My husband, daughter, and I came in today for a range of services. This was our first time visiting. Giving 2 stars because my husband and daughter both said they enjoyed their pedicures. I received a full set and they don't look at all like what I asked for. I wanted short and rounded and received square tips and an attitude when I said I wanted them shorter. The polish is full of bubbles. I wish I would have had more time to get them fixed but we were in a hurry so I did not complain. I saw another review where someone said they offer wine here. I wasn't offered so much as a water. To top off the lacking service I received, the person doing my nails stopped in the middle of it to make a personal phone call. ETA Pics in comments. Read Less

Bad experience even after being A regular customer that tips well . I was there for a fill with gel Polish $56 gel pedicure .Remind you I'm a regular & they gave me someone they don't even work there & didn't even know what he was doing and & he rushed it to where I just said stop .. i will never go back to pay them to be disrespected to me & my time. Just wanted to get my nails painted cuz I didn't have the money to get the pedicure and the lady had a really bad attitude made me feel like I was a nobody probably will find another nail salon. First time in and received great treatment. My pedicure was better than any I have ever received. The nail tech really took her time and did an excellent job! Plus the inside of this place is gorgeous. They have an area for kids to get their nails done. Every other place I go into looks at me like I'm crazy for wanting my tween daughters to get their nails painted. I will definitely come back here every time. Read Less

We only went to one place before that because once we find someone good and doing nails we love to stick with them! But since we have gone here it's been an amazing experience! I love this nail salon. I live in Grandview and come all the way to Independence just to come here. I go every other week at about the same time, sometimes it takes longer than others because they are busy but they are always so nice. Ive had my nails done by each person there and they are all good, the pedicures are always wonderful! They always tell me what works or looks best, they are just all around awesome. Read Less

I will not be returning there the lady that did my pedicure used a sand pad and a beeter machine to use on the bottom of my feet only made them worse didn't remove anything she couldn't even get the gel nail polish done right almost have to start all over again but she pained over it and it still didn't do what it was supposed to it was rushed and I had nail polish all over my feet and not even covering my nail all the way deffinetly not worth your money not to mention the fact of how many times they nicked me with something and put the stuff right over my open wound to burn really bad Read Less

I was born and raised in Bakersfield but I now live out of state. I had to come to town unexpectedly for a family emergency and my mom tells me with less than 24 hours notice that she hired a photographer to do family photos since I'll be in town. I panicked and tried to touch up my roots myself....BIG MISTAKE. I ended up crying it looked so horrible. Saturday morning I reached out to every Bakersfield stylist I could find hoping someone had an opening, knowing it was a shot in the dark. I found Julia through her Instragram and I loved the photos she had posted of her work. I got ahold of Julia, and even though she was already booked Saturday, she agreed to stay late so she could fix my hair. (Keep in mind I was a new client and someone she had never met) The salon is in a great location on Rosedale High Way with ample parking. I showed up right on time and Julia was ready for me. We were the only two in the salon. She is super sweet, we chatted the whole time like two old friends, even though it was my first time meeting her. She listened to what I wanted and my hair turned out FLAWLESS! It hasn't looked this good in years. I will be forever grateful for Julia being willing to stay late and work me into her schedule. I have been going to Luxe for many years. Always happy with my nails done by Karrie and recently started getting my hair done by Marci. Staff is always friendly and salon is always clean. They also have a nice selection of product and I enjoy going through all the Lipsense colors. Read Less

I saw Raine today and no one should EVER go to her. She talks on her phone, leaves the building, reads her texts, talks to another stylist, and works in other clients for things that don't fit. I went in at 2, it started out fine but I ended up having color in my hair for an hour and 15 minutes at least, while she put foils in another girls hair. A one color dye job and a basic cut took 3 hours. Luckily it turned out fine, but she had the nerve to ask me to come back to her. YEAH RIGHT! Warn all of your friends-NEVER go to her. I went to Luxe after not having gotten a hair cut in over 5 years. Needless to say I had become very attached to my hair, but it had no shape. I went to Luxe knowing that I wanted to get the dead ends cut off of my hair and I wanted bangs. The stylist soothed my nerves right away and let me know that she would not do anything that I did not want her to do. After 5 years of no haircuts I had 7 inches of dead/split ends that had to come off, which still left my length below my shoulder blades, and I have bangs now, which I love. I am absolutely happy with my experience at Luxe and will go back for all future styling needs. $35 for getting exactly what I wanted is a very fair price.Read Less
