I needed to find a nail salon on my way home from work. I googled one and found this place. It already had great reviews. There happened to be 2 other ladies getting their nails done that had found them the same way while I was in there. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. It was great and the staff is nice. Everything is clean. A good selection of colors, I also noticed they had holographic and the cat eye trendy styles of colors. First time customer, I’ll never return. The guy doing my nails cut me twice and did not clean the tools after I clearly bled onto them. The first time he cut me he was using the drill bit under my nail and shoved it way too hard underneath my fingernail causing my nail bed to immediately bleed, it hurt like a b!tch. I grabbed my finger and applied pressure to ease the pain and he kept trying to grab my hand back, he was getting annoyed that I wouldn’t let him inspect my finge...r right away.. Then while working on the next finger he cut me AGAIN, this time using the cuticle cutters. He definitely apologized and it was obvious to me that he didn’t do it on purpose but it was clear that his skill set was minimal. I walked in with my daughter to get mani/pedi. Stood at the counter for 10 minutes for the guy to tell me that we couldn't do both because they were closing at 8pm. Sooo.. let me get this straight, you can't be open past 8pm to finish our pedi/mani?!? We all know how much it costs to get no chip mani/pedi?? It just lost him almost a $100 job because we couldn't be there passed 8pm? What an asshole this guy was! I'm getting my pedicure right now and I am getting the best foot massage ever! It's pretty amazing :) The owner is really nice and friendly. It's a family business since his wife and kid works together here. They include the hot stone massage here for the pedicure. It's amazing how they can hold the stones for so long. Where do I even begin? This is the only place I go to for my mani/pedi. I found this place when I first moved to Antioch in 2015. Can't go anywhere else because no where else measures up. I have been here before and usually get great service. Today was a terrible experience. I started with a polish change on my toes, and the lady didn't remove all my old polish. I pointed it out and she said she couldn't get to and handed me a cotton balls with acetone. After, I took off my own polish she quickly and poorly painted my toes. Then we moved onto the dip polish . She didn't soak my nails to loosen my cuticles. She was very rough with my hands and would force my h...ands into positions instead of just using her words. I stopped her right after the first dip and asked if I could get a more red color then this magenta. She claimed that it would end up red the more she layered. By the third layer she noticed it was getting red, so she went and brought a different shade of red. What was disappointing was that she didn't start over! she placed the red on top of the magenta and now I am left with Burgundy!!!!! My nails don't match! Not to mention when I asked her of she would clean up the polish that was on my skin around my nails she said she couldn't because she might get it on the nails and take away the top coat. The manager is one of the most rude and unprofessional individuals I've encountered. After my nail tech relocated I attempted to continue to patronize this establishment however the service and lack of has forced me to find an alternative solution for my hands and feet needs. After going here for several years i've given this place three times to correct their wrongs and each time they have truly disappointed me. I went in for a pedicure in which a newly hired Individual set ...down to complete my pedicure he cuts me and then became visibly upset when I advised him he had cut my foot and refused to complete my work at that time I demanded that the manager give me a discount on the service that I received that day. I had a really lousy day, and I was searching for a nice salon and spa open. I found none, until I passed by this salon with a big Grand Opening sign. So I thought, why not. I came in and the salon was beautiful! The had a relaxing type of theme and there was even a waterfall by the door. The service was wonderful and I came out with a positive attitude. They do such great nails, and you won't find anyone that does the style like they do. I recommend you stop by and try them out and really experience the great experience I had.
