I enjoy my manicures and pedicures here.  The salon itself is beautiful and spacious with large TV's with sub-titles to keep you entertained as your fingers and tootsies get pampered and prettied up.  You're immediately offered a refreshment upon being seated.  This can range from a soothing tea to an adult beverage.  Each technician truly takes his/her time on you.  During my pedicure, they set a timer for a 15 minute massage which alone goes above and beyond any experience I have had.  Service is very accommodating.  With over 400 gel colors to choose from, there's a large selection of colors.  The massage chairs are relaxing, but I wish they were able to scan my body or allow me to adjust the height settings as I am on the petite side and sometimes find it massaging the back of my head.  They are fairly new so take advantage of their specials found on their website.  Even without these specials, their prices are extremely reasonable. My gel nails chipped after 3 days. By day 7 they were almost all chipped and I was out of town! I spent $45 on a gel manicure which is about $10-13 more than I spend at other salons down the street. I've been going here for a few months now and I love my nails every time!!! Stephen and Mimi do mine and the shape is always perfect! Today I had them done by someone else and was not very happy with them. I think she may be just starting off. She was very sweet and personable. But my nails were not good. I called and went back after work. Stephen gave me a WHOLE NEW SET and the owner/manager was extremely nice about it. It's hard sometimes to let some places know you're unhappy with a service but they made it a good experience. His is extremely important then it comes to business and they got it right!! Amazing nail place. It's beautiful inside and the staff is so nice. They make conversation and ask you how you like the service along the way. I did dip nails and they look really good. They are not too thick and you can tell the product is good quality. They have a lot of colors to choose from and they offer you complimentary drinks while you're having your service done. First visit, requested a same day appointment on yelp. They were quick to reply and put me for the time i asked 6 pm Saturday. The salon is really big and nice inside, it was decorated for Christmas! They were patient while i picked my colors for a gel filling even though they would close in an hour. Steven helped me make my decisions and he did a beautiful job! Sparkly black/silver glitter ombré and an almond shape. The price was good too, they have a 10% discount right now. Just moved to OC and tried my first nail salon close to my house.First impression: Clean and spacious salon! Just like another review mentioned I'm not a fan of the medieval decor and dark finishes inside. It doesn't provoke a sense of serenity and relaxation you're hoping to gain from a spa/salon experience. And then you have the LED lights incorporated in the tubs and big flat screen TV's all over, it doesn't all go together. Lastly, the loud country music they were playing was driving me crazy! How about a nice spa music? I was trying to relax and the music was anything but relaxing. I got a mani/pedi. The quality of work that I received was 3.5 stars and since we don't have that option and I care a lot about the cleanliness (plus they serve wine) I bumped it up to 4 stars. The massage (my favorite part) was very average and at times painful due to too much pressure. It was also very short. Like 2-3 minutes per side. The pedicure's filing and polish application was better than my hands. The filing on my fingernails were uneven on at least 4 nails and I was left with very sharp corners on all of them. I pointed them out one by one and asked her to fix them. The polish application was not the cleanest either, the nail bases were not applied even and it looked like when you apply nail polish yourself at home. I was also rushed to pick a color, if it wasn't so dark inside I could better see the specific shade I was trying to find. It was only me and 2 other clients in the entire salon so there was no need to be asked if I was ready every 30 seconds. The manager notice it as well and asked the lady to give me some time. I needed 5 minutes total. Now the positive, complementary red wine! I think if other things were not perfect the red wine made it more enjoyable.This salon sure has potential, I will give them another try before making a final decision if it will become my new go to salon or not. Ooh this place was definitely different from the plethora of nail salons I have been to.  They no longer have discounts or drinks offered.  I still wanted to give it a shot just to experience them.  I walked in on a Saturday morning around 9 and they were able to accomodate me without an appointment. Their menu is not clear and I was not able to figure out pricing for a regular mani pedi.  I highly recommend asking them for price before starting your service.  They charge $20 for French manicure.  The owner was the one who manicured my nails.  He was very skillful with creating the design.  Only thing I did not enjoy was the fact that he had to be away several times to handle customers.  It took 90 minutes to finish my manicure.  I will definitely try this place again for pedicure and see if this place is worth returning in the future. After being told to come here since they opened..and always putting it off, today I finally did it. I'm kicking myself now for wasting time anywhere else! Steven did my nails- he's AMAZING to say the least!!! He's so sweet and a perfectionist.  Lilly did my pedicure and she is my new favorite human. She not only did a fabulous job but gave me- no joke, the best pedicure I've ever had. She massaged me so good and even stretched my legs out!  straight ninja. This was my first time at this salon, I had the basic pedicure, the lady was very friendly and a lot was included as far as the lotions/scrubs. I was shocked they charge $20 for gel polish though, that is the most I have ever been charged. The seats were very comfortable and they had large TVs for you to watch which was nice! I will be back! This is a pretty good spot I discovered! The prices are reasonable and the pedicures are awesome. The first pedicure I ever got here was supposed to be the basic pedicure yet it was so lavish I kept thinking they misunderstood which one I wanted. Had such a wonderful experience at Castle Nails! The staff from start to finish were very professional. They offer you a beverage (adult) right when you get there. You then get directed to a spa chair, which is 100% state of the art. The overall feel of the salon is super nice, TV's in every corner, huge layout and everything was super clean and did I mention the serve adult beverages. (wine and margaritas) They then hand you a nice leather bound menu outlining all their services, which I found very unique. They don't try to up sale you, offer you longer massage, or a bunch of other random services that usually end up costing you a pinky toe. I selected my service "The Royal" and they brought out the different options that the Royal comes with and I swear it look like an appetizer tray. Literally looked that good, you have to check this out! Best part of this place is that they are open until 7:30pm, which is a half hour longer that ANY other place in South OC. This was one of the best experiences I've had at a nail salon ever. The ladies were super nice, the place clean (it's only 4 months old) and the service was great. They offered me something to drink multiple times and when my toe nail polish was too opaque the lady added a layer underneath of a darker color. I walked in at 430 on a Sunday and they were about to close at 5 but they stayed late and gave me a pedicure and a new set of acrylics. The pedicure was awesome as they use high quality products and massaged my legs for 20 minutes. Absolutely I recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be going back myself! Read Less

I went into this salon with a great feeling. The technicians kept asking when my friend was going to arrive and it seemed like they didn't really care about my business they just wanted more  Iwas sitting waiting for my friend and one of the nail technicians comes over and says " he doesn't want to do your friends nails" I was so shocked  that they'd actually say something like that. First of all it's so rude and uncalled for and we're your customers and I've never felt so uncomfortable in a nail salon in my Life . I should've just left when they said that because it was so beyond ok. After that they kept asking every 5 or so minutes would you like a margarita when I clearly said I don't drink and no means no but obviously they wanted me to spend more money and drink more. I felt like they were trying to get me to spend a lot of money since I asked a few questions about certain costs of acrylics and other things and they clearly went back to asking me If I'd like a margarita it was 4:10 in the afternoon on a Thursday and I'd have to drive home.Since when you drink you clearly spend more. I said I would only like water or hot tea. Since I don't drink .The place is very nice but very dark and has a lot of medieval looking images on the walls besides all there large TV and you have to squint to read the subtitles and that wasn't very nice either. What would've been nice would've been headphones  for your ears while watching your huge tvs. My friend arrived and her water in her pedicure bowl was Ice cold and the technicians were rude to her and rushing her so much, plus the manicure was very messy and it went over her cuticles and half asses done. I think you need to spend more money training your technicians to be nice to the customers and actually now what the hell theyre doing. I'd also suggest getting rid of your restaurants looking menu people don't want to spend a fortune on their nails when the technicians don't speak English or even know how to do nails.If you go to this place watch out for the big ticket items and rude employees that make you feel unwelcome and you wouldn't want to go back.. After reading some of the reviews I decided to try this place out. Mimi did an amazing job with my pedicure. She deserves 5 stars. However, my gels where a different story. The lady that did my gels must be new at the job. Let's just say that my nails make mi fingers look crooked. Not just that but my nail bed and fake nail have a separation in between where dirt and gunk can get in and create bacteria or a fungus. The pain job is uneven. Also she didn't clean underneath nail at all. I had to ask receptions to clean up my nails, which he was not very happy about. He raised his voice at me. I did tip him at the end so that made him happy. I did try talking to the lady before but she did not understand. Would I go back? Maybe for the pedi. Or if I ever get gels I'll ask for Steven. We enjoyed our first visit here. Ivy did my pedicure and eyebrow wax and Sally did my daughter's pedicure and polish change. They were both friendly and both did a great job. The place was castle themed and it was clean. The instruments were taken out of individual bags and presented in a tray with the soap leaves, sterilizing "pebbles" for lack of a better word, exfoliating soap and lotion. Prices were fair and I liked that they had a separate kids menu pricing. It was nice to have callus removal, hot towel wrap, and 10 minute massage included in the price already. Other places charge extra for that. And she massaged my feet really good. Most places do a terrible job that I don't even call it a massage. My daughter did not get a message though, which is fine.  I also loved their massage chairs. It worked my shoulders good. Most massage chairs don't hit my shoulder area. They also offer you drinks which is nice. They have a machine there that have a strawberry and a lemon slush to make a margarita.  My eyebrow wax was $10 which is a good deal for me. Overall a great experience since I love it when people still try to give excellent customer service. We will be back. Read Less

Castle Nail salon provided me one of the best mani/pedis I've had in a long time. Lena & Mimi did such a phenomenal job. I waited 2+ weeks to post to see how well the gel stayed - and my nails are still looking awesome and amazing. During my mani/pedi there was a little mishap with the wax, but the customer service to rectify the situation was acceptable and I will absolutely be going back. I went in yesterday with my sister and both are nails have started to chip. They take their time which was nice but your nails chip.  They also were not done correctly. It looks sloppy.   My sister also got her nails done and hers chipped and sloppy too. The place is really nice and can fit plenty of people but when you pay a higher price you expect your nails to last more than 24 hours! It's a shame bc I enjoyed the atmosphere. Read Less

I had my fake acrylic and chrome nails done today by Steven. I am impressed by his skill and careful handiwork. He worked nicely and suggested what design looked best.          The atmosphere here is very serene and unique. It really puts you in a medieval feeling, and this applies to even the bathroom!! The place is really clean as well and the employees are nice and cheerful to talk with. There were also a variety of drinks offered here with or without alcohol.          Nails that look this good takes time so I suggest going on a weekday when it is less busy and you can be given the attention you need. Be sure to inquire about pricing because these things can pile up to a big paycheck. Understandable, but still you must be aware of course. They will tell you before hand but just to be safe, do ask. They won't bite! ;)          All in all, I had a fabulous time here and got compliments even before I left the salon. Customers in there asked to look at my newly done nails and loved it. Wonderful place! Everyone was very welcoming and they did a fabulous job on my mani/pedi. They spent more time on me (massage, lotion, etc.) than I have ever received anywhere else. The salon is really lovely and absolutely immaculate. The presentation is so well done and thoughtful (flowers on your personal tray of nail stuff, lotions and oils presented to look like plated sushi). Come inside and it's a castle! The owner greets you. You choose what type of service you want. They were busy. He explained that it would be 20min wait. I was offered to some drinks and have a seat at one of the massage chairs. He told me that they are newly opened with 22chairs but havent been able to hire enough employees. It's fine. I understand. With the 20min wait, I was there for 1hr20min.A tray that has your scrubs, lotions, petals that melts, the massage oil in this glass (they look like love potions), and the sanitized tools wrapped up and sealed!  Your feet spa has warm water (careful, put one toe in first, mine was a bit too warm) and lined with disposable liners. I had the "Castle Treatment" for the toes today. A choice of mud treatment or paraffin treatment. I went for the mud treatment. Something that I never had before... The mud treatment was a thick gray lotion that had a peppermints scent. I think it felt more like an aromatherapy. Next time I'll go for my usual (paraffin treatments). The castle treatment came with a 15min masssage. It was great. No timer was used, but it felt like 15min. Legs felt refreshed!The wine that was served was an Almaden Cab (surprised it was a boxed wine) and it was good. It went well with the setting and the pedicure. It was free. I can't complain. ;) Grateful for the kind welcoming wine! After my nails were done, I was asked to sit at the round table in the center! WoW, underneath it, was a drying machine! How cool is that! I asked for a design that I saw on from another Yelp reviewer. ;( It was similar, but not exactly what I expected. Would I come back here? Absolutely. Customer service was friendly. It was relaxing. Found this place by accident as I was getting my oil changed for my car at Jiffy Lube.I was just about to call my regular shop I thought I'd give it a try since I had time to kill.I'm sure glad I did.  What a beautiful place! Great service. Lots of gel colors. And many add-ins that are usually an extra charge such as paraffin wax and hot towels. Very good customer service. I was offered a beverage during my pedicure. The medevil atmosphere is definitely unique and unforgettable, and you can tell it was extremely thought out by the designer and architect. I don't think it's every woman's ideal atmosphere for a relaxing spa day, but somehow they made it work. Big plus for having a nail salon next to all of these auto places. Came in with my mom and sister this past weekend. My sister enjoyed "The Organic Dream" which included manicure and a massage. And I received a very relaxing massage. My mom and sister could not stop raving about the service provided. The prices are competitive with other nail salons and the service is beyond exceptional. The massage chairs are new and clean. They are as relaxing as the ones on display at Brookstone lol.The decor was very nice. There are numerous sigils throughout the salon that reminds of Game of Thrones. The ambiance was nice and the music helped us relax.The staff were friendly and provided us with free margaritas! The owners are originally from Texas and moved to this area for better educational opportunities for their two young daughters. I thought that was very nice. Read Less
