Just had the best mani/pedi ever (and ive had a lot). I was visiting from out of state and thought. I'd give them a try. The manicurist helped to fill in a hole on my thumb nail. Took my cousin here tonight to get her nails done for homecoming. She asked for coffin picked the color and they talked her into gel because it's "better". She left with the worst jacked looking nails. I wanted a nude to navy ombré and they told me they couldn't do it. So I settled on my nails as well. They acted like what I wanted was the worst of issues to do. We got there at 4:00 and was finally seated at 5:30. Some regulars came in and were treated like queens. We might have be come regulars but we got the worst service and both left feeling like we were a problem when what we wanted wasn't hard. We won't be back. Read Less

Being that Im very particular about my nails, Ive hesitated time and time again about getting them done. It was recommended by 2 different people to go see Vicki, so I did. She did a spectacular job. This lady knows her nails! Ended up spending an easy $100 ($70 2 full sets for me and 1 daughter, $14 regular polish for 2 younger kids, plus $5 each tips for the 3 ladies that worked on us.After going home and snagging my nails while folding towels, poking my eye to death  to take my contacts out and stabbing my toddler a couple times, I decided it was necessary to have my fresh nail set shortened, even if it meant coming out the pocket again. Returned to the shop the same day in hopes to have this problem rectified - and it was. Just not by Vicky. Nails went from "A" game to "need" game real quick. And unfortunately, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. It was my fault for not walking out with shorter nails to begin with and Im glad I got to experience Vicky. But now my nails are rated a 3 out of 5 and because Im so particular about my nails I don't know that I will return. Read Less

I walked in without an appointment. It didn't take long for me to be called up. Tiffany did an exceptional shellac manicure. I hadn't gotten this style manicure in a long time, as I've had solar nails for so long. The atmosphere was kind of noisy, but it was Saturday and they *were* kind of busy. The price was about right, but I wish they had their prices online or plainly posted inside. I probably will go back.Read Less

Waited over an hour for a manicure when was repeatedly told  it was a 15 minute wait. They will also seat you in a pedicure chair, feet in water, and leave you sitting for 45 minutes before starting pedicure. Last time they lie to me. Won't return. Read Less

We were staying in Hot Springs and had been on a road trip for 5 to 6 weeks. My nails really needed help. Vicki the owner worked me right in and even had a wonderful young man do a Pedi on me while she did my gel nails.  Beautiful friendly really nice clean salon. Price perfect.  They were very professional and Vicki the owner even gave me a hug when I left.  They r more than. 5 star!!! My husband and I were on a mini vacation in Hot Springs Ark. We saw Chic Nails on Groupon and decided to give them a try. We called ahead and made an appointment for Pedicures. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. The business was very clean and the service was splendid. The location is perfect, right off the main street(Central). Dave was my nail technician along with a female who was hearing impaired and did a great job. My sister-in-law and I went to this place. They had us waited on the chair for 40 mins! No one has asked what services we needed. No water was offered. I asked for a list of the services and price. They looked around and couldn't find one! No one even came over and tell us that they can't find one! We were just ignored for the whole 40 mins. We ended up leaving unsatisfied and went to another place. I don't know how great their service is but apparently they are too busy to take care of all of their customers. Read Less

So far, well not that impressed. I've lived in the valley (Phoenix surrounding area) for the past four years and this doesn't seem very professional. First, no brochure or menu to tell you what they offer! Crazy right? Second there's a guy working here that is wearing cargo shorts and a sloppy tank top. He looks really unprofessional. Sorry appearance matters in this business.  I was here probably twenty minutes in the pedicure chair before these other people and they are getting service first. Not cool. I asked who was supposed to be helping me and he pointed to two other ppl who are working on other people. Lol I'm getting a $40 pedicure and I'm not even sure what that all entails because there's no menu! No offer of water either. The cargo shorts guy did turn out to be nice, but looked sloppy. Teresa who did my pedicure was nice. Some young guy there was a real douche though. As him and Teresa came toward me and my neighbor, he apparently didn't like the looks of me, so Teresa moved her tools from the neighbors station to mine. It was so obvious! Very rude. I didn't want a man doing my feet anyway just personal preference, but still, jeeze! Good luck with that guy working there. I'm giving two stars for Teresa only. The rest needs serious work. We sat for 45 minutes waiting , no indication of how long it would take , then when one lady was finished she went and got another woman who was done and started on her nails and didn't even acknowledge we were there ,my friend got up and said that's it, then the owner started yelling at the pedicure people that we were waiting . Sorry ma'am we can't wait any longer and left, I feel like I should have been paid to wait that long , we left and walked down to hot springs nail salon, they had prices available and although they said 30 min they got us in within 5 min of us walking in . Finally a place that truly knows the definition of a french manicure. Basically, everyone here is wonderful, and the staff is friendly, quick, and efficient. Your nails will look like something out of a magazine by the time they are done with you. Read Less

Visiting over spring break. This place slow. Took 2 hours for a gel manicure. Thank goodness I didn't do a pedicure too or I would have been there all day. The person doing my French manicure was inexperienced. The only saving grace is that the manager stepped in and finished the manicure so I could get going. I have went to this salon a few times and service is horrible. The owner is extremely rude, only time she speaks is to get your money! Anyhow I just went and not only did she cut three of my finger cuticles while having them just do a basic manicure. (shellac) She had all 3 bleeding and sore! Put some chemical on them so it wouldn't cause infection and continued on. I was in extreme pain and kept telling her multiple times. She even began digging her nail in my finger where she had cut it open. I am in severe pain and even stated that I needed pain pills while getting my nails done to the lady. Her response was sorry. Even customers in the store were asking if I were okay because they could see I was in pain. Anyhow now I have three fingers a day later that hurt like you know what. I can't hardly move them. I will not ever be returning to this salon. They can steal other's people money for rude service and unprofessional manicurist. Read Less

Well I only went one time, and that was enough to know they think they are better then there customers, And the price for a pedicure is outrageous 70.00 I have found several other Salons that can do the same quality of work and know how to teach a customer...Cost is half of what they charge.. Chic nails in hot springs, Arkansas is racist!!! You have to be white and have money for them to treat you nicely. They act like they don't want to do your nails or like your wasting their time. They do a great job, but the time that you are there is excessive!! Even if you have an appointment, they are not on time. I have had my nails done several times at Chic Nails and the average time that I am there is two and a half hours ( just for my finger nails). My time is just as valuable as theirs. Several people have waited so long for a scheduled appointment, that they have walked out!!!!So disappointing because the no-chip manicure is the best!!! Read Less

Okay, this nail salon is by far the best in Hot Springs or maybe even Little Rock! They always stay up on the newest techniques of applying nails or overlays, they are the ONLY nail salon that does MINX in Hot Springs, which is like the best solution for nails ever! Lasts forever on your toes and has a shine you can not get from a polish. They always remember peoples names, they give excellent services and they are honest people!
