I visited Great Nails on Thursday, 7/19/12 to have a pedicure done and have French tips put on after reading the great reviews. The atmosphere itself, while clean, feels cramped and cluttered, but I didn't mind. My pedi went off without a hitch, but when it came time for the acrylic to be put on, it turned into a nightmare. The tech, whose name I never learned, cut into the cuticles so deeply that he drew blood on no less than seven fingers, and went right on with putting the acrylic on. On several nails, including both thumbs, both middle fingers, and one ring finger, he chose tips that were not wide enough, leaving a portion of my own nail visible at the edges. The acrylic work was sloppy as well, as he left a glob of it under one nail, and three days later, the edges already look terrible, as if the acrylic is coming off. All in all, my fingers were very sore for the day and day after because of the damage done to my cuticles, and not worth the $60 plus the tip (why on earth did I leave a tip?) I paid. I was severely disappointed, and I will never ever return. I suppose I should be thankful I didn't get an infection. Read Less
