Services are mediocre.I got a mani/pedi and my nieces got kids pedicures.Honestly, I am a little upset over their selective pricing.. my sister, whose a regular customer, comes in often with her kids, they normal charge here $10 for a child's pedicure.. but so happens to be the nail salon was empty when I came in with the two kids and have declined their gel services...they ended up charging me $18 for each child. Not Cool.. I'm not one to lowball for services, but I have to say, I feel a little hustled just because my face was not familiar in their shop, does not mean they can up their price cause I'm new. VERY DISHONEST! I was price shopping yesterday for gel manicure and pedicure close to my home.  I called many nail salons and the price I got was $55 for both, until I called Sparkly Nails which is one block from my home.  Lisa, who seems very friendly told me the price for gel manicure was $30 and for gel pedicure was $20.  I thought I heard her say $35 for manicure and $20 for pedicure, so I asked her: "so the total is going to be $55?" to which she said: "No, $50."  Wow! I found a salon that is next to my home that charges $5 less than everywhere else!  Happy about my new find, I went there today. The Salon was totally empty and I was the only customer! I felt so lucky! Tony and Christina did their job, but no massages! They only applied oil to my legs and forearms and that was it, and the whole time they were talking about how wonderful Vietnamese people are and were asking me when I would go to visit Vietnam!  When done, Lisa handed me a bill for $65!!!! A $15 jack-up!   I told her about my phone call the day before and her price quot and she just smiled and denied it!!  Hey! they may have ripped me off for $15, but they lost a customer!  I will never go back!  BTW, Tony missed applying the gel nail polish on the sides of my nails, where I get the most breakage in my nails!Another BTW, I was watching a Vietnam travel Vlog, and they poor couple were complaining about how they were scammed and ripped off while traveling through Vietnam, AND NOW I KNOW WHAT THEY MEANT FIRST HAND! Terrible Customer Service!  I can't even tell you how horrible this experience was.  He was not using words with me, however spoke a language other than English with other individuals.  He yanked my arms really hard when he needed me closer to him, as opposed to pulling his chair forward.  He cut my nails WAY SHORTER than what I asked for.  Oh and he used a different color than the one I chose.  He was very rough when removing gel.  I won't be surprised if my nails don't recuperate until they have fully grown out.  He also broke one of my nails due to roughness.  All without saying anything to me.  Absolutely horrible. Lisa does an amazing gel manicure! It is always flawless and lasts at least 3 weeks, if not more! I recommend making an appointment because there aren't usually very many people working at once(during the week) there's more working on the weekend though. I've also never had a bad pedicure, they do a good job and give a nice foot/leg massage. This is a quiet and relaxing nail place, I highly recommend coming here! Read Less

Not happy. When I arrived right at opening, no one else was there, I explained exactly what I wanted. I wanted a fill and the same type of nail paint as what I already had. I even had additional photos on my phone.  She said yes, she could do it. I said I wanted them trimmed/filed a little shorter, and she told me they "look so pretty" as they are. Now I realize she just didn't want to take the time to cut and file them. She asks me to pay before painting, I did.  then she sits down to paint and I remind her with a picture how they are suppose to look, and she says, "that's more money." I said, "I thought I made it pretty clear this is what I wanted since I walked in." "More money," is the response I get. So I pay more. She seems hesitant as she's looking at my nails and I said, "can you paint my nails like that?" She seems so unsure I said "fine just do it (this way)." I hate the way my nails looked, they were so long that two days later I had to cut them they were so uncomfortably long, and then I had to file and repaint them. What a waste. Read Less

I took my niece here and they did a pretty good job. I'm not familiar with shops in the area and I wanted to make a reservation here for both of us on short notice. I am puzzled as to why this place has decent reviews. I decided to come here because the other places around here have even worst ratings than this. So I decided to give this place a go. And from the moment I walked in I should've known better. I didn't realized they use the same tools on everyone till I she was already working on my feet! She kept filling on my skin instead of on my toe nails! Now I have a small cut thanks to that! Overpriced! Paid $30 for a regular pedicure not even gel!! If you want a good pedicure and good nails go to Bel Age in lake forest. They do a great job and use new tools every time! Read Less

I'd just about given upon finding a good nail place near Aliso, but I found this place on Yelp and it was great. Went in on a Saturday morning and it was quiet and they were quick to get started. I got the Royal Pedicure from Lisa and she was fantastic. Asked how I wanted my nails shaped and showed me after the first one, which I feel like no one does anymore. She fixed a broken nail for me and was super sweet. Her massage was awesome too. She's really talented and so nice that I'm definitely coming back! Read Less

Went here for a mani pedi and I was very disappointed. There was only 2 people there and they turned away so many customers, and not in a very polite way either. Definitely need more people there if they are that busy on Wednesday afternoon.It also wasn't sanitary at all - the spa chairs are not covered with bags when used so everyone is putting their feet in the same tub. The tools are also reused for all customers; they looked old and a bit rusted. Tony did my nails and a simple mani pedi took almost 2 hours! So long and it wasn't very detailed either. Other places take half the time and are much for detailed. I chose a light color so Tony did an extra coat, but the coat was too thick so it was super mushy - it took almost 8 hours to fully harden. I messed it up because I couldn't go so long without touching anything. Definitely won't be back. Read Less

I came here for the gel wizard Tony and he did not disappoint! My nail beds are naturally dry so I usually end up with gel all over the edges of my skin, but not with Tony -- he is meticulous!!As my schedule got too busy for gel upkeep, I switched to regular polish manicures... Tony didn't do it so I was nervous at first. Until 6 days later when my polish was still perfect - unheard of! I am brutal with my hands so my polish manicures usually last 2-3 days before chipping. Very positive experience. A friend and I went in on our hour long lunch break at work. I was getting a fill with regular polish and she was getting gel polish. We didn't even have to tell them we were on limited time, because they were very quick. I didn't catch the name of the person who did my nails, but he was so detail oriented and I walked out of there with them looking perfect. Best acrylics I have ever gotten! Read Less
