I'm new to Auburn and just tried Magic nails. I had Michael for my pedicure and full pink and white set. I'm very satisfied with the quality and the price! I'd give less stars if I could.SO bad. I am determined to try out every nail place in Auburn in hopes of finding the perfect one. It is NOT this place.My cuticles are tore up.The Shellac/ Gel manicure: UGH. Nail chipped after one day. Three chips after three days...and they are just peeling straight off. Hint- don't file the nails after you've already fully painted them. Don't you know that you have to seal in the tips??Oh and they had maybe 15 shellac colors to choose from.Reuse cuticle clippers/ other nail things. Worst expierence ever!!!long story but will make you think twice I went to get a full set he start off by putting on the fake nails glue every where after that he put the acyrlic than he started filing my nails and I don't know if he wasn't paying attention or what but I start feeling a hot painful sensation on my finger that he was filing he starts getting a tissue and cleaning than I see blood runny down my finger he panicked a little he just said sorry sorry like no I'm bleeding here not like a little blood I literly had a deep cut he just kept cleaning it but blood was still everywhere. After that I was in pain my finger was literly swollen he finished up after a long hour. He just said if you or your sister need to get fixed just let me know when I went to pay he was charging me $35 and acted like nothing. I was like no I'm not going to pay full price when you made me a deep cut he said pay 30 and he was just so rude after that.      After coming home I realized he was filing my skin that he had put glue on and that's why I felt the hot sensation he was filing my skin!!!!!!! Best service I have ever experienced at a salon, and the greatest skills. We made an appointment for all three of us to get our nails done together and we got lost trying to find the place thanks to Google maps, which made us over a half hour late and they still took us right when we got there. I went to magic nails last week and received the worst gel manicure of my life. Four days its already chipping! The paint is uneven and gloppy and the top coat literally has holes in it. I've been there several times the staff is pretty unfriendly and talks to each other the entire time in a foreign language. My prior visits they did a decent job, so I went back because its close to my job even though they were unfriendly. I will never step foot in this salon again and will not recommend to anyone. I got a manicure, pedicure, and gel polish. The most unfortunate part was that the gel manicure didn't even last a week!I had the gel polish applied 8 days ago and it's 100% gone. It peeled straight off. It's the first time I've ever had it done so I don't know what she did wrong but I'm SO disappointed. My nails are unscathed (you can't even tell I had gel polish on) so clearly it was not applied correctly. I had New Years, an open house, my anniversary, and then family visiting and i was looking forward to having pretty nails. So much for that! I went here based on a friends recommendation. The co-owner/wife is the woman my friend saw but she was out sick.I get a pedicure MAYBE once a quarter (more like 2x a year) because I have to little ones and I'm always busy. This gift of time and "extra special" treatment was from my husband. I went with high hopes because of the other reviews.  Unfortunately, the place was really dirty, looks like it has never had a good, thorough cleaning. They keep the tv on the whole time (made it hard to relax), my pedicure water was not hot (I even asked for her to add hot water and it was still not warm enough), and she took very little time to massage my legs and arms.  I think the lady was new because she didn't even know the co-owners name-? Unfortunately I have had a few terrible experiences with Mais nails. I went to Magic nails right after going to the Mais auburn location last Friday in hope that they would fix the disaster the lady at Mais did right before (which she refused to fix my awful looking nails even though I paid her) The man at magic nails fixed my nails right up and treated me SO well. Definitely coming back to get my nails done here every couple of weeks. The whole nail salon was so polite, clean and just great at nails. 5 stars for making my nails look awesome and treating me so well! Best nail salon I have ever been too. Read Less

Love this place! I go as often as I can! For sure it's a husband wife and son. The son and husband have both done GREAT jobs on my nails! They last a long time too. There's one lady- I keep forgetting to get her name- that does AMAZING pedicures! Read Less

I have been a client for 4+ years here and have never had anything but satisfactory service. The 2 times my gel Polish pealed they re polished it no charge. Only ONCE did I get a cuticle cut too close and it bled (but I like them to get them CLOSE). Van has always been been wonderful and always knows how I like my cuticles and always asked about my mother (client also). As for the previous negative reviews... I have NEVER EVER seen the girls on their phones.  I have even been in the store when the health department came in to spot check...the inspector seemed happy and not marking/going over things that were wrong. I've used 6 different salons in Auburn (been here 38 years) and Magic Nails is my favorite. Read Less
