I truly appreciate the quality of service and offerings at Nail So Happy. My go-to tech, Tony is truly the BEST! On top of keeping my nails looking perfect, he has great conversation and never fails to keep me laughing. Overpriced. Unfriendly. Poor job. I simply got my nails gel painted (no manicure, no artificial nails, just a simple paint) and it was $25. The lady doing my nails just grunted instructions - or pointed - no actual words were spoken. She seemed completely put out that I was there and she was having to paint my nails. 2 years ago I made a poor decision to get a pedicure at Nails So Happy. After getting the pedicure I developed a toe fungus on one of my toes. Luckily it was a minor one that the dr was able to treat without any reoccurring problems. However, they also cut my big toe nails incorrectly causing me 3 ingrown toenails since then. Up until my pedicure I have never had any problems. :( I am posting this because I want to make to other people aware of this place and their poor hygiene practices before someone else suffers. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The level of service is poor. The guy who did my pedicure didn't even offer me anything other than the basic pedicure. He was rushing the whole way through and when I asked why he didn't offer the different types of pedicures I saw the other clients get, he said you didn't want it you're in a rush. At no point did I ever mention I was in a rush. The service was rushed and the polish sloppy. When I told him he began to argue and tried to charge me more than the cost for the actual service. The girl that did my manicure did a hack job on my cuticles and made me bleed. She also did not paint my nails well. She was repeatedly checking her phone and made no attempts at conversation other than trying to sell me more services. It's been 48 hours and the color has completely chipped off one finger and is coming off another. My polish stays better if I do it myself at home. Not a great manicure and the whole time she tried to sell me on waxing and a pedicure. And I am not sure she cleaned her tools. They just came out of a box and then went right back in after doing my cuticles. I got a gel polish and it has an air bubble on one nail. When I asked her to fix it she said it was normal. At $35 she should fix it! Now it looks terrible. And she did not fix the paint so it looks like my daughter painted my nails. Read Less

The staff was friendly, and talented in terms of nail designs, but that's their saving grace right now. I was in on July 2nd, by July 8th, I was back because the polish was chipping and coming off my toes completely, and now, 11 days after my visit, I have a total of 3 toes with original polish, I've attempted to match the polish on my other toes. But last night the entire big toe polish came off in one piece. I upgraded my pedicure, paid extra for nail design, and tipped very well for a pedicure that couldn't even make it to two weeks! Love it when Kathy & her husband are here. Peter did my nails today.. Ok ped. asked for sparkle got silver glitter over a super light pink nail .. Can't see the color of the nail on one big toe. Toe nails uneven. Hands had nice long nails .. Wanted to bring them down to match a shorter nail.. he cut them a lot. Wanted to take off gel and go with regular polish.. Bugged and bugged to go with gel. Started one nail after he decided on a color I didn't, I said I don't like it.. O...h yes good color for you. Kept going . rough edges. didn't even cut the skin off the edges asked me after he got topcoat all over the edges of my fingers if I wanted lotion. I was so mad ..I kept thinking " am I overreacting? OK so my wife loves this place and I go there for the pedicure just to get the massive callouses off of my man feet.  They do a great job of removing the callouses. I had a problem that really wasn't a big deal and put it in my review. I decided to try one more time and went back. The owner came to me (unsolicited) and apologized for the minor problem and I agreed to amend my review. I came back because they are such a nice group of people and they care enough to talk to me about any problems I have. In any event, I really like this place and the people who work here.  They are super sweet to my daughter and try hard to do a great job. I have decided to edit my review and add a star. I think knowing how much the owner cares and is willing to talk to me about it says volumes. I liked this place before and I still do.  Give them a try and see what you think. By the way, I am so happy I gave it another try. It was about the best pedi I have had Ina long time. Overall the place was nice and my pedicure was nice. But one older gentleman did my full set and it was the WORST set of nails I've ever had! Completely rushed and sloppy. I am still peeling acrylic off my skin hours later. He did not listen to anything I said or asked. I will never go back again and I do not recommend anyone going to this place. I had to ask him to file my natural nails so they weren't uneven from his drill before glueing the nails on and Gil down the mountain of acrylic he left under my nail and he acted as though it was a chore to do either of those simple things that SHOULD come with it. This is my go-to place for pampering. Usually, I go in for a simple pedicure which includes a hot stone massage at even the most basic levels. The polish lasts for an eternity because they do such a good job even without gel. I feel so spoiled when I get services here! Everyone is so kind and courteous. I would strongly recommend making an appointment if you go on the weekends or later hours. It can get busy. I've made an appointment and still have had to wait awhile. Took my boyfriend here so we could get pedicures, it was packed. We had to wait over 30 minutes. Once we finally did get in we sat in the chair, for another 20 minutes with out service. The guy that did my toes, cut me badly, blood everywhere he acted as if "no big deal" and didn't even apologize. Just put this glue type stuff over the cut. Wasn't impressed, also.. I took my sister in law for her birthday.  It's ok.  You get what you pay for.  You get a soak and color and a little massage with lotion and 1 min of stone massage, which I didn't even feel.  I noticed on their price sheet they charge extra to remove callus.  What's a pedi without removing callus.  Thank god it was winter and didn't need to worry about it.  I'll stick with mines, I get a soak, callus removed, salt scrub and a nice long foot reflexology massage.  Good for someone wanting to try out the basics and see what the hot stone feels like.  Not for me and won't be going back. I have been here twice, on consecutive days, and had two very different experiences.  Two days before Christmas I dropped in to take advantage of their waxing services.  The place was PACKED with people getting manicures and pedicures and they were well staffed to take card of them.  I was greeted immediately in spite of all the chaos and asked what services they could perform for me.  When I said I was interested in waxing, they sent me back immediately to a little room where a very friendly lady handled me quickly and efficiently and kept up a running friendly chatter about Christmas plans, both mine and hers.  I was in and out in well under 10 minutes yet felt she had truly attempted to make a connection.  The charge for a lip and brow wax is $14 which I believe is reasonable, though I mostly get them threaded so I'm not sure of the going rate.I returned the next afternoon, the day before Christmas, to try to fit a pedicure into my busy schedule of last minute Christmas errands.  There were only two workers here at 2:30 on the afternoon the day before Christmas, Amanda and a woman, and they were both busy.  There were several people waiting in chairs at the front and I was not greeted immediately, though the gentleman smiled at me as I signed in on their clipboard.  Luckily for me, two of the people waiting in chairs were just waiting for their friends to be done and one wanted a manicure so I was actually next in line.  I'd waited only about five minutes and they had magazines available to keep me entertained.Model Nails has six pedicure stations and the lady working there quickly finished with the woman in front of me and had me seated in one of them.  She even started the massage feature for me so I could get started relaxing.There are also six manicure stations. Ben, whose name I discovered when the lady getting her pedicure wished him a Merry Christmas, was busy doing a manicure, smiling at everyone the whole time.  He worked through several customers while I was there and every one of them had a smile on their face when they left.The water was warm and the jets felt good on my sore tootsies as I watched a talk show on the flat screen television hung on the back wall and enjoyed the kneading motion of the massage chair on my upper and lower back.  This is the life.I'm in the middle of a bad asthma flair up and my pedicurist expressed great concern over my coughing, offering to get me something to drink - a very friendly girl.  The salt scrub massage felt nice on my calves.  I am not into manicures, but I do so enjoy treating myself to a pedicure every once in a while.She did an excellent job of scrubbing away my callouses. My callouses are my favorite excuse to treat myself to pedicures.  If not properly managed they split until they bleed.  This woman did a lovely job! Next came the usual hand massage with lotion followed by the not so customary hot stone massage.  Most places only include the hot stone massage in their fancier pedicure options.  Model Nail includes it in their basic pedicure at a cost if $20, the same price other nail salons charge for their base level pedicure!Definitely a five star experience at a reasonable price!
