I got a manicure and a pedicure here today and the lady was nice until I paid her before she did my nails. I don’t have much mobility in my right arm and I always dread getting my nails done because it takes extra time and patience when painting my nails on that hand. The lady did such a horrible job not just on my bad hand by even on my other hand. She tried to rush me out so fast that I wouldn’t notice. I took 10 steps, noticed the horrible job she did, then went right back in. She continued to treat me poorly and as if I was a burden on her. She painted over the mess she already made, put the fan by my nails, started talking gossip about me, then walked away. I got so fed up that I finally just walked out. I ended up calling the business and the owner was kind enough to redue my nails free of charge. I like this establishment but I’ll never have the lady who did my nails first ever do my nails again! Everyone here is amazing. I get complemented on my nails frequently and love referring people to them. I almost didn’t want to write a review because I didn’t want everyone to find them and make it harder to get in for an appointment. This is the worst place to go ! Never again will I come here the main workers here are so rude they asked if I wanted gel and I said no and they gave me so much  attitude and was using a very strong voice and did my toes so quick the nail polish got ugly and it was definitely over priced ! I tagged along last minute with a friend on a Friday night, so I expected to wait quite a while. However, they got me in with only about a 10 minute wait! Lisa did my nails and was FABULOUS! She took her time, made sure the nails were even, she made my nails look almost identical to the Pinterest picture, and was so friendly!! I only come here for a pedicure, they are quick and attentive. They gave me lots of time to soak which is my favorite. I know I can always come here and I will get a great pedicure for $40 (including tip). A nice little treat! I was in the area and wanted a pedi and figured I'd try this place out. It seemed super cluttered, trying to fit as many stations in it as possible! I was going to get their 'deluxe pedi' but being that it was a new place for me,  I opted for a basic. Quickest basic ever (and that's not a good thing!) The one thing I look forward to is the massage, even if it's only 5 minutes. This lady massaged the same part of my leg (both) the whole time! Ummm aren't I here for a pedicure... Doesn't that mean my feet would get the attention?! I tried asking her to focus more on my feet but she had to answer the phone! LOVE this place! I made an appointment for my 7 year old daughter and I, and it was a wonderful experience. They have a special pedicure chair for little girls and made her experience wonderful. First the service at Red Nails is impeccable. They are so hospitable, warm and friendly. Their talent working w nails is bar none one of the best I've experienced. The place is bright and clean. The prices are decent and their pedicures are very thorough. I was just driving a long home when i saw this place and decided to give it a try. They have plenty of workers and plenty of space to accommodate for walk-ins. When i arrived, i was immediately greeted and directed to my spa chair where i was then met by the manicurist. So I came here about two weeks ago and got a regular pedicure and a full set with gels. My toes have only chipped a tiny bit and this was just their regular polish. My nails haven't lifted nor broke off anywhere. They are definitely due for a fill but other than that they look great still! When I came my experience was very pleasant.. I came with my friend and was kinda in a hurry because I had work in only a little over an hour. They got us right in and worked very efficiently (did our toes and nails at the same time.) I did a gel builder, shaped Narrow square or Coffin style. The nice gentlemen was extremely patient and thorough with his work. I appreciated that. I just wished the place was a little bit cleaner... they had food laying around on stations. His coworkers were also learning this gel builder technique. It's time consuming, expensive but worth it. When it comes to nails they are great! But DO NOT EVER get eyelash extensions there. They are horrible, my mom and I went in to get them done and they looked so bad and they hurt and were so fake looking it was ridiculous. I asked for natural looking eyelashes and came out looking ridiculous. I asked them to take them off right away and they burned the inside of my eyelids with the glue remover, I was literally crying from the pain. First time coming here. I went Sunday after i had lunch next door at Flame Burger. The girl that helped me was nice and the place was clean and it was a friendly atmosphere.  I came in for a fill. I had originally got my nails done elsewhere. The tech that was assisting me kept saying that my nails weren't done right after I had told her that I got them done somewhere else. I did however find the color I  wanted, and she did a good job with my shape. I really did like my nails but I'm really disappointed that they are chipping. I got gel in the first place for that very reason. I paid $32 for that fill and I gave her a $5 tip. I will NOT be returning. The product they use for gel is not good. I went in on a whim for a pedicure after seeing their banner while out for a morning walk. I understand it has been an established salon, but is now under new management. My pedicure was outstanding, and has lasted 3 weeks thus far. I had gotten a gel manicure at another salon a less than a week prior, and had complained that it was already chipping/peeling. Serena fixed my manicure, and applied additional topcoats for me for no charge. I came in the next week for a new Gel Manicure with Serena, it's now been 14 days, and my nails still look great. The "new management" is doing a great job at Bliss Nails, trying very hard to accommodate the Salon's prior clientele as well as build a new client base. There's nothing better than a good pedi and mani. I looked through Yelp and found Happiness Nail Spa to be just a few steps away from my house. I made an appointment on a weekend (just to be safe).Inside it's your typical strip mall nail salon. Clean, modern, and comfortable; with the occasional random poster on the wall and interesting content on the television. I was seen by two technicians: one to do my nails, the other my pedicure.They both were very thorough and took their time cleaning every part of my nail bed.The massage was good, and the polish was evenly done. I was thoroughly impressed!There wasn't any weird side chatter or awkward laughing from the techs. One guy actually engaged in a bit of small talk with me. Their prices are a little high when you go for the crazy packages ($83). And they don't allow tipping via credit card, only cash, which is a big bummer for those that are card carrying folks. Had to give a review.  I walk in to the very peaceful location and was greeted by a woman who asked how could she help me.  I informed her I needed gel Polish removed. She was a bit thrown off by removal only but set me up with a gentleman who was very nice.They have the basic massage chairs and they line the foot basin which was nice.  I also enjoyed the relaxing music that was playing softly in the background.As he began to remove the polish he noticed I was sensitive and asked what happened. I informed he I stubbed both big toes while hiking however this one was still tender.The gentleman was so kind and put the gentle in gentleman.  He offered to trim my broken toe nail thinking it would help alleviate my tenderness. It was at that point I decided to get a pedicure. It's nice to go somewhere and they are pushy or insist you have more services performed. The service was great. Rushed, over crowded, got my finger cut cause the guy wasn't paying attention and was on the phone or looking at everything else but my nails. My finger is swollen and every time it gets wet it starts bleeding. I complained to other employees but no one said anything cause the guy doing my nails was the owner. Happiness Nails Spa is a thriving mani/pedi place on Hageman and Calloway in northwest Bakersfield.  We have gone there for years and it was brand spanking new when I and my horrible feet showed up the first time. I was at my wits end with calloused, cracking, itchy feet. My wife says come get a pedicure and I said that's for girls. She told me to quit crying about my feet then. So I went. Ok so I left with about an inch of callous scraped off my feet and they were actually soft and felt better than they had in years. The poor lady who did the work on my pedi looked like she just did a 3 hour Zoomba class. Poor thing Aged 5 years with the effort it took to do my feet. I'd like to say I felt bad, but my feet were too enthralled with... Wait for it... Happiness!  So the price for a nice pedicure with nail trim, cuticles, callous removal scrub, exfoliating scrub, hot wax, and foot massage is about $40. Ten years ago it was $30 so the prices are still good. They have expanded the store to fit more customers at a time and I seldom wait mor than 5 minutes before they have me fat and happy in a massage chair with my feet in warm water. After that massage chair starts, I could happily wait for an hour.  They are gentle and precise and all business doing their work. The spa is clean and sanitary. All the manicurists display their licenses at their work stations. They play soft nature sounds in the background and show beautiful nature photography on the monitors. My wife and daughter get their nails done here and it is always very nice. They do the cutest nails for a 5 year old. Last time she got little daisies on her nails. The only downsides are that it seems the workers sometimes don't understand English very well so I worry that they didn't understand my instructions. Also the staff joke with each other in their language while I'm getting worked on. I might be paranoid, but I swear sometimes it is about me. In order to avoid such feelings it might be better if they kid around in English or away from the customer.  Another good thing would be if someone translated so we are all in on the joke instead of thinking we ARE the joke. Look, it isn't so bad I'll stop coming here. They are such a great place for mani pedi. In fact I recommend this place highly. Give them a try and see if you agree. Read Less

i was the customer for a while and since the last few days i was very disappointed with my nails i just got them done for two days and they all lift and broke and also he drilled too fast on my nails and he cut me a few times therefore, i have to go see my doctor it cost me a lot of money i think he did not sanitize his drill pits also i saw him used old pumice stone on my feet and i got a Deluxe pedicure i feel iching after Tony put Hot wax parafin i think they reused the hot wax parafine !! he sit at the back table #8 he told me his name is Tony!! i saw him bleeding in his nose for months i think he got cancer thats why he always wear the mask all the times when he did my nails !!! so be aware !! and i saw the owners are very meant to the employees!!!
