manicure stations, but I told them I was in a hurry so they did both services on me at the same time.  She did my nails while a younger girl worked on my toes.  I love their massage chairs, and really wouldn't mind waiting if I could just sit in them and get massaged, but they're pretty efficient here and keep things moving along almost quickly.My fingernails turned out beautifully.  I wanted a french manicure with white tips, but I didn't want to deal with them chipping so she did a gel undercoat, a french manicure, then a gel top coat.  My nails look great - shiny and perfectly shaped.The girl doing my pedicure did a really good job working on my calluses (I'm a dancer so my feet can get pretty bad) and shaping the nails, and the white tip polish she put on looked great, for about a couple of hours, and then started chipping.I'd give my nails 5 stars, but the pedicure only 2 stars.  I really think that if they'd used gel on my toes they would have turned out fine, but she should have been honest and told me that the french look wouldn't work on my toes without it. Argh.All in all, I've always liked this salon, but this visit definitely deserves a mixed review. Read Less

I'm giving one star because you have to; zero is not an option. I have been having a very difficult time finding a decent nail salon in Bakersfield, and this is definitely another one to cross off the list. First, they sat us in the pedicure chair and didn't even turn the water on for a good 20 minutes. Two women next to us turned it on themselves! Once they turned the water on, they left us soaking for about 30 minutes while they took care of other customers. The pedicure took about 30 minutes and there is polish all over my toes. Then we waited another 20 minutes before they even started soaking off my gel polish. (The guy got pissed when I wouldn't let him use the Dremel to sand it off.) The gel color that was in the bottle wasn't even close to the one I picked from the samples, but I didn't want to wait for him to have to take it off the nail and start again, so I have orange toes and pink nails.
