Worst nail experience EVER! This was my first and last time using this salon. I usually use a nail shop in Hot Springs but it was more convenient to run over there while I was in town. Do not go here make the drive to Hot Springs! I was a walk in on a Thursday morning at around 9:30, they were not very busy at all, I did not leave until almost 1. All I needed was a basic set of acrylic nails (no design, no white tip, no crazy shape) just solid color painted and a basic pedicure. I sat at the manicure table for over an hr without anyone touching my hands at all. Finally a man started out and I could tell it was going to be a horrible experience. Did not trim my cuticles at all, never asked what shape or how short I wanted them, the acrylic material was very sloppy and uneven on my nails, he Facetimed someone for over 10 minutes and was very distracted. Then a woman started on the other hand after he had to leave to hold the baby. My nails are not the same length and the acrylic didn't cover my entire nail on some places and there was extra on the underside of my nail that I asked her to get off and she got a very small amount off but left the majority on it. The polish job was very bad. Left streaks and did not cover the ends and sides with polish. They did not shape them very good so they make my nails beds look very wide and the edges were not rounded off or filed at all really. They were VERY sharp so I had to file them at home. The only 2 complaints with the pedicure was she didn't scrub all the dead skin off and rubbed my legs and feet instead of massaging them. I done a chemical peel 2 weeks before so I really only needed a little leftover dead skin scrubbed off and toes polished. So in conclusion, just don't go here if you're used to quality nail services! This is quite honestly the best hairdressers I have ever been to. I was welcomed into the gorgeous new premises with a comfy chair and a cuppa. All the girls working there are very friendly and nice. Sam cut my hair exactly as I asked and she put a colour on for me, which was very last minute - I am really chuffed with the result. Thank you so much everyone! I would definitely recommend! Well what can I say, a fantastic salon and great people working there. You all made my visit worthwhile. Watching the panick in everyone's face if my hair would come out as we hoped. Sarah you did an amazing job, listened to what I wanted, researched it and took the time to get it right, mixed in a few bright colours, loving the pink/blue flashes. I absolutely LOVE and would go so far as to say, depend on the amazing Kebello treatment. Over the years I have used every expensive shampoo (sometimes spending £50/60 - I'd have tried anything!) and sampled every high street brand to try and get my wavy hair to stop going so frizzy. I always wanted to have that kind of wavy healthy beach hair that models seem to have in those unrealistic Victoria Secret photo shoots - alas, any time humidity touched my hair it would become f...rizzy, dull and hard to handle. Until I got a Kebello treatment! If I could force all my wavy haired friends to try this I would! I can't even explain the difference this has made to my hair, the time it's saved me (literally hundreds of hours) and stress in front of the mirror with my hairdryer/curlers/brush!!!! So thank you! Well I am doing a review based on working with this beautiful bunch!!! I started with jjs hair design at age 16 did an amazing apprenticeship and managed to work with a great variety of men and women. Or boys and girls which way your prefer I trained and qualified level two and level three and enjoyed a wonderful five years. I then decided to leave and experience life and became a mother and a wife! Five years later I rejoined the new JJS Salon and became a senior membe...r of staff with a new growth of qualifications. Enjoying everything from wedding hair to amazing colour overhauls to the day to day chit chat with amazing staff and clients I am proud to be a part of my work family as I feel very much part of the furniture which is amazing. I am very lucky to love and enjoy my job but to also love and enjoy working with amazing people is such a great bonus wouldn't have it any way! Cannot wait for the new start as The Priory!
