Definitely one of the best nail salons in Santa Cruz County CA. Scrupulously clean. I watched as they cleaned each basin after every client. Chairs etc look new. Horrible manicure and pedicure.  I have no idea how this nail salon has such high ratings. To begin, The owner was so unfriendly and seemed irritated that she overbooked and had to do my pedicure. Nothing was sanitized, they were literally pulling tools out of a drawer. When I asked her to clean off the nail polish from my skin with a brush, she took a large paper towel dipped in acetone and tried to get into the small spaces and ended up bumping my wet nail. She then got pissed that I had a dent in my nail and attempted to cover it up haphazardly. The pedicure woman kept cutting my feet and was using the cuticle remover tool while she was talking and looking elsewhere. I will never come back to this establishment, this has to be the worst manicure and pedicure I've ever received. Had to wait 45 minutes even though I had an appointment. The technician also forgot to do my cuticles/get rid of weird hangnails before putting on gel polish and was trying to do them as she went. I have bits of polish all over my fingers, and it looks like I did them myself. She also didn't give me a massage or lotion and still charged full gel manicure price. I came for a quick stop at lunch. They fit me in and did a lovely job. I just got a basic pedicure. Foolishly, I put shoes on too soon after and ruined both my big toes. I came back in the next day and they fixed those toes and repolished the others too. I'll be back. Read Less

Best nail spa in town! Relaxing setting, great customer service and affordable prices. They really take their time and do it right. I have gone to no less than 10 nail salons over the years. Some do a good job but take an hour, or never have appointments. This salon is detail oriented but speedy. My gel nails were perfect and last a long time. The pedicure is luxurious with a hot stone massage. This is my go to nail salon! Read Less

My mom, sister, and I were in town for my cousins wedding and happened across this nail spa while going for a morning walk.  We asked if they could take all 3 of us, and they were quick to accomodate. The ladies did an amazing job on my mom's spa pedicure, my sister's acrylic set, and my manicure.  They were amazingly kind and professional. Prices were also very reasonable. The worst nail salon! Got the ugliest design on my feet. A friend got a full set and when her nails came out crooked instead of fixing it, they just said "oh, your nail beds are crooked" a third friend got a pedicure and the lady helping her was so incredibly bored, uninterested, rude, and just mentally checked out. I discovered this little gem last summer on vacation  and I couldn't wait to return this year. Both times I was able to walk right in and get a mani-pedi. The place is not that big and there were other clients so I just must have pIcked the right times. The shop is clean and bright and the price is very reasonable. .( especially for a tourist area).The selection of polishes is excellent. Good colors and top end products. No bells or whistles...it's slightly cold inside. BUT, my pedicure lasted for 3 weeks and probably could have kept on if I weren't in the need of a foot rub.In the off season, parking had been easy with the reserved spaces.  I couldn't speak to what it's like in the Summer yet since I have only been here a few times. Other perks, they will do the dual mani/pedi to get you in and out quicker and it's relatively quiet. So, it's easy to relax. Regarding the price, $43 for a hot oil mani and basic pedicure. I took my sister to get pampered for her bday along with my niece and we had a great time. There was a bad storm and they were supposed to be close due to flooding in the area but when I told her that I needed our nails done, Tran (the owner) agreed to take a chance and scheduled us the next day. Both ladies Inc the owner welcomed us with a warm smile and very gracious to us. The place is clean. Both ladies didn't rush, they took the time to give us the pampering we need. Very friendly, nice ambiance, easy to see location, got to park easy, lots of other businesses next to the shop esp the great coffee and ice cream shop across the street, free wifi, great background music and didn't miss the NFC championship...lots of tv screens. Everyone here was very nice and they were able to fit us in before the holidays which I'm sure is a super busy time, so that was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the manicure I got was pretty bad. I wanted a plain grey polish, which they straight up didn't have so I went with silver. The manicurist cut my nails completely lopsided, and I've since realized many of the nails are jagged. My cuticles aren't cleanly cut. Several of the nails aren't even fully painted, and the nail polish that she got on my skin she didn't bother to remove. She only did two thin coats so it's very streaky in appearance. Overall a real let down, and I won't be going back. Read Less
