What a nice salon! From the moment I walked in the door, I was treated like I was special. Everyone was very professional and friendly. The salon is clean and the decor is current. I walked in with my hair in a ponytail hating it, and walked out loving it.I can't say enough about the woman that did my hair, Leah. She was great, she gave me a great cut and beautiful color. I just told her to do what she thinks will look good for the color and left the cut and length up to her. It's exactly what I had in mind only better. She knew exactly what to do for my curly hair, and she didn't try to make me look like everyone else out there. She listened to me and that's a big deal.I told Leah I wanted to try some new products and she introduced them to me slowly starting with what I needed the most, until I said stop, no high pressure sales. During the week, this salon is not overly busy and it is actually quite relaxing. And clean. They have a lot of quality hair product for sale to browse but I have never felt any pressure to buy. But, I did buy. No pressure tactics to me = more sales for the salon!The girls here are pretty friendly.I had 2 great visits and was wondering if this would finally be my regular salon. This is despite the fact that it is much further from my home than others I have visited.My third visit was horrible. My hair has looked pretty bad (washed out) the last 5 weeks but I have said nothing. I did cancel my next appt. No follow up by staff as to why and I lack the conviction to make a huge deal of it. It is only hair.Live and learn, moving on and I have to find somewhere else. Maybe it was just bad luck for me that day.If you do go here, try to park as close to the salon as possible as cars get broken into in the lot, notably beside the garbage dumpster. Read Less

Samantha has been my hairstylist for about two years now I have even followed her when she changed salons and honestly I would recommend her to anyone looking to change up their style with no risk of not loving it. Her communication is great and really gets an understanding of what you want done before she begins. She's so sweet and patient and really knows what she's doing. I have done just about every hair color/transformation and I've been in the process of bleaching my hair and it still feels soft and well taken care of. The best salon I've ever been to. I've been a client of Leah's for years and have used this salon since it opened. The owner and staff really care about their clients and want you to be happy. They work incredibly hard to make you beautiful and they are very talented. I'm not a natural beauty, but I always feel amazing and beautiful after my appointments with them. There is a comfortable, but chic vibe and the staff are trained in the latest techniques. I am absolutely in love with my hair after getting it cut and colored by Irene! I've been going to her for  the last several months and I leave every time feeling beautiful! I now refer to her as "The Hair Goddess." She took the time to get to know me and my hair routine and made sure to give me a cut that is flattering to my face shape. I keep my hair pretty long so it tends to get flat on the top due to the weight. Irene added in layers that blend perfectly and add volume without looking choppy. She also added some blonde highlights on my last visit to brighten things up for the summer and I'm in love with how natural they look! She even gave me a complimentary hair treatment when my hair was getting dry and taught me some great techniques for curling my hair. The salon itself is a beautiful and relaxing environment. Leah, Lauren and the team are amazing and so kind!!! I went in today to have my hair colored, conditioned and cut after a long while of neglecting it. I can't say how thankful I am for the way they pampered me and brought life back to my locks. My hair has become very dry from the medications I take and its also naturally curly so it tends to be on the drier side. Leah matched my natural color beautifully and covered my grey roots, gave me a Ouidad cut to enhance my natural curls while Lauren used a kerastase treatment and a beautiful blowout all with a curling iron tutorial so I can wear it naturally curly or styled! Really disappointed in Irene. I brought my young sister in to see her so she could get her hair cut from short to ultra short, but once my sister sat down and Irene found out what she wanted she said she didn't have enough time to do it... Ok fine, I get that, but she told my sister, "well let's see what I can do," anyways and continued to cut her hair, only to still not have enough time to complete the haircut and only give her a trim. So we still had to pay for a haircut, even though it wasn't what my sister asked for and Irene said if she had time to finish it the next day she would let us know... Why would we spend money on another haircut the day after the first haircut? It makes no sense and honestly my sister feels manipulated. If I hadn't been waiting in the front and knew what was happening, I'd had just told her we were leaving. Any stylist with common sense would have just had us reschedule. So frustrating! Read Less

This salon is now Ouidad certified. So I had to try it out. I have tried so many stylists who say they "know" curly hair. Ha! I anyways end up with a similar triangle hair cut no matter how many layers or how they dry cut my hair. So, I was so super excited to try a Ouidad certified stylist. There had to be a cut that would actually add style to curly hair, not just a cut. Brittany was AWESOME! She was friendly and knowledgeable. She listened to my curly hair problems and I felt she really listened. She cuts to each individual curl. Mind Blown!! Ladies, we don't have straight hair. Each curl is different from the other. Each curl needs attention. You will not be disappointed if you get your haircut by Brittany. I walked away a happy lady with beautiful gorgeous curls. Oh, yeah and I actually left a salon curly. Usually stylists are so eager to straighten my hair, since that is easier, but not this time. I went to Kelly P a few times but I had to reschedule a couple of times which I cancelled with plenty of time and she had cancelled my appt because her daughter was sick. She said she was going to get back to me, I ended up txtg her but she never responded. I ended up going to another salon. This new salon is just what the NW needs!  It is very upscale inside and reminded me of the inside of a women's locker room at a country club.  Each area has the typical mirror, purse hooks under the counter (love that!), and dark wood surrounding cabinetry that houses all those wonderful salon products that they use.  With the wood and the colors it feels very rich and warm inside.  Kelly always cuts my hair there.  I let her pretty much do what she feels is necessary to get me through the next couple months until I see her again.  I leave feeling refreshed and recharged and with plenty of money left in my wallet.  I must mention Kelly does a fantastic job and is very passionate about hair.  She's been doing mine for years and she also does beautiful up dos.  I haven't dyed my hair yet, but she's a pro at that too.  I highly suggest her and this salon for your beauty needs!
