Worst pedicure I’ve ever had. Looks like my 6 year old did it. Uneven and so short my toes hurt. And the polish is all over the place. It was super rushed ... didn’t even trim cuticles. I went in there to get a manicure and they cut my nails too short and the paint job was horrible. It had lumps on my nails instead of a smooth streak of nail polish. As soon as I came home it started chipping and there was nail polish stain on my nails when it started chipping. The hand massage I got was bad too his hands were extremely rough and I have sensitive skin so I had instant red bumps on my upper arm. The WORST manicure I've ever had (and I've had some bad ones since moving to Conway.) I would give them zero stars if it was an option. I waited about thirty minutes, then they had me soak my hands in acetone for 30 minutes instead of removing the shellac the proper way, like everyone else does. He then roughly scraped the old shellac off, but did not take time to remove it all correctly. He cut my cuticles without putting the gel on them and soaking them, which hurt. Then, a lady came in asking for one gel nail to be fixed (which she hadn't had done at this salon) and he got up and left me to go work on her! Then, he had his mother come over and attempt to do my nails. The white for French tip that she was using was old and not covering correctly. I told her it looked milky and it didn't look good. She continues to frame it out with the brush with no intention of fixing it. When I kept looking at it, the man finally came back over with a newer bottle and started slathering more on the ends and goes "it bright now" clearly upset that I wasn't satisfied. There were bubbles and nicks in the paint as scuffs all over the clear part. He just kept slathering more on. One nail was completely lop sided. The end result looked absolutely hideous. The nails were hooved up and the paint was blurry. I told him it looked absolutely awful and was in tears. Not only was I leaving with my nails looking awful, but I had just wasted two hours in the salon. On the way to the car I called another nail salon and went straight there. They agreed the nails were awful. It took then several attempts to get all of the shellac off. They painted my nails correctly and they looked like a professional had done them. I will never go back to this salon and do not recommend it. They do not take time and precision, but are just worried about how many people they can get through the door. He offered to fix it tomorrow, even though they were open for two more hours. Awful service. Do not go here. Read Less

I absolutely love this place. I've been going here for almost a year now and I wouldn't dare go anywhere else. My coworker nails were always so pretty & she introduced me to Star Nails. Kevin is amazing. Even when they are busy they are considerate of your time and will let you know when they can get you taken care of. love this place! Read Less

Don't even waste your time. I came in today and they had a few people sitting down so I expected some sort of wait, but definitely not the 40 minutes that I waited. The funny thing is even after waiting 40 minutes I still didn't even get to have my nails done because they hadn't even gotten to the lady before me yet. The whole time I was there The workers only said one thing to me and that was pick out a Polish and wait when I first walked in. As I was leaving a guy outside asked me if I was going to come back and of course I told him I've been waiting for 40 minutes and I'm going to go somewhere else. I will definitely never be back. Everyone here is so friendly and down to earth. By far my favorite place to go in the Flowood area. And of course they do a great job with nails. Maria gives an amazing, very long and relaxing pedicure. She and all the staff pay attention to details. I went to Solar Nails recently because Tammys wasn't open just to get shellac removed and a quick polish and they were so busy and hurried they left me sitting there with the alcohol on my fingers for 30 minutes..way too long. M...y hands were totally dried out, then no lotion or anything and when they hurriedly painted my nails they did a sloppy job..I would have been better off doing it myself. I tried myself to get some polish off my cuticles and ended up messing the polish that was where it was actually supposed to be..on my nails...and they acted annoyed about! I know the staff at Tammys would never treat me this way. In fact I remember last time they removed my shellac they went ahead and tidied up my nails and applied some lotion. Another time one of my nails got messed up that same day..when I went back for a fix the next day they were very nice and didn't charge. I love going to Tammys. First visit to this particular salon. The lady who did my pedicure and the guy, Kevin, who did my nails were both really nice. Initially, I wasn't going to ask for a manicure because it was close to closing and they had been super busy since I'd come in, and I figured they must all be tired. However, they asked ME if I wanted my nails done too after my pedicure was done. It was already 10 minutes past closing. So, they ended up staying an extra hour to complete all of the services I wanted and did not rush through ANYTHING. Even while drying, Kevin told me to take my time and don't leave prematurely. Just got a pedicure here for the first time by Mikey. He spent nearly an hour on me, and did the best job I have ever had! Very detailed and efficient work! I have been there twice in the past two weeks!!! The first time the lady did them there and they were so jacked up not even a week later that you could stick your nail underneath the nails!and I don't work but do stuff around the house but not harsh and I've always gotten my nails done at FOREVER NAILS! so they filled them and did the design and cut them for a discount of 15$! Well here we are not even four five days later, nails haven't grown a lot, and the thumbnail has already fallen off just by me accidentally hitting my leg (tmi sorry) when pulling my pants up! Then they tell me its MY fault!? I only went to them because forever nails was packed and see had to hurry! AND NOW THEY JUST DONT CARE AND WoNT DO A thing about it! DONT DO IT!
