I started going back here after a coworker told me of the remodel. I’ve been several times over the last 3 months. Today, I wanted to get my dip powder off & just get regular polish mani. After making me pay before he painted, so of course I tipped too, he proceeds to paint random shapes on my nails even tho I asked 3x for him to paint to the edge of my nails. He then said he can’t if my hands aren’t relaxed. Um ok. He then sits me under the drying lamps & tells me to stay for 6 minutes. I stayed for closer to 15 & he never came back to check or put lotion on my hands at all. Polish is already chipped as I’m sitting in my car. Looks like I won’t be back here. The time before last, they sat me & made me wait at a station for over 30 minutes before realizing the gel needed to be soaked off. Same reasons I stopped coming here a few years ago. Read Less

Out of Little Rock and Maumelle, this is my favorite. I recently moved to Benton. I've tried a few places in Benton/Bryant, and nothing compares to here. Got a pedicure today, and my feet feel brand new, and so soft. They never rush my pedicures, and I'm comfortable with any of the employees with my pedicures. Same thing goes for my nails. I normally have 1 or 2 that I'm comfortable with doing my nails, but I'm comfortable with anyone here. Read Less

I went to get a pedicure and was sat in the massage chair pretty quickly but then waited for over 30 minutes and nobody talked to or helped me. They then proceeded to start another customers pedicure who arrived after me while I was still waiting so I left. This happened to me for the second time today and I will not be going back. If I could give this place a -1 I would! I went there to get my brows waxed. The shape was so awful! I looked like Ronald McDonald when she finished. I was extremely dissatisfied and I let the young lady at the front desk know, she in turned spoke with another lady and they just told me "I'm sorry" and walked off and the young lady proceeded to charge me! This use to be a fabulous nail shop. I was a regular for many years until I moved across town...I visited for the first time in a long time in October 17. Actually brought 2 other friends and we all received services upstairs. The service was mediocre...The staff wasn’t friendly at all. So I didn’t return. Decided to give them another shot today and this time, I brought my mom...Again, the staff is VERY unfriendly!!! No smiles, no hello’s, nothing! Tonight was my first time at this nail salon - and I will DEFINITELY be back! I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. I started my evening at a different nail salon that I've been loyal to for 2+ years. It was 6:09 - and yet they refused to serve me (despite the fact that they didn't close until 7pm, and only had 3 customers at the time). I'd been looking forward to a pedicure all day, so I called NailWorld 2 on a whim. I was greeted cheerfully, told they take walk...-ins until 6:30, and that they'd be happy to serve me! I quickly drove over and was welcomed enthusiastically! Caroline (who I assume is the owner? Manager?) was so friendly and kind. She introduced me to my nail technician and checked in on me multiple times. Anna (who did my nails) was wonderful! She gave a great massage, got rid of 2 ingrown toenails with NO pain, trimmed, filed, and painted my nails perfectly. I also loved finding out that they keep their rewards program in their computer system (so I don't have to keep up with a paper discount card!) Overall - I had a truly pleasant experience that totally turned my night around! Iv'e never been more infuriated than I was when I left this place. First, I get a pedicure with no massage. All he did is rub on the lotion and wiped them down with a hot towel. Next, I wanted to get my nails dipped. I have had them dipped several times before so I know what they are suppose to look like when they are done. 3.5 hours later I leave with a bleeding finger, clear coat all over my hands and phone because he kept spilling it, and then after he was done filing my nails down he turns on the fan to "dry" them and blows nail dust all in my face and in my eyes. My nails look like they were done my 2 year old. Also, being a cosmologist, I was very well aware he was not doing things in a sanitary way. I should of just left after the horrible pedicure. I was in on Thursday to get a gel manicure with a friend. We had an appointment and weren’t even acknowledged when we walked in. We were rushed to pick a color and when my friend couldn’t decide they threw down a color and said “this”. She declined with a smile and they hastily threw more colors at her. When I was getting mine done the lady doing my nails didn’t say word to me. She quickly went over my hang nails and didn’t get them all, in which another guy came behind her a...nd cleaned them up. The “hand massage” if you could call it that was less then 10 seconds. When I was done I asked to pay with card and she stormed off upstairs never to come back down so I couldn’t even tip her. It is now Saturday and two of my nails for my gel manicure has peeled off completely! Two!!!!! I will not be returning ever again and will warn people of going to them. So disappointed!!! I would give it less of a star if I could. As several others have stated, I guess we didn't look rich enough for the star treatment. My friend asked for a design that seemed within reason for a competent nail technician, but they rudely refused and told her to pick out another that they couldn't and wouldn't do it. They then asked if my friend and I would like to sit together, and we said sure (mind you we wouldn't have minded being separated). They proceeded to complain abou...t having to do our nails upstairs. They weren't friendly until closer to the end. The woman doing my friend's nails sliced her finger open filing her nails, and her nails on one hand were completely longer than the other. She politely asked for them to be evened out; otherwise, the worker would have left them that way. My nails didn't come out terrible, aside from them not all being the same shape and one nail has a smudge on it that I hope is only noticeable to me. When they told us our total, I was disgusted. The service at nail world is amazing! Every time I come without an appointment due to my work schedule they always fit me in and make me feel welcome. Some of the technicians don't speak English so they greet me in Vietnamese and it is totally awesome!! I get my acrylics done and it's so affordable for Homewood. You also get reward points omg!!! I'm glad I found something downtown that's close and affordable. Being a cashier at a fast food place can be tight sometimes but having the hundreds of customers telling me my nails look great is rewarding all the time!!! Tai and Trieu do my acrylics. Guys, I can't explain how professional, clean and fast they are for a busy nail salon. Here's the kicker I'm a GUY and they are incredible and excepting of my alternative style. Terrible service! Manicurist did not know how to file an almond shape nail. All of my nails were a different lengths and shape was never achieved. He filed my nails for so long he took some of my skin off. After letting manager know he told me to come back another day because there were too busy to fix my nails. I went back and still the same issue. I asked for another manicurist and that was denied. I just had my tips removed and was never given a refund only a gift certificate. This place used to be FANTASTIC. My go to place.The guy who did my pedi today was very nice and did a nice pedicure. For some reason, he couldn't polish my toes with Shellac and someone else had to come do it. Fine. I had been asked repeatedly what color I wanted. The guy polishing my toes asked AGAIN! I requested an OPI color by name. He told me he didn't have that color and insisted I select my color from the numbered choices provided to me. I picked the closest thing I could fine. He brings it back. It's the very color I asked for. Don't lie to me and don't be lazy. Just go look for it. I'll tip well for great service. This was anything but.When he finished, I put my shoes on and walked out. No goodbye. No "have a nice day." Just rude. Horrible customer service. The older man that works there I don't know if he is the owner or not, is rude and while I was talking to his employee about how I wanted light coats of regular polish he came and interrupted saying I needed shellac when I did not want shellac and then said in front of everyone: Then don't complain about it coming off! I was not complaining about it coming off, I just needed lighter coats. He is a rude person. I will never come back. His poor employees seemed scared of him. Read Less

To prepare for a job interview I requested a set of sculptured nails and what I thought was a French manicure. There was more white on my nails than the natural fingernail color. I was so embarrassed about the nails that I went back and asked to have them polished. This made them look even worse. The nails did not lay naturally on my fingers and pointed up. The polish job was incomplete, therefore you could see the white (which looked like chalk) on the sides and edges. I went back and had the nails removed.
