Yes, Derek can slay nails, but be prepared to make an appointment, only to get to his shop and still have 3 or 4 people ahead of you, which means 3-5 hours wait time. Also, expect for him to take random days off without leaving any notice via voicemail or note on his shop's door. So you'll just sit there and wonder whether he's coming in. Other patronizers show up also wondering if he's coming. It's insane.The shop itself is unkempt: ceiling looks like it's going to cave in and overall salon needs rennovations. In other words, don't expect to walk in and feel comfortable getting a pedicure because you won't. His mother works at the salon and she is wonderful. She only does the pedicures. I really do love her, but I won't get a pedi in that salon.Overall, Derek doesn't respect his customer's time. He does what he wants when he wants without considering his customers. His attitude is, "Go somewhere else if you don't like it." I've even told him I don't feel he appreciates his customers. He sort of dismissed my comment. There's one Nail Tech at La Nails and he takes too many breaks to get anybody's nails done we didn't leave until 10 at night because of all the breaks he took on top of that the girl that came in before us got her nails done for $45 she had more designs than us .And me and my two sisters or charge $225 my sister got her pedicure and her nails done and she was charged $80 I was charged $70 and my other sister was charged $75. Are designs were that crazy it was very simple. If he wants to make more business he needs to have another nail tech there other than that you'll be waiting for a long period of time and charged a lot more he says that walk-ins are welcome but if it's more than one person he will charge you more I called and he told me walk-ins welcome and I told him how many people would be coming in and he said that's fine but when we finally were almost finished with our nails he told me next time we should just get an appointment which doesn't make any sense. I waited an hour in a building that needs to be torn down and built again because of how disgustingly filthy it is to have my nails done...to only have them be able to be taken off easily while I was on vacation in Canada. Will never give my buisness again. Read Less

This is the best nails shop ever! You can't find another nails shop that can do all the design like this nails shop! Their shop is amazing! They treat your hand like a queen. I would recommend this shop for everyone.Read Less
