2 stars based on the 2 times I've been here. First time, I got a full set and asked for pointy nails and a jack skellington design which I pulled up online. Super simple design. I also asked for my eyebrows to be waxed. It's been years since I've had nails and the gal did a good job. When i go to pay it was $45!?!?!? Why? Full set says $20 and they charged me $12 for eyebrows and upper lip but I never got that service done. She said my nails were $23 plus design which I understand but god dam way to upcharge without telling you. The eyebrows were ok, I e had them done better at other places for a cheaper price.Second time I go is because my mom wanted to get nails and liked mine. So off we go and I want to try out there pedicure. I get ingrowns and the gal barely cleaned my nails. I had to ask her to really clean them because of my ingrowns and if she knew how to cut them, please do. Well that was an epic failure. Not impressed with the way they do their pedicures. Now meanwhile my mom is getting her nails done and she goes to wash her hands and she's left hanging there for 10 min because the lady started another set of nails without finishing my mom. I wish I can give this place a better review but with the quality, I just can't. I got a gel manicure less than 3 days ago and it's chipping already. Also, the manicure was not smooth as I would love it to be- there were bubbles. My gel manicure usually lasts up to 2/3 weeks and this is already chipping after a few days. Very disappointed. I LOVE the way Nancy does my nails every time!  She's fast, takes pride in her work and does a beautiful job.  Most people think I have gel nail polish vs the acrylic nails. I highly recommend any of the ladies there. Read Less

Our beautiful bride, Paula, made an appointment with Nancy to bring the bridal party here to get pampered! Thank you so much, Paula and Nancy. Nancy and her team were so kind and their work is incredible. It's been roughly 2 weeks since the manicure and mine still has not chipped! Granted, we were running around moving boxes and setting things up for the wedding, the manicure still looks super fresh (minus my nails growing out as shown in the photo). I usually do my own nails but I highly recommend doing your nails here with Nancy and her team because the polishes they use are of high quality and they have a wide selection for you to select from - including trendy neutral colors! I found this place as I drove by it doing errands.  It seemed like a nice, basic, no-frills nail salon.  They advertised a great deal for a mani-pedi, so I gave them a try.  The staff is very nice and accommodating.  I don't need but the basic services, just a manicure and pedicure.  No acrylics.  No gels.  Just groomed nails nicely polished.  In addition to my basic needs, they also give great massages of the feet, legs, hands, and arms.  I always leave the place relaxed and with beautiful hands and feet.  This is not the closest nail salon to me, not by a long shot, but I like them so much, I make the trip. 2nd time back. Nails lasted 2 weeks no lifting or nail polish fading. Opted for a Minnie Mouse design.  Lots of nail polish choices, finishes, and designs. Great prices. Ample parking in front. Friendly staff. Read Less

My favorite nail spot! I've been going to solar nails for years now...although I live 4 cities away and try new nail shops closer to home, I always go back (30-45 minutes away). Nancy is awesome!! I come here for acrylics and eyebrows and they always do a very nice job and are not expensive at all. Never had a bad experience with them. They did my nails for my wedding and they were really fun, tons of compliments. Read Less

This place is up the street from me so I thought I'd try it. The place looked clean and the staff was friendly and obviously knew the two ladies who were there when I got there, so there must be regulars that come in. The reason I give this a 1 star is the tools they used. When I was asked if I wanted callous remover, they put the gel on and left. It sounded like they went outside and returned with a mill plane grater and proceed to grate the calluses from my. I know my calluses were bad, but I did not feel it is safe. I've spoken to people I know who do nails and have their own salons and they told me that is illegal to do. My pedi was great, but I will not be returning for my safety. Nancy is great!! I had a regular pedicure and a new set of acrylic nails with sparkles (two colors) and it came out perfectly!! Exactly as I wanted, and all for $45 price in comparison with quality is spot on!! I would definitely recommend and come back!! This is my new salon for sure! NANCY NANCY NANCY! Hands down the best nail shop I've been to! She is super friendly, speaks English, very experienced and offers great advice (if asked) on style. You can tell she takes pride in her work and values you as a customer instead of labeling you as another number. She's careful in her craft and checks every angle and corrects blemishes (if any) to yours and her satisfaction! What a breath of fresh air when it comes to dealing with mediocre nail shops. Pricing can't be beat for the quality of service you get from her and her staff! Highly recommended for all occasions! Plenty of free street parking. Read Less

THIS SALON IS BEST OF THE BEST FOR ACRYLIC NAILSThis nail salon is a hidden gem!  The women there are good at both running the nail salon and doing amazing acrylics -- their specialty is white and pink acrylics!  The majority of women who have acrylic nails I love locally make the trek to Arcadia for Solar Nails and hands down it is worth the drive. The salon was recently updated and the decor is  inviting and warm.Sadly they do not carry OPI & Essie gel and since I have switched from acrylics and have healthy nails I have been exploring gel manicures.
